Teacher Teacher is one of my favourite tracks - theres one part where Tatiana switches partway through a word. That takes some serious skill and control!
Maggie Reneé this is a must, you really get to see her power on stage. I would also suggest Live version of “Who is gonna be the One”, if really want to see how low her growl can go. Plus the M/V for “Teacher, Teacher” is great too
@@maggiereneemusic You got my sub coz of the way you tried to find out how it works and explaining vocal techniques and the anatomy of the throat, keep it up! 😀😀
@@maggiereneemusic In the beginning with low volumes instead of a growl go for like a faked burp (chug a beer or soda for inspiration if needed) with a dropped larynx with open relaxed throat. You should feel pretty heavy vibration like a cat purring, then sing/throat hum in your lowest register and raise volume to adjust. I think.. I only do Karaoke but that seems to get the sound out for me. just discovered your channel, but I'm absolutely loving it. Also, I'd love it if you reacted to The Misfits - Dig Up Her Bones (Punk) and/ or Lamb of God - Bootscraper (Metal). 🦁
Exactly why I subscribed. It's "wow how did they do that" not "this isn't my thing so it must suck." I wish I'd been this open when I was studying music.
@@horsepuncher95 I so agree! @Maggie Renee you seem to be an amazing fan of music and appreciative of the techniques and skills involved. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and how you explain things.
Especially in the growling sections, there are two vocal tracks, one lower pitched and one higher. That helps to give a more “demonic” sound. It’s a common vocal production technique in extreme metal
Honestly I love how a lot of metal and hardcore bands have these really beautiful moments in the instrumentation full of clarity before it goes into the heavy parts.
I've been a death metal vocalist for several years, and even I don't like the descriptions used in the "tutorial" you were looking at. I NEVER forcefully exhale, and If you look at Tatiana as she's doing her growled vocals, she looks very relaxed, as it should be. Watch her neck when she's growling, it looks quite relaxed, if she were forcing, as the tutorial suggested, it would be VERY obvious. What I would suggest, if you really want to find out more about this form of singing, and how it's done, even just out of curiosity, is to look up a DVD called "The Zen of Screaming" it's how I learned to perfect my death metal vocal style. It's a professional vocal coach who has trained a great many very famous vocalists in metal.
I also prefer the relaxed state for low and mid, but I struggle trying to do highs idk proper technique for doing highs. I always figures so long as it doesn't hurt or feel strained it's acceptable
The only way I can see ppl singing like that is if they let their inner demon possess their voice ... no offense... everyone of us has demon inside us ...including me
I honestly don't think any one band member outplays any of the others. They are all EXTREMELY tight, and well rehearsed. Beautiful sound, great band...
@@1x1nDone Yeah but the point of the video is that they got a new drummer and wanted to showcase him. Album version of this song has their old drummer with different drumming so when you know it already you can focus on the new drummer
Hun, no metal fan would ever find that sexiest or whatever. Honestly, metalheads would welcome you with open arms, hand you a beer, and show the intricacies of head banging. The last one was silly, but welcome to the family.
As someone who joined the metal scene as a Goth at the age of 14, this is very true. Even the older metal heads were like oh my goth a precious child to protec, but also toss in the moshpit :p
OpheliacsLament That is the one thing I don’t think people can understand until they have experienced it. It always makes me laugh when someone sees the pit and are terrified. Honesty, that is one of the safest places you can be. Sure, you might get nudged and pushed around a little bit, but that is because the entire pit becomes a single moving entity. However, as soon as some idiot gets a little to excited and carried away, the crowd will fix that there and then...and if the pit misses it, the band doesn’t and set things straight immediately. It’s a good family to be part of. 🤘🏻
Maggie: Her vocal quality is kind of poppy... Tatiana: Hold my beer... You should react to Perennial Live at Wacken. Her switches between clean and growl are seamless...
