Vader 4 Pro Vs. Apex 4 (and old Vader 3)-FlyDigi Controller Comparison
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 6 сен 2024
- The new FlyDigi controller is half the price of the flagship and out performs in important categories, however the Apex 4 is a better fit for those seeking adaptive triggers on PC, RGB, and rubber grips.

For me personally the Apex 4 is the perfect controller. Immersion is king to me, and the ability to use adaptive triggers in every game in some capacity has been incredible. Use it on the Xbox as well with the Mayflash adapter. Love your videos and glad you got me turned onto FlyDigi!
adaptive triggers work with xbox?
@@bakkuappu They shouldn't
@@Minarreal they work because they are built into the controller. they repsond to trigger presses - they are haptic triggers. in the exact same scenario they wont respond the same way as ps controllers will. ps controllers are adaptive triggers. basically ps controller big explosion = big response in trigger. fly digi on xb = trigger vibrate because you made them in settings and not related to game explosion
Immersion is a buzzword. You didn't even give a single example of exactly where and how adaptive triggers are "incredible"
could you link which one you use please? thanks!

the diagonal movement stuff the commenter is talking about is the software-enforced restrictions on the analog stick's output to score that perfect 0.0 or 0.1 in gamepadtester's circularity test.
Disable that for raw input, and the sluggishness of diagonals goes away.
The reason he's experiencing it and not you, even if you both have the same settings, is that some games already limit the analog stick to a circle, while others have no limit and use the raw output, instead. So in games that already adjust the stick's output, there will be no difference for you no matter which setting you pick. However, if you play a game with raw output (which happens a lot on PC-- 0 deadzone and raw output is pretty common in the PC master race wild west) then you're limiting your analog stick's diagonal output information to a smaller space than what the game expects, which means you can no longer move full speed in diagonals.
So that user just needs to flip that option off to raw output and he'll be back to moving at full speed in diagonals in his chosen games.
And which settings are those exactly?
@@Narzor Where it says circularity algorithm circle or rectangle, choose rectangle.
Both controllers are top-notch.
I honestly wish that ppl would stop trashing one over the other, just because they prefer one much more or can't afford to buy the other one.
At the end of the day, neither option is significantly better than the other, they both have pros and cons.
I could have easily got the Apex 4, but I decided against it, because I preferred the Vader 4 Pro a lot more.
Having used the Vader 4 Pro for a few days now, I still stand by my decision, but I still respect that Apex 4 is a solid choice and worth recommending.
"I could have easily got the Apex 4, but I decided against it, because I preferred the Vader 4 Pro a lot more."
You didn't give a single example or specific reason of how or why you "prefer" it, so your comment is not meaningful.
I got a vader 3 pro about 8 months ago after dealing with the fragle over priced scuf instinct for a year and a half. I couldnt believe how much i love the vader 3. Im super stoked for the vader 4 but im going to wait till my vader 3 is more worn out.
@@AquaticMammalOnBicycleI didn't make my comment to be "meaningful" to any single individual on this comments section; I made my comment to express my views, period.
Instead of nitpicking, you could have literally asked me (like any normal person) why I decided to buy the Vader 4 Pro over the Apex 4.
It's as simple as that, it's not such a big bloody deal as you desperately want to make it out to be.
@@AquaticMammalOnBicycleI didn't know you're the authority on what makes someone's comment "meaningful", lol.
Why not ask them why they preferred one controller over the other?
@@StardustLegacyFighterHe's critiquing your comment like he's a high school teacher grading English papers, lol.
No examples given, instant *F* 😂
I’ll always love that physical feel of the trigger stop over adaptive triggers
Idk this is the first controller I've used that has the "mouse" click triggers, and they are a little mushy and I'm not sure how to feel as where the apex has a stopper that isn't mushy. I like the tactile bump but at the same time I prefer the firmness of the apex 4 so for me it's a hard choice.
I don't get all the craze around adaptive triggers lol, but then again I'm not a hardcore racing or FPS gamer.
@StardustLegacyFighter I would use it only in casual shooters, but honestly it's really nice in forza
I’m gonna just pretend I really enjoy my Apex 4 screen 🗿🗿🗿
Here's the thing: I live in Europe, I don't have access to Flydigi controllers on Amazon and my only option is Ali. I don't know how Ali works outside the EU but, here, I have costumer support. I had a couple of pads breaking on me after several months and I still got either my money back or a partial refund if I choose to keep the broken pad for parts.
