Abbie Barnes is brilliant!!! Totally inspirational.
Those views are stunning Abbie. I'm due to climb Ben Nevis in September and I'm hoping for similar views. I was taught how to breathe by a therapist and it really is incredible to appreciate how anxiety or other issues can trigger our bodies to use only a small percentage of what our lungs are capable of. And by practicing some simple breathing exercises you can benefit so much from that extra oxygen and slowing everything down in the process. It takes practice but it can be very beneficial.
Thanks. I am feeling a bit lost, too. Car accident, chest injury, then illness on top of it. That oppressive overwhelming feeling. Hard to find the joy and desire to explore. Have to just go and “stay wild”

Did Ben Donich last year. So many different bodies of water visible from the summit. A good climb and so much quieter than The Cobbler round the corner. Been suffering from sciatica AGAIN, but it has eased a little so planning to do it's neighbour Beinn an Lochain asap.

Sad I missed this live as I was at work. It was amazing and wow what a view. We’re all stronger than we know and thank you for being you. Abbie, the breathing exercise you describe reminds me of techniques from qi qong. There's a lot to gain from learning diaphragmatic breathing. There are "back" breathing exercises which use the diaphragm to push or massage specific areas and organs. Be well, stay wild!

Hi Abbie any idea if you will be doing the southern upland way or summits in the galloway hills such as the Merrick,Corserine and hartfell etc a few decent corbetts in Dumfries and Galloway