Metal vocalist here! She uses the same sort of growling technique that I do, which utilizes the false vocal folds to make those noises. The vocal chords themselves are relaxed and not doing anything while she's growling, and the sound of it of course comes down to individual physiology, some people will simply have a different pitch range than others, regardless of what their actual voice sounds like. Breath support is very important, and the sound should feel as though its coming from the front of your face, above the mouth. If you'd like a more thorough explanation, I'd highly recommend watching The Zen of Screaming by Melissa Cross. Hope this explains what she's doing at least a little bit, cheers!
Are the vocal chords completely relaxed? I know for my growls I use both false chord and fry in conjunction with a good amount of compression to make one sound. And as far I know it’s completely safe and it doesn’t hurt at all, and I can hold a growl for ~10 seconds.
@@tevildo9383 For me yes, I find that if I try to add my vocal chords into my growls it hurts and wrecks my voice near immediately. From what I can hear it sounds as though that's what Tatiana is doing as well, though this is going to come down to individual physiology of course. Devin Townsend and Joe Duplantier for example both seem to have the ability to mix and match their false chords and their vocal chords without much or any penalty, but people that can do that seem to be rather few and far between.
@@werewolf2003002 Interesting. With my vocals, I can reverse engineer the entire sound down into the 3 individual parts (false chord, fry, and compression). But I find it completely different from trying to add vocal tone over the false chord growl, which is something that I cannot do yet.
@@tevildo9383 I think the vocal chords are SUPPOSED to be relaxed. This way, you can do screams/growls AND clean vocals without one type hurting the other. I could see where once in a while a vocalist might slip up and enter vocal chords while growling, but it will be rare and I hope never in front of a crowd...
If you don't mind, I'd like to correct that one a little bit: she had different teachers, and on the false fold technique, she happened to have the same teacher than Irina, the Ukrainian singer of of of my favorite French bands, Blazing War Machine.
"I was not expecting that." -- and that my dear, is the reason people love to request this video for first time reactions to singers and vocal coaches. Watching the reactions of people who have no idea what is coming is the most entertaining part.
There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing "that look" on everyone's face when she turns the growl on. It doesn't matter who it is and no one sees this coming. I was very impressed by your instant desire to know how she does this. You will get a ton of recommendations from Jinjer fans for more. This band can be relied on for really great songs especially their live RUclips videos. "Perennial" live at Wacken is a good start. I don't know if you have heard Diana Ankudinova with her cover of "Wicked Game" but I think she will interest you. Have fun and enjoy your Planet Earth musical journey. Great Art is Everywhere!
is she really singing? I wonder, perhaps a man is singing, but we see her face??? Because that's unbelievable. No. That looks and sounds impossible ...
@@NurBull the false cords aren't impacted by sexual dimorphism. They are just flaps of tissue that evolved to close the trachea when we need to generate internal abdomenal pressure to lift a heavy weight or push out a hard turd. So there isn't female false cord growling and male false cord growling - fry screaming is a bit different because the sound is partially done with the vocal cords though which is where most people's idea of what a femal growler or screamer sounds like. The size of the instrument matters though, so when you listen to the best male growlers like Alex Terrible from Slaughter To Prevail and Randy Blythe from Lamb Of God, they can effortlessly growl as low as the lowest growls Tatiana can push for and can push even lower. Tatiana isn't doing her low growls here, btw - this is just a bit lower than her most comfortable default growls. If you want to see how low she can go, check out Who Is Gonna Be The One official live for a classic performance or Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev for a more modern performance of her really low growls.
@@NurBull That really is Tati doing her very own growling. Go watch any of their live-on-stage performances (just read through the suggestion comments here and you will find plenty to chase down). :)
Saw them in concert a few months ago and was amazed she could sing that way through an entire show. I remember after going ok, that is 1 show which was perfect, multiplied by how many other shows.. Unbelievable, a true master. And she is so sweet in person.
@@maggiereneemusic hello i Hope you're Fine after this video :P but if you want there is another woman which have same voice (many women in extreme metal style) this wonan is lead vocal of Abnormality, for me is perfect woman growl, so strong and heavy :) have a good day :) (i Hope my English is... Correct)
She absolutely sounds like that live. It's absurd how talented she is. English isn't even her second language and she writes pretty much everything in English. And let's not forget the band who are just simply phenomenal. If you want something more soulful from them checkout Outlander. If you wanna see her do it live your best bet would be Perrenial(Live at Wacken). I absolutely adore you and enjoyed the reaction. You actually bother to learn about what you're reacting to.
