@@venom82pl I actually have both of these. I got the Apex 4 first and had it for several months prior. Honestly the Apex 4 is great, but if you need gyro, turbo, or to bond keyboard keys to the controller, get the Blitz 2. The Apex 4 has gyro, but it's either it's emulated gyro to right stick from the Flydigi app that never reaches the same accuracy as Steam Input's, or you have to use it in Switch mode which doesn't work with the dongle, it's Bluetooth only and the connection latency is wild in Switch mode. The Apex 4 also has turbo function, but it's implemented badly. Enabling it via the screen doesn't work, and it's only the software that let's you enable turbo (and you can't set up a turbo modifier button, either. You have to go into the software and tell it to turbo the X button, for example, and in order to turn that off you have to open their damn software again). For keyboard controls to buttons, the Flydigi software has to be open. If you close it, you lose that functionality. The Blitz 2 does all of these things better. The only downside for Blitz 2 is it has some technical problems (the software and profiles have issues actually sticking on the controller. Mine finally did the third time I did it). Also, the Blitz 2 has digital triggers. It does have crazily better input latency compared to the Apex 4 though. I still like the dpad better on the Apex 4 (Blitz 2's is too small), and the Apex has analog triggers and can emulate adaptive trigger functionality. So if you play racing games, Apex is better. The trigger locks aren't very good, but at least the Apex 4 has something. Apparently the Vader 4 has better latency than the Apex 4, but I didn't pick up a Vader 4.

Why apex 4? vader 4 pro is much better for shooters.

So I put the controller in PS5 mode and steam does detect the controller as a dual sense controller. All my profile I set still worked.

Also Dual sense mode only works in wired mode

@@NappySenshi Weird, I thought it would work with the dongle, that's a bummer. Can u tell me if in DualSense mode u can remap any of the extra buttons through Steam? I saw someone saying the front buttons can be remapped but I actually wanted to know if the back buttons can also be remapped, setting shortcuts only with front buttons isn't ideal.

@@LauroAbreu I lied about the dongle connection. Was having issue at first but it sync. Steam does recognize it as a dual sense controller and when the extra buttons are not programmed it register as L4, L5, R4, R5. the extra button cannot be programmed through steam but really don't see the point when the BIGBIG Won app allows you to program keyboard inputs and macros. Steam does allow the use to program gyro.

@@NappySenshi BigBig Won's software is really cool, maybe the most complete if compared to other Chinese controller' software! Tho I wanted it on steam so I could set the extra buttons for shortcuts on steam, like changing the active buttons layer, using a virtual menu or recenter gyro. Thanks for testing it!

@@NappySenshi nah, I got one with 4 back buttons and extra 2 buttons beside bumper/trigger too, for $25 Thunderobot G50S it's good enough I don't know about durability tho since it's only a month in me, but quality seems ok but feels quite cheap compared to my flydigi vader 3 pro, what I don't like flydigi is reliance to its software for macro/turbo/button mapping, the thunderobot G50s did it with button combi no software required both have HE Analog & triggers. I want to try 8bitdo controller next 🤔

Ridiculous isn’t it , to have a monster hardware ,built for Warzone mobile and it gets held back because razer can’t give it an update to android 13 really boils me down. On the plus side it has allowed me to do some more cloud gaming and have been playing some BO6 on cloud gaming and it’s been pretty enjoyable. But I’m still hoping I can get the WZM updates eventually

@gink3649 yeah that WiFi 6E chip is great on the Razer Edge and an under appreciate feature in my opinion. Hopefully, Razer will push out an OS updated.

@@NappySenshi 100% I’ll hold my hands up I underestimated it , I knew it would be able to cloud game as its designed to but a cloud games really well , call of duty surprisingly smooth and graphics are spot on , and button delay is barely recognisable, I know some are anti cloud gaming but it is the way things are going I feel 👍🏻

@@NappySenshi researched into razer getting an OS update seen a lot of people saying Razer have given up and don’t know how to go about the update for the OS

I also took the Wi-Fi 6E for granted as well. I heard about people saying that razer is having a hard time figuring out how to update to Android 13 but they are still applying security updates. The need to just update the figure out how to make a custom OS image and apply it.

There are multiple different versions of this controller. It sounds like you got Asura 2 Pro multimode edition. In exchange for working on the switch and PC the input latency was lower. At least that what I notice with mine. If you really want a controller that faster and still support switch and PC. Go for the Pro Plus edition.

@@NappySenshi thanks for the fast reply bro that definately have to be the reason but all around wired connection im getting 346 average polling basically close to yours but dongle is the only thing but thanks for the info it really helped save me i will most likely be purchasing that versionas well the controller is great all around

Thats great! I overall like the performance of this controller. I can see how the button can get jammed with food and other debris. If you have a mini-Phillips screwdriver I say, go for it.

The Razer edge is running a custom android 12 OS, and it recently got another security update this September. Yes, you can download other apps like FL studio mobile.

Not this version but they do have a switch version of the ultimate C controller.

As far as I know, the bluetooth to dongle switch is your only way to switch input. The dongle is using x input while the bluetooth is d input.

Yeah I have seen refurbished 5g models for 200 USD. It really depends on the PS2 game but I do 2x resolution.

This is the reason why I want one.. to emulate gamecube, wii, ps2 games or ps3 games on android. My phone samsung galaxy a14 5g is a low-end or midrange phone can handle retrogames pretty good but dreamcast games is good and smooth but some games kinda stutter a little. Not sure but I just want one to emulate high extensive graphics games.

I'm aware that the Razer edge cannot update the Android OS to 13 and 14, but I still recommend this device especially with the TapTap app allowing me to download any android game.

No I never experience that with COD mobile on the Razer Edge or my S22. I would check to see multiple background apps are running and turn them off for better performance for the Razer Nexus app and COD mobile.

Thank you for this comment. I should have done a little more research on downloading PGR. I just download TapTap app store and was able to get the game on my Razer edge. It also has Devil May Cry : Peak of Combat. Again, Thank you and glad you enjoyed the review!

On the back of the controller. You are going to find a switch with Bluetooth on the left and 2.4G on the right. Flip the switch to 2.4G and use the dongle. bluetooth does not support X-Input

If you are asking about the razer phone, I don't think Razer is even selling that no more. The only reason I start using the razer edge is because my phone was getting warm and needed an android gaming tablet/ phone with active cooling and these was for a decent price. I been using this since April 2024

The vibration is decent compared to the dual sense and Xbox controller. It's the basic two motors.

The main difference is the positions of the 2 programmable buttons, and the input latency. The flagship ultimate may come with more features, but this ultimate C2 has lower input latency with a 1ms input latency compared to the flagship ultimate with 4ms input latency.

Unfortunately no. You can use the mobile app though to customize this controller.

I have to disagreed on this. I use this on MVC2 and Tekken and I find it a great d-pad. 8Bitdo did do an upgrade to their d-pads on their newer controller making them less mushy, but they still perform great. Do you prefer octagon d-pads?

I completely disagree, this dpad is excellent and very accurate with no false actuations, be it pressing diagonals, horizontals, or verticals, every input has clear feedback as well. I have tested the d-pad vigorously while looking at the input registered through the gamepad tester and i can conclude that the d-pad is extremely reliable, it is a significant improvement over their other controllers such as the pro 2 which i also own.