I got my Apex 4 on sale for €70 but, it arrived with an LT not working 100%. The adaptive trigger wouldn't activate. I contacted the seller on Ali which gave me two options: total refund if I send the pad back with a free shipping label or I could keep it and get 50% refund. I choose to keep it. Opened it up. Fixed it (the ribbon cable was not fully seated in socket). €35 Apex 4 baby.
I have the Vader 3 Pro also. So, if the only differences between the Vader 3 Pro and the 4 Pro are the 1000hz vs 500hz polling rate and the stick modules, I would still get the Apex 4 because the difference in price between the Apex 4 and the Vader 4 Pro on Ali is not that significant and the Apex has more features and doesn't need addons to be more comfortable. It looks and feels a premium controller. I do understand why Kevin likes the Vader 4 Pro more. It's half the price! For $160, the Apex 4 should definately include the case and the charger.
Keep the good videos coming, Kevin. I'm hyped for the adapters video. I'm on the market for a PS5 adapter.
I really enjoyed my Apex 4 while it lasted...sadly the right stick broke (April/May batch issue I'm told). I've had my AliExpress Refunds but am now really torn as to what to get. I'm getting by with the Gamesir G7se which is great but i do miss my extra back buttons. Would you still recommend the Apex over the Vader 4? IF I order this week it should arrive by the time i'm back from vacation.
@@MGee1 after how long did your apex 4 broke since you got it?
@@MGee1 I would still get the Apex 4.
If you value the wireless adaptive triggers on PC (PS5 Dualsense has to be wired), it's a no-brainer, imo. If you're on the fence because the Apex 4 broke, don't be. Vaders can break too...
//Edit
Vader 4 Pro and Apex 4 have the same stick modules at their core; afaik the "tightening" mechanism is the only difference (one uses the key, the other uses a wheel).
If you don't care for the triggers and can't get past the sitcks breaking, get the Vader 3 Pro and put the savings on the charger + replacement sticks with different heights + the carrying case. Vader 3 Pro is still an amazing pad
I think you can buy any Flydigi controller from gadgethyper.
@@johnny_rook here in brazil Vader 4 pro and Apex 4 are almost the same price, would you recommend the apex over the vader?
Had a vader 3 pro, with the dpad rattle. Loved it, but the loose dpad was an actual problem. Also have a apex 4, thats boxed and unused, as currently i'm dailying my vader 4 pro. And i freaking love it. Best controller i've ever owned.
Wow you actually answered my question the other day and now made an in depth comparison. You definitely know what the people want. Respect. Im glad i subscribed to you.
I bought over 20 controllers watching reviews for all of them, because I play smash competitively, and all of them had problems for smash ultimate. Some had input delay for Nintendo Switch, some had no vibration, some horrible vibration, some delete my inputs of flicking right to left in 1/10th a second (dash dancing in smash) and reflecting that I barely moved the joystick, and finally many of them drift! Leaving me for years in a controller crisis. I have gone through 5 official pro controllers from nintendo, but they all drifted in under 2 months, despite my extreme lengths to take care of them. So I settled for a 3rd party power A wired controller with no vibration that lasted me 8 months til it physically broke from an accident.
What's immensely frustrating is when the reviewers don't play competitively (not that they're obligated to) and they say the controller is good on inputs and only touch on surface level features.
HOWEVER, You're channel goes in depth and care about quality. This gives me hope, and appreciation for your content.
Damn, I would like to ask your opinion. I have steam deck docked and I'm looking for controller around 40-50$ to use it via dongle. I play mainly arcades, fightings and fps like overwatch 2. Better with back paddles which can be assigned. What would you recommend?
The apex4 has had a update to make it actually better I believe, software update, I can't wait to get back on play it, holiday at the moment
So glad you said this. I noticed earlier updated the dongle and got side tracked completely forgot to update the firmware thanks man
We need flydigi to bring back the top buttons like on the apex 2
Grabbed both. Overall prefer the Apex 4, but the Vader 4 has its place - Souls games. Those mouseclick triggers are so good for parrying, and if you have really big hands like me, those two extra lower buttons are great for dodge/roll/jump depending on the game.
I weirdly get double presses on my B button ONLY on Elden ring when I'm running. Not sure if it's something I can fix in software, but I sometimes get frustrated enough to switch to a different controller.
