Thanks sooo much for these videos, really helpful. I just upgraded from using the 600D and of course the 80 is slightly different with a few more options and it helped me quite a lot

With 80D, How can I video shoot in Av or Tv modes.. it doesn't let mi choose the aperture or shutter speed in video mode.. hav I messed on some setting? I can only adjust the exposure!! Only in manual mode it shows me to change aperture and shutter speed

5:31 FHD = Full HD. I believe it is 1080i compared to 1080p. i stands for interlaced and p for progressive.

Hi, when you`re recording video in Aperture Priority how do you change the F number?

The only mic that works properly with any cannon camera is the rode mic pro with the DB switch. If you are going to use another mic the auto gain control is going to be boosted up and is going to give you a hissing noise whenever there is not a lot of noise. Please state this in your videos so everyone is aware. other wise they will be spending hours researching and buying products like the on you mentioned that will not correct this issue. Thank you

pr0ject1le These guys are good at some stuff but trust me on this one. You don't want to get the mics they mentioned. Get your self the ode mic pro with the db switch. Go into camera and turn of the volume then click the mic to +20db. This is the only reason rode made this mic.

I have a few friends who use this mic but didn't know this was the reason, never bothered asking. I have it on my watch list now for when I start recording external audio. Just recently purchased this camera with a bunch lenses so currently set back on my budget at the moment :)

I believe any sd card that is 45mb or faster will be fine.

"Lens abrasion" is not the right pronunciation or term (what happens to your lens when you try to clean it with sandpaper)... it is "lens aberration" (ah-ber-a-sion), a totally different meaning defining optical distortion or color fringing..
