    But according to expert opinion, diabetics are advised to take guava, orange and watermelon in minimum quantities because of the high glycemic index of these fruits. Let diabetics not follow such amature opinions

      Sahayadhas don't afraid of guaua, orange and watermelon 🍉. Watermelon, for example, has a high glycemic index (80). But a serving of watermelon has so little carbohydrate that its glycemic load is only 5. 100 gms of orange glycemic index is 40 and glycemic load is 4.4, guava glycemic index is 32 and glycemic load is 5. Don't check the glycemic index, check the glycemic load. Less than 10 is low glycemic load. 🙏 Please remember
      The glycaemic index (GI) rates carbohydrates according to how quickly they raise the glucose level of the blood.
      Yes I agree Don't drink the juices but eat the fruits. Logically minimum quantity is a simple warning for diabetics.
      The glycaemic load (GL) rates carbohydrates according to the glycaemic index and the amount of carbohydrate in the food.
      Calculating Glycaemic Load (GL)
      The GL calculation is: GI x the amount of carbohydrates (in grams) in a serving of food) ÷ 100.
      GI low is less than 50 but glycemic load less than 10 is low. Often check the glycemic load.