When I'm moving my character down with the left analog stick and then try to press L3 it is really difficult. I have to press down really hard. But when I hold the analog up it is easy to press L3. Vader 4.
I like certain things about the Apex 4 and Vader 4 Pro, in terms of features and the overall designs.
However, I can't stand see-through devices, as they look pretty tacky and I much prefer a basic but stealthy black exterior.
The Vader 4 Pro is the right controller for me, and although I strongly contemplated also getting the Apex 4, I don't see the need to have something that's very similar, give or take a few extra features like that screen and adaptive triggers.
The AC version of the Apex 4 was definitely a very tempting purchase, since its exterior design is much better looking than the basic model, but once again it just looks and feels too similar to the Vaders.
can't wait for the comparison vid...
I prefer the Apex 4. Here's my 2cents
I only have a PC. I play my PC at my desk or to the couch+TV depending on the game. If it's a competitive FPS, I will just use KB+M - everything else, relaxed on the couch with a controller most of the time. For context, my previous controller was a Vader 3 Pro which I loved.
For me, the Apex 4 was far more fun to use because of the adaptive triggers. Yes, the game support isn't as vast, but it covers a lot of big games and I don't have that much time to play that many more than the ones it supports (we all have a steam backlog don't we?). There's also a lot of reddit users posting that even without a game profile for adaptive triggers, the software adapting the rumble up to the adaptive triggers works pretty well.
But a good example of them being more fun - Resident Evil 4 Remake. Lots of shooting, but not a competitive shooter. I've played/am playing this a lot on Vader 3 Pro and Apex 4. I've tried my nephews PS5 adaptive triggers on RE4R and he hates them, turns them off, and I find the concept cool but nothing special. But the Apex 4's motors for resistance are WAY stronger, so the effects are way more pronounced than what the PS5 can do. My nephew finds it fun on the Apex 4. The triggers for each gun type are SO much fun to me. Pistols have a medium amount of take-up slack before the trigger break, then the trigger break and some deadzone after. Firing a pistol fast really feels like riding that break->reset point on a real handgun trigger, but in moments of stress you can full force slam the trigger all the way and it still works...like a real pistol. Rifles have a much shofter take-up and a much stronger trigger pull strength to break. SMGs vibrate back on the trigger lightly. If you've ever shot real guns, this is how triggers feel - real triggers are nothing like these mechanical mouse-click like actuations that a lot of these pro controllers are going. Those snappy triggers ARE faster and more competitive without a doubt, but they aren't AS FUN to me. If I want to be competitive, I'm going KB+M - and that's why FlyDigi makes the Vader series imo.
I don't like this general trend of the market of premium controllers all being "comepetitive" oriented. I want a premium quality controller for a premium controller experience, just like I spend money for a premium keyboard for a premium typing experience. There are keyboards oriented towards gaming and response above all else, but there are still other premium keyboards for the other demographic - but so many premium controllers focus purely on being competitive that many just skip trigger vibration or have weak vibration as a whole because "competitive gamers usually turn it off". (Scuf Envision Pro had such pathetic rumble vibration that ruined it for me (and no trigger vibration), yet nobody else seems to mention it). Like, as thorough as Gamer Heaven's controller reviews are, I have to still research and lookup myself whether a "premium" controller even comes with vibration on the triggers, and it's annoying on some brands even figuring that out. This Apex 4 is exactly what I'm looking for and I'm glad FlyDigi feels there's a market for both - hence offering both the Vader series and the Apex series.
Also, I found the controller loads the adaptive trigger profile while launching the game normally in my experience. I thought I would have to launch games from their software too, but lately I've been forgetting and yet the controller seems to load the adaptive trigger profile anyway.
Apex 4 is the better controller, for sure. Much more premium, better quality overall. I love the Apex line. That said, I also own the Vader controllers as well. Personally I prefer the Apex 4's adaptive triggers set to "trigger stop" mode, I find that they are faster and lighter to press than the mechanical trigger stop switch on the Vaders.
@aweigh1010 I wouldn't say that there is that much of a significant difference in terms of build quality.
The Vaders are much better built than some of the more expensive controllers from brands that charge twice as much.
The Apex 4 is much heavier because it has more tech inside, and has a much bigger battery.
It's like comparing the stock Xbox controller with the Elite 2, as both are well built, despite the big difference in weight.
Great Video.
Thanks for answering my question about the cutouts on this video also.
No worries!
