Great video.. I keep hearing from people that the Twin disk clutches brake MT82's.. Not saying it's a fact it's just what people say online.. I'm still all stock except for some small things, 1.Steeda Body Mount shifter Bracket, 2.Steeda IRS Braces, C&L axle Back, SR Xpipe, Billetworks Shifter Ball, and in 2 weeks Ima do the Syncro Shift 2 in Trans and do the Rear to while I am under there.. I am about to hit 14,000 on my 17 Performance Pack GT so I haven't really had issues with my trans except for some 3rd gear lock out from time to time which fuching sucks when it happens... Anyway great video..
The octane booster from bobo zone is legit. It makes my 02 signal react accordingly. I’m sure you noticed that also. Thanks again for the good content brother.
I installed a RAM billet flywheel and RAM power grip single disk clutch on my 2019 GT. With the new clutch and flywheel the transmission had a tiny bit of gear rattle and some occasional shudder on low rpm take off, shift lockout past 7k was eliminated and shifts were much easier, pedal feel and pickup point was significantly improved as well. Car is stock with just a shifter bushing to firm up the mount.
Don't get the mantic clutch for this trans, vmp recommended me one for this Trans and I didn't even get 1k miles out of it. Calimer doesn't recommend the mantic.
I recently installed the Stage 2 D4 in my 2020, love everything about it, very smooth and shifts are on point. Ben Calimer actually recommended the Lethal Performance LPXHD clutch for my car. Its paired with the MGW X spec short throw shifter, also trans mounted, All three together are perfect. Currently 720whp and this trans allows much more in the future, great video, thanks for the review, not many out there.

It depends on the damage. But the short block will either have to be replaced or sent to a machine shop to be cleaned up and machined for a new rotating assembly. There’s no easy way around it really.
Phil is right you can’t just take the engine out and put a new piston inside and then it’s fixed, that’s not how it works, you’re better off just buying a brand new short block, do you have to be so accurate when putting new bearings on the crankshaft for the connecting rods and the mains You have to have somebody who knows what they’re doing either to build the short block with all that money spent you might as well just get a whole brand new short block
Alex, you used to always suggest mounting the Barton Hybrid 3 in the body mount configuration to avoid NVH, but then you installed this one to the transmission. What made you change your mind?
