I’m going to upgrade as many parts as possible while I’m in there and top it off with a good clutch. I wish I could get hold of one of those GForce Transmission gear sets that Calimer uses. I will be anxiously awaiting content and reviews on the transmission and clutch. Will you be running a WOT Box on the car to allow for No Lift Shifting? When you get your break-in miles, will you at least make some hits at the drag strip to show us what the setup is capable of? Lastly, have you upgraded your half shafts yet?

6speed, why did you go with the LPX over the LPXHD? Isn’t the LPX rated at 800 hp? I was wondering if you might be on the verge of making too much power for that clutch?

That transmission is the WINNER...oh...ohhh...I've been doing research and talking to other customers of ben calimer and overwhelmingly the opinion is the ben calimer trans is a grenade. The 5th,6th gears are not hardened, the noise from the trans is terrible and the customer service is bad ,did they offer you a warranty? No one is getting warranty service. I pray 🙏🏿 you have a better experience.
There is plenty of very happy calmer customers out there my self included… if you do enough searching on the internet about anything you will always find some shit… but from a first hand customer with that trans maiking 950 to tire and 3 years of beating the shit out of it and still going strong… oh and Ben customer service is top notch . Always answer calls and emails … sorry you went down that rabbit hole of finding some bs on the internet
You can also use wet tissue/toilet paper, done hundreds of clutches this way. Also dude lubing the input shaft is putting on WAYYYYY to much lube. That shit can flick on the clutch plates and contaminate them, causing them to slip. Just needs a light smeer. Clutch needs 500miles, calimers trans needs 3000miles for break in from what I've seen. Hope it's going well.