I wish the apex 4 had those physical trigger locks. I like adaptive triggers for racing games but if I'm using simulated locks for something like monster hunter I sometimes push past them.
Considering that the Apex 4 is a "flagship" controller, it makes no sense that it's missing something a "budget" controller has.
@@WolfOfJusticeand that made it less desirable then the older v3p
@@WolfOfJustice vader 4 was released after the apex 4 to be fair. wait for apex 5 i guess
got me edging towards the vader 4 kevin, but can't wait to see what guilikit are putting out now.,.
I find my Apex4 the best controller I have ever used thus far. Granted, I haven't used the Vader models, but I am very satisfied with my Apex 4. Thanks for sharing.
if they were both priced the same at $80, which would u actually buy?
Well I have the apex and got it off Ali for that price but had i not and the new Vader came out then i would've probability would've bought that instead but i have no complaints with the apex
Just got today Gulikit KK3 Max and jesus i am loving it,prefer it so much more over dualsense aim controller, elite 2 ,and victrix pro bfg, and due the fact having small hands and shape of xbox controller is perfect for me.The only thing this controller is missing is the Luxury feeling from elite series 2 ;D
After watching so many videos about controllers makes me wanna build my own.
One note about the launching games through the app for the adpative triggers to work, I actually just turned the thing on, launched the game through steam, and the adaptive triggers worked just fine.
The app downloads a mod for it to work, and some uses the same configs as the PS games when you choose the DS mode, but not all have that, so the standard is mod created by modders or flydigi it self.
Great video again man 💪🏼 Could you get your hands on the new Wolverine V3 Pro? I have the Apex 4 and looking into buying another controller, either the Vader 4 or Wolverine V3 Pro
7:00 perfect =/= best
I'm thinking of buying Fly Digi... Thanks
Bought mine Apex 4 with dock for about 105$ and for this price I consider it to be on par with Vader 4 in features/price ratio. But if in future Apex 4 will stop working for some reason, Vader will be a bit more preferable to buy for me (unless situation will repeat itself when flydigi will invent new killer feature for future apex model months before new vader with similar specs will release, then I will be tempted to buy new apex again I guess)
Really wish the Vader 4 was available on Amazon now lol
Thank you for the comparision! I've got a new Apex 4 for a cheaper price than the Vader 4 pro, but now I'm not sure I made great deal lol.
I have both. Apex 4 is better all round, easily.
If you got it for a lower value, then yeah, you did a good deal. As a controller it's not that much diff from vader, and I'd say it's better BUT I def know both have their cons and pros so it's up do you really. I have a Apex and I can't deny I'd love to get the Vader as well, and I might do that, but for now I'll just enjoy the apex, cause It's insane.
@@lowisca even not for a lesser price, it's still a bloody good deal IMO. I have pretty much every controller of merit that you can think of & I've been almost exclusively using it.
I was so this controller does not work on Xbox or PlayStation on my Xbox owner and I love your channel by way Great work I love them keep them coming can you please answer this question what controller on the market is similar to this one with politics sticks and the tension and some of the software and the mouse click triggers that they have on the market what's the best one and which one has the mouse click version instead of that elite series where it gives you somewhat of a mouse shorter pool I don't give you no mouse click and thank you keep going
I think I've heard it before on this channel, there seems to be an electric disturbance in your sound. Sometimes when you talk you hear this extra frequency in the mid-lows of your voice that sounds electric so it's not just the sound curve of your mic setup, but I think it is caused by your setup. Thought I would let you know, love your vids 🙏🏼
You can update the software of your V3P after changing the language of your Flydigi space to Chinese , it will be getting 700 polling rate
Thumbstick curves are useful for a lot of games with bad deadzones (ie 360 games on Xbox one and older CODs)
if FlyDigi is doing a faceplate design on the apex 4, it'd be nice if they'd offer optional faceplate designs/color options too...
When you thinking the vid will drop regarding the converters that work to play PS5 games without a PS5 pad? For whatever reason I do not jive with the ps5 pad at all and really want to use something else but Sony has that system really locked down. Tried a brook converter and it didn't really work.
Can anybody tell me about the difference between vader 4/Apex 4 vibration?
vader 4 has normal motors that don't adapt to the game apex 4 has motors on the triggers and on the body that adapt to the game, the triggers also have a tensioning mechanism that you can also adjust yourself to feel stiffer, have recoil, push back against you or lock them to feel like vader's mech triggers
Love the price and features of the cheaper much better but damn the white one looks so good lol great vid like always bro thanks!!
