You can recalibrate the joysticks. Its a button combination instead of in the app. Select + Start + up on the d-pad and hold until red light flashes between joystick and d-pad. Then spin clockwise and counterclockwise and press the fat triggers (it recalibrates them too for some reason) also 7-9% error is liveable its the same error % as my official dualsense.
I was initially very worried that I wouldn't like the Dpad. I wanted a more standard nintendo type D-pad and had iffy feelings about this dpad that reminds me of the xbox 360's dpad. I put off playing side scrollers for a while with it and just thought i'd switch back to my dualshock 4. I tried to play super metroid, a game that needs precise dpad inputs to pull off the walljumping trick and, I couldn't believe how good it felt! I was able to do the best wall jumping in that game of my life that night! I agree with everyone here that this is one of the best d-pads ever. easily tops the overpriced trash nintendo is putting out on the shelves. I got this controller for 50 bucks on aliexpress, and for 80 bucks you could get an official pro controller which is worse in every way. I think I'll be using this controller for a long, long time. 9.8/10 (Gyro often needs recalibration and drifts on switch a little, but nothing too bad on PC)
I read that this might be one of the fastest controllers in the world latency wise. Amazing removable D-pad that can be used with other Flydigi controllers
I will say it's one of the faster controllers for PC. The fastest controller for PC goes the Gamesir T4 Kaleid and an overclock Dualshock or Dualsense controller with less than 1ms input latency.
I do not own a Dualsense Edge controller so i could not tell you. As for my Dualsense controller, I was able to get below 1ms wireless but it does kill my battery on my dualsense controller. I am currently on my forth battery replacement lol. This battery hasn't died on me yet.@@nazarethproductions7095
Pulled the trigger on this one yesterday. Got the controller, case, phone thingy and wireless charger for £79. Which I thought was a good deal. Hope it's not a crap one.
was it? I wanted to get one too after hearing that you can't remap the back buttons of gulikits kk3 max controller with reWASD. But it seems the issues if flydigi are far worse.
@@-Zarion Sorry for not replying to your earlier comment, I have been rather unwell for a couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy it, so far mine has been OK, it connected to the PC OK and does not drop the connection, I have been testing it with The Outer Worlds and the gyro works perfectly, once adjusted that is. It also connects to my Steam Deck using the Switch option, The Deck recognised it with the Bluetooth option but nothing worked. The only thing I have not got around to is trying to program the back buttons using the software. Oh and the hair trigger really is, I have shot a few people in The Outer Worlds that I did not mean to, LOL.
People say you only need to update the firmware to fix the joystick issues. The option is hidden and the solution is not obvious either but that's what people report.
Thank you for your review - I wanted to buy this controller for Warzone, but I saw in the comments and some other videos that the stick slips. Or another model?? If there is another model, please tell me its name
Okay. This was very interesting and much appreciated. A lot of talking about the super high input latency with bluetooth. BUT, I think you nailed it, pointing out that one super high outlier. I actually just ordered this controller (literally minutes ago). And one of the things I was most nervous about was the latency, since I play a lot of souls-likes. I do wonder if those mechanical triggers might work better for 3D action RPGs (as attack buttons) or be a bit distracting. In any case, I think your review feels the most thought out that I have seen. I would love to see what you think after spending some more time with the F-VP3. I have heard the sticks go wonky after a while (getting wobbly which itself will cause some drift).
idk why but my controller trigger so sensitive , i cant play car racing game using this controller , i push the trigger a bit then the game straight full throttle
Just some feedback: try to avoid showing things at the bottom of the video frame, as the RUclips subtitles appear at the bottom and cover that section up. Most of this video you're showing the controller at the bottom, and it's a bit hard to see underneath the subtitles. Thanks for the video though.
hi mister I would like is to get a controller that feels the same tension, resistance etc as a regular one, be it DS4 or Dualsense but with hall effect, you think this is for me? i own gamesir g7 se and its very good but the hall effects thumbsticks are empty with no tension, maybe the springs are different that ds4
considering getting the vader 3 pro or the beitong zeus 2 i'm just waiting for black friday to hit. In the zeus video you said that the flydigi was better because of lower input latency and the trigger stops a part from that isn't the zeus 2 simply better. More functionality replaceable parts and different height thumbsticks and from what i've been reading on reddit and other youtube chanels the vader software is awful. can you confirm if the software is still bad, i would really appreciate it.
Honestly the Vader 3 and Zeus 2 is a close compression based on price and features. Also, I did get some extra joystick for the vader 3 from Aliexpress which all together is still cheaper than Zeus 2 controller. I also check both software and Beitong software is way better than Flydigi software.
It's all fun and games until you learn that this controller develop drift after a few months of use because the recentering dprings are cheap. Completely useless

@@NappySenshido you know if the dualsense edge can be over clocked ? I know the regular dualsense can but I’m not sure about Edge
Wireless-wise it is one of the fastest controller. DualShock and dualsense have to be wired have fast input

Got it, I like it so far, lets see how it performs in a few weeks or months.

You have the Apex 4 controller

That's why if you get it on Amazon I would spring for the extra $8 to get it two year warranty
nothing can beat the flydigi apex 2 the best controller ever own
unfortunately this controller has a shitty spring and would increase the drift overtime
