    très jolie marine, cette eau foncée au clair de lune tous ces reflets dans l'eau , les dernières vagues qui viennent mourir sur le sable. Oui je vois que c'est à l'acrylique je travaille beaucoup à l'acrylique extra fine et les pinceaux pour ! ça sèche vite parfois je mets quelques gouttes de retardateur pour pouvoir la retravailler. j'ai acheté une brosse large liquitex pour flouter la peinture c'est génial j'ai des effets à la Bob Ross
    j'ai d'ailleurs acheter son traceur et là je vais acheter le couteau grattoir, les pinceaux s'usent vites en les essuyant sur la toile, mais après ils sont réservés pour des feuillages, des sapins ! jolie tableau félicitations Nadine de France

      It varies sometimes Greg. Generally a coat of Impasto to "lock" in the layers before applying Universal Medium over that. Sometimes it'll be a Matte Varnish though at the end!

    Hi Mark. I've watched all your YT videos, and love the video lessons I've purchased on your website, especially the color book.
    I watched your pallette video, but I've noticed you now use what looks like canvas to mix your colors on. Can you explain what and the thinking behind it?

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  2 года назад +1

      Hey Kris, it's not canvas (I'm using an old shower curtain in this one) :) And I can understand your confusion! We just use something white for full tutorials so viewers can see the colour mixing process better than they possibly could on my normal grotty palette :D

  • @ronibancroft6897
    @ronibancroft6897 2 года назад +1

    Ok. I have to ask. Whats the white stuff you use on your pallette. I have copied your way of setting out my paint, and love it. The only problem I have is working on old paint. This lastest method looks good to me. I have use Atelier for ages now as it helps my blending, what do you suggest to bring the formula down to the same Free Flow paint.

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  2 года назад

      Ahhh. Look, that white stuff is an old shower curtain that Frankie makes me put down when we're filming so people can see the colour mixing process better. Normally my palette is an old piece of ply that is absolutely covered in paint. Not sure what you mean about bringing the formula down to the same Free Flow? Can you elaborate there?

    • @ronibancroft6897
      @ronibancroft6897 2 года назад +1

      I knew it wasnt paper but it seemed nylon like, what a great idea. Thank you Frankie. 😍 As interactive is a more heavy body paint, I need to get a thinner paint, like free flow. I use all Atelier mediums but never seem to get the viscosity right when trying to dilute. Do you get out all your paints and then mix the medium in before starting. I know you have videos on Atelier mediums but it seems to be my blind spot.

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  Год назад +1

      Sorry Roni, I missed your reply here. I don't actually use the mediums that much. Just a bit of water to be honest. From time to time I'll use some of the thin medium, or I might mix in the Universal Medium with a colour if I want to "lock it down" but yeah, I just mix it up, add some water, slap it on for the most part!

      Atelier Interactive Acrylics. Check them out. They are designed so when using Atelier Unlocker you can rework the paint and get better blends. He is using free flow here that can't be reworked, as far as I know. Atelier Interactive is a heavy body paint.