I just got my vader 4 pro and it already has sick drift up to 5% deadzone, I have tried to calibrate the controller using windows and the flydigi mobile app and neither of them helped in fact I think it made it worse. The stick drift seems to be uni-directional across the x-axis on both joysticks and when calibrated will usually drift to the right or to the left it just randomly decides which direction to drift in. Is there any way to fix this, or will I have to wait for and update or just return the controller?
Wierd for this this to happen
@raghavbatra12345 not really considering the ammount of software bugs with the vader 4 pro and apex 4
@@raghavbatra12345It's not normal, my Vader 4 Pro doesn't exhibit any issues.
Kev can you do a vid on modding a stock xbox/ps5 controller into an "elite" controller under a given price point? (
I don't know... for me, the minimalist RGB backlight on the Vader 4 looks normal and neat.
Definitely better than the turtle beach body overloaded with all sorts of childish vectors and lines...
Whats about xbox series x connectivity? Do you need a separate adapter like the guilikit kk3 max?
Got a question: is it safe to leave my Vader 3 Pro on the charging dock all the time?
Great vid, love your stuff.
of course, it hibernates when you don't use it
Thank you for this video. But I'm still thinking between the Apex 4 or the Hexgaming Phantom.
Could you make a video on how you added extra back-side buttons to your Dualsense controller?
Great review. Love the content
I have to say the Apex 4 is in a weird spot now, it's very good but quite hard to recommend for twice the price as the Vader 4 Pro.
This makes me genuinely wonder how the Apex 5 will be like? Ditching the screen and still asking $150+ would be hard to swallow, and improving upon the Vader 4 Pro will be quite the tough challenge. If it had "the greatest and most durable dpad of all time", I would consider it 👀
The apex 4 is not double the price at all. I got mine for 66 GBP and the Vader 4 is currently 55 GBP. So for the actual price difference you are getting more with the apex 4 by a long way. It is a shame people are buying the apex 4 on Amazon for over double its actual price.
The adaptive triggers ain't that bad though I have it set to vibration mode with my own settings for the unsupported games like metro exodus and it works great it's not the same as the dual sense but it's good enough for me at least. I hope they don't ditch it for the apex series and instead continue to improve upon it since the vader series seem to be more for the people who like the classic triggers with trigger stops.
That’s actually really cool. I’ll set mine up like that. Thanks for the info !
Great video. I bought a Vader 4 Pro. I have one problem that I hope someone can answer. How can I invert Y on the gyro? No matter what I do it always is opposite of my right stick setting for Y axis. This makes the gyro practically unusable. I don't see any option in the Flydigi Space Station app to do that.
Does that circularity option in the Vader 4 make a difference for fps?
will you be reviewing the new g7 HE?
End credit spoilers sounds like my thoughts was being done for me😅
Hey Kevin, how should I do connect all of these controllers on the ps5? which adapter should I use?
I’m doing a big comparison soon. I use Brook but they have restrictions on ps5
@@GamerHeavenOfficial sounds good I will be waiting
Ist the vader 4pro working on xbox x with the wingman xb3 adapter?
I have the apex 4, and I use it on my series x via the Ttitan 1 adapter. I also have the original brookwingman xb, and it still works, but there is a slight delay with button presses when the gyro is turned on. I also have a mayflash Magic X adapter. But my apex 4 will only work in wireless mode with that adapter.
So, for me, my Titan 1 adapter is the best. No problems wired or wireless, and the Titan 1 has a 1ms response time.
After brookwingman's xb2 was able to be blocked by MS, (Titan 1 did not have that problem, and it has been around since like 2013) I don't know if I could trust the brookwingman xb3.
Just my 2 cents.
I cant click the L3 or R3 in at all when they are fully actuated up, game breaker. How am i supposed to be leftstick full up moving forward and hitting sprint ..
On which controller? Have you been able to figure it out?
@@mitchellgarcia4061 Figured it out apex 4, you must actually have faceplate on to play since it limits like the final 10% of stick actuation as the L3 stick smacks the ring, at that angle you can still easily click in L3. With faceplate off its cooked. and its kinda annoying since the tension adjustment is behind the faceplate
I just wish the apex 4 had mouse click triggers but aside from that I’m taking the apex all day.
