    This is beyond epic. Thank you for sharing as my current painting is being ruined by my ignorance on this exact thing & light on water.

    As I was swimming yesterday I was looking at the light at the bottom of the pool. I am so much observant since I started painting.

    Hello thank you for making this video I do not paint on chanvis instead I paint miniatures for tabletop gaming. I have wanted to do this effect on a miniature for a while and didnt know where to begin. This has given me a starting point to practice the tenique. Any advice or recomendations on how you would paint this on a 3d model.

    If I don't have French ultramarine color I can use normal ultramarine?? Thank you for sharing 😊😊😊

      It depends if it's the same colour as French Ultramarine Blue lol ;) A warm blue should be fine as a substitute.

    Fantastic demo Mark, thankyou. Tell me how do you stop your paint from drying out, do you always use Atelier Flow paints.

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  2 года назад

      Thanks for your kind comment! I mostly try to work quickly. I use Atelier Free Flow and Atelier Interactive paints, work fast, add water when necessary (not too much). Wet the back of the canvas first if it's a very hot day. Cheers :)

      @@ExploreAcrylics Rhankyou. I too use Atelier interactive but havent tried the flow. Ill bear in mind wetting the csmvas as i love on the Gold coast.

    Can this pattern be used for under water reflections, minus the waves?
    Im struggling hard to make mine look right. Your tutorial is the best I have seen!

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  2 года назад

      Yes, absolutely if you're looking directly into the water rather than out. The flatter to your eye the water gets, the more reflections you'll see.

    Hi, I’m trying to use your wonderful information to paint in watercolour! . . . I know you work in acrylics so brilliantly to get the perfect result, could you suggest any way to replicate your results (in an amateur way 🫣)?

      Hi, I’m sorry I don’t deal in the dark arts that is watercolour 😂🤪

      Oh, thanks for the reply! I will try to at least replicate your end results in the dark art🤣
