Travel plans didn't cooperate for a few months... lots of repeats of stuff I've filmed before. I have a bunch of content in editing now that will show up in the next couple months
I was there in Phoenix 3 years ago. I was there in Scottsdale then I went to Sendona took a bus trip to the Grand Canyon. Then went to Tucson. I love it out there. Scottsdale home of the Spring Training of the San Francisco Giants! In fact I use Pre Check when I fly Domestic flights.
Great report. I'm taking American Airlines to Charlotte, NC from Portland this spring. Hopefully I won't have a rough ride like you did; turbulence is always scary for me.
I used to live in Tucson. I just moved to Phoenix about a month ago. I love it over here. It's much nicer and prettier than Tucson. It's also a lot friendlier here in The Valley.
Great video and cool new intro. But yeah I've flown on Christmas Day four times (2011, 2012, 2016, and 2017) and none of the flights were that empty. Although back on Christmas Day in 2012, I had a 4 hour delay on the flight I was on.
Another good trip as always! When it comes to TSA PreCheck, it's well worth it! I may be Canadian, but I still qualify for PreCheck because I carry a Nexus pass, great for priority boarding on Amtrak trains & getting across the Canada/US border faster too! One quick question: which track is used around the 2:00 mark? It's another one that goes good for videos like this.
I'm surprised airlines don't serve turkey on flights on Christmas Day......that would defiantly be a bonus and make travelers feel at home during any holiday actually.....cause your traveling and not spending time with loved ones or in your home town.....could make it just a bit better
He was not in a rental. He was on the right passenger seat in the car. The Drivers seat was on the left. His parents probably drove him to the airport.
I think this is the longest we've ever gone without a trip report from you. Finally!

You could eventually do a sequel of the Texas Eagle from St. Louis to Maricopa (Phoenix stop) and eventually catch a ride to Phoenix.
Love your trip reports
Hopefully your next trip to PHX will allow you to check out the new T3 concourse!
I just flew to PHX on American in a 787 from ORD. It was unique experience flying a domestic flight on a long range aircraft.
Great video Jacob! Keep up the good work! It would be cool if you did a transatlantic flight trip report.
Yesss these are my favorite videos of yours! We want more! You're always so thorough and positive. Great work.

PHX is a AWESOME airport!
Nice. Me and my family flew to phx in September. We stayed in Scottsdale.
Nice view of the clouds on takeoff
Great video 😀👍👍
Great job as always on your trip report! Maybe in the future could you maybe fly delta and do a trip report on that like connecting through their hub?

I live in STL too. Definitely an AV geek.
Oh boy, the mills... used to work there.
I was starting to wonder if ya stopped flying. It seemed like its been 10 years since a airline trip report. As usual great work.
I am originally from Scottsdale, living in Farmington now. Small world! Lol
Hello from Scottsdale AZ. Love your videos :)
I really wish you could visit Utah! I would love to meet you! I really enjoy your videos!
Id LOVE to travel on a holiday bc of the emptiness

im flying from omaha to phoenix in march on southwest
When is the next Amtrak trip report
will you and/or jason get the chance to fly on an american md-80 retirement flight next month? i would love to but can’t :(
I am taking AA to STL on 9-26. I fly in on B737-800

Brad Best they are a business and are not going to hand out food to everyone just because it’s Christmas Day
Do you use a GoPro strapped to yourself for your videos?
Hate the front row of First Class normally. Never have underseat storage in front of you, and your leg room is normally smaller due to the bulkhead.
How do you like the desert 🌵 here in Arizona
Have you ever visited Tucson?
Can you come to Summerlin,NV
Surprised they don't check your boarding pass when you board in the states
FYI passengers start 3rd row probably because there are 2 rows ahead with pilots 1st.
You really got lucky on that flight. Well, save for the rotten turbulence and the tough beef. Domestic looks OK, but not spectacular.
Could have been worse
He could have had the fish
Was your rental car a Mitsubishi Lancer?
He was not in a rental. He was on the right passenger seat in the car. The Drivers seat was on the left. His parents probably drove him to the airport.
Will TSA PreCheck even be a thing after this pandemic?
Yeah it will still be a thing
did u visit youtuber skyvator he now lives in phoenix
That seriously looks like no leg room in First class?? Are you like 6'4"???
skyvator does elevators and planes just like you
michael sharp and car washes.
You should block the QR codes and personal info on the boarding pass.
He back in st louis nr
you flew during the government shutdown lucky you have tsa pre i have tsa pre as well
Really rude of your seatmate to put his foot up on the bulkhead. Disgusting.
That's the most expensive handful of nuts and an old shoe I've ever seen. American Airlines domestic really sucks.