Can't have adaptive triggers and also mouse click triggers. 😕
I wish I can use the Vader 4 but my fingers feel so uncomfortable pressing the back buttons. I wish they would change that part of the design 😔
I have the kk 2, kk 3 max, Vader 3 and the Apex 4
Apex 4 is my main, I love the dpad is the best I ever use. The best controller in the world...
But I'm aiming for the Vader 4 in the future to become my new main
The kk... I don't like the dpad, hurts after a while and there are no mechanical buttons.
I buy all of them because of you 😂
what's the grip tape you put on your fly-digi controller
Most likely the Talongames one, its on Aliexpress. Was looking at it the other day myself too. There is a lite and a classic version, and one of them has grip tape for the face buttons, dpad, etc. Wondering if that offers anything extra over just getting it for the grips alone.
They currently only sell the tape for the Vader 3, but I asked Talongames and they confirmed it works fine on 4 too. I plan to order it after I receive the controller hopefully soon.
It is also on Amazon for a similar price, he made a Short about it.
@@stfn112They've just released grips for the Vader 4 Pro, and I ordered off a 3rd party seller from Amazon today.
It's coming in 2-3 weeks from now.
I just overnight my Apex 4 and threw those broken elite 1 & 2 controllers in the trash. My only complaint with Apex 4 is that silicone grip. Like on my elite controllers they will bubble up and become uncomfortable using it.
I know that KK3 Max is what we're having, but i'm sure the comp between KK3 Ultra and Vader 4 could be more adequate
Hold up, there's Ultimate variant?
I misstyped myself. It's supposed to be "Ultra" not "Ultimate"
@@corniel657 There will be. It was leaked here and there, even on their own website in one of the graphics for an accessories product
would you go for the apex 4 if it were 25 dollars more expensive than the vader 4 pro?
Not much of a price difference tbh, I'd go for whatever I like more.
I personally wouldn't, but that's because I like design of the Vaders a lot more.
Can you try clutch controllers please ? 🥺👍🏼
Loving my kk3 max
gotta slap the rubber grips on the vader 4 then it will be 👌
Isn’tTMR just a new version of “hall” sticks?
Yeah, it's some in-house development.
Technically, the Vader 4 Pro doesn't use standard hall effect joysticks, even they are still hall effect joysticks.
I'm going to see if I can get the vader 3 pro cheap somewhere, but just in case I don't get it, between the direwolf 2, cyclone pro and easysmx x10 which one is a decent option ?
hey mr. heaven, was considering the vader 3 beacause the pro's are a bit inflated in price still but my only concern are the non magnetic sticks. How often do controllers actually get stick drift?
Does the Vader 4 pro also have the nonsensical automatic calibration of the motion controls like the predecessor Vader 3 pro and Apex 4?
Is the Vader 4 charging dock different than the Vader 3?
no
Do you know if one can buy a dual sense thumbstick replacement that incorporates hall effect or tension adjustment? Or both?
My Apex 4 trigger stops turn off randomly sometimes when playing call of duty or fortnite and it has really started irritating me not to mention you push through it when clicking so Im getting a Vader 4 Pro so that wont be an issue anymore.
Yeah, that's why I'm not a fan of adaptive triggers.
As cool as they are, mechanical triggers just don't suffer the same issues.
If it doesn't have a spring, what is forcing the centering? Where is the tension coming from? And whatever that part is, isn't it possible for it to break or mess up at some point?
Jeez louise, that's a nasty loaded question.
Trying to find something for Xbox that is not $200 that has Hall effect sticks, at least 2 back buttons, and trigger locks. The only thing I found with all 3 is the stealth ultra. Any suggestions??
I assume the vader 4 isn't close enough?
literally the vader 3 or 4 pro.
Saw nothing that said they were compatible. I just read you need an adapter, and those apparently cause the sticks to not function well, if the adapter even works at all.
The Stealth Ultra is alright, but apparently the battery life is terrible, nowhere near the advertised 30 hours.
Now we just need a touchpad and it would be the best controller ever made.
Sir is flydigi apex 2 controller compatible on brooks wingman xe2 and play it on ps4 slim??plss do a video at least a short ..thank you sir ..new subscribe😊😊
Lol I just got my Mayflash magic x to finally pair with the Apex 4 to my Xbox...works great...
Aye yo kev do you have a tutorial video on how to use rewasd?
if prices were similar though what would be the recommendation?
I would go for the apex 4 for the gimmicks.
If i was to get after market thumbsticks like from extreme rate would the Xbox caps fit?
Is the Apex 4 that much of an upgrade over the Apex 3?
Big upgrade.
@@StardustLegacyFighter thanks, might get it but my apex 3 still pretty strong. What are the biggest pros for you?
@Rockindaxmike The Apex 4 has better joysticks and stick tension adjustment.
That may not seem like much, but it sets the Apex 4 apart from lots of other similar hall effect controllers.
Bought Vader 4 pro for 58 euros and shipped already.
Nice 👍🏼
Where can I find the link for the grips can’t find in the description

apex 4 have broken stick problem, idk about the vader 4 pro. If u want this brand ,better go for their non tension adjustable controller. once its broken, no customer service will help.
They fixed that a while back iirc, it was a faulty batch from April to May iirc.
I absolutely hate the back buttons on all their controllers.
I don't hate them, but when I compare those buttons to the metal paddles on my KK3 Max, it just feels wrong, lol.
Apex 4 should have had a different design imo, it's just way too similar to the Vaders atm.
The video I've been waiting for before buying!
So I was able to get the new hex phantom on eBay new cause in their website you don’t get it until October or November
There are some reports of a lot of lag on the Vader 4. Do you have a take on that?
Im disappointed with the lag.
Sure, i won't even notice it playing 60fps+ games on my pc.
But i surely will playing over bluetooth on some emulators that already have input lag.
I've no lag with the controller and I am using the dongle that comes with it.
@@leonardomatheus1888I've been using it with the Dolphin emulator on PC, and I've noticed 0 lag.
In comparison, my DS4 had much more lag, although it wasn't that significant.
But with cable do u have that fell of lagging?
Hi, what adapter are you using to connect this controllers to xbox and what is the input delay like?
Pro best controller for ipad ..
I play warzone mobile..
Thanks..
Does the flydigi Vader 3 pro work on the PS5 ? 🤔
Hey hey, thanks for the wonderful review and amazing video as always. I'm currently torn between the Apex 4 and Vader 4 pro. I have always wanted PlayStation adaptive triggers on PC. That would be a huge selling point for me, but so would the extra face buttons on Vader 4 pro. You didn't mention what the vibration was between the two of them. I also just wanted to clarify what the difference was between the sticks on the Apex 4 and the new Vader pro? They are different. Yeah? Vader 4 pros slightly newer? As a disabled gamer. I think the extra face buttons would be really helpful, but I really like the adaptive triggers. Thanks for helping me out if you read this
Hey,
so far I can only report on the Apex 4.
I think the adaptive triggers are great but they aren't like the ones on the PlayStation because the games aren't made for them.
Unfortunately one of the adaptive trigger motors has broken :/
I think less can go wrong on the Vader 4
The Vader 3 pro is 60 dollars on Amazon now
Nvm
@gamerheavenofficial i love your videos, I have a question iam very very new to controller I have used mouse and keyboard my whole life, but I want to get a controller with back paddles, so my question is what would you rekommend? I want it to be the ps4 style , should I go scuf , BB, or aimcontroller? What would you recommend and why? Hope you have time to help :) keep up the great work
what is the battery life, please give me a number if possible ? :)
15 hours with the RGB and Rumble off
Thanks man 👍
No problem.
is the dpad good for fighting games?
With cable, and the overclock, he reach 1000hz? 1ms? Like ps4 controller?
It already achieves that with the 2.4Ghz dongle.
Need some mic tuning. Distracting
What if they were the same price?
Would you still get the Vader 4 Pro over the Apex 4?
I have both and after app tweaking/using the Vader 4 Pro for a few days, the Apex 4 still is my current Controller King for competitive fps.
To me the Apex 4 sticks have more accuracy or resolution? My movements and control in game seem smoother, more precise. I would also say better/quicker controller response overall. Basically a better k/d with the Apex 4, for me.
I will keep the Vader 4 pro as backup, and continue more testing.
I have an elite series 2 and I'm a sweat in cod , I use all 4 back buttons and need a replacement . I want the apex 4 for cod ? Amy advice
How does this compare again a PS5 DualSence Edge ? I know its xbox layout but performace wise?
Bro I'm in vietnam and i just got the controller for half a month... just get the vader 4 pro. Im not even kidding it has the best p/p on the world.
DS Edge is overrated.