Tatiana is not the only woman who is capable of such deep and powerful growls, but she is among the best in the business currently. If you are interested in learning more about it, there's another youtube channel, Voice Hacks, with Mary Z, who is a metal singer who's done a lot of growling herself, and she teaches people how it works and to do it safely.
@@maggiereneemusic there's something to this to be honest. You use your false chords usually for these growls when done properly. I find it hard to find the right oral and throat positioning at first when I do it and sometimes later because I'm new to it. But when I find those spots it's damn near effortless. No real strain and I can easily switch to cleans with no issue. Sometimes it drags up some phlem though which fucks with me when I do a quick switch from time to time. The interesting part is that these extreme vocals aren't nearly as loud as you might think. Depending on what pitch you want and how much air you give it and other stuff it can be pretty much middle of the road volume!
TheSaltyBeard when I’m trying to get into my false chords use a certain piece of a song mine is lamb of god or trying to imitate a dog bark works well for me
They said in an interview that they added some vocal overdubs, but she doesn't sound much different live. The Pisces theme fits the dual vocals perfectly. The sign of Pisces has 2 fish swimming in opposite directions, and this represents her internal conflict. She wants love ( "being hooked" ), but is "skittish" because of bad experiences she's had in the past at the hands of "callous men" and "handsome butchers". I take it "emeralds being ripped away" refers to her iridescent fish scales. One reactor said that her voice change reminded him of his ex-wife - before, and after marriage.
It actually says about the overdubs and such in the video description for Pisces (Very few people ever look at the "Show More" section of the description)
As others have said, for a studio music video, overdubs and touch ups are totally normal. You can hear the low parts kicking in and filling out out. But she’s every bit as great with growls live. Their set from Waken is just absolutely amazing.
Your face at 10:53 is the inspiration for songs like this. Everyone's felt a feeling that makes you scrunch your face with emotion, whether it's anger, despair, power etc. Metal channels that in music form. I think metal is lost on a lot of people who assume it's just noise for angry men. Jinjer's contrast between cleans and gutterals short cuircuits this because you get to see why the growls are used and how beautiful they can be. Anger and power have their place, and more people need to let theirs out in a healthy, productive way.
I have read, and the band has reiterated in interviews, that their method of composition is unique. For most of their tracks, the guys write pieces of music. They don’t yet have titles, lyrics or melodies. They present these pieces of music to Tatiana, who writes the lyrics, titles and determines the melodies and where/when she will transition from clean vocals to extreme and back. She writes deep and meaningful poetry. She does her own makeup and even makes many of her outfits. She is also a photographer, an artist (paint)... Simply amazing. The band members are all top notch musicians.
Thank you for your comment. Don't miss my new FUN reaction video to Jinjer that Premieres tomorrow. Set your reminder now and 'ring the bell' for notifications! 🤘💪🥰
Fun fact: I accidentally taught myself to make these noises while I was working as an actor at a haunted house in high school. At the time, I had never heard of singing like this 😆
For me it was the Nazgul in LoTR. To hit those high fries I had to build from the lower registers. Inhaling was actually easier at first. Then I learned to use that sharp exhale. Then I learned to alternate. Kept that scream going for a while. I ain't 19 anymore, and smoking doesn't help, but I can still pull off some screams well enough.
I missed most of the premiere so watching again. I've seen nearly every Jinjer reaction on YT, and yours might just be the very best of all of them. Kudos for checking out the lyrics and researching growling technique. :D Unfortunately, this video is only live-ish, with a lot of post-production editing. That said, I've seen them twice and Tatiana is amazing in concert. Perennial live at Wacken (pronounced "Vah-ken" cuz it is in Germany) is a great video showing what she can do on stage. It is the last song in the set and at the end Tatiana is obviously out of breath, but you wouldn't have known from her singing. Btw, Tati was inspired to sing metal by hearing another female growler Otep and being shocked when she found out that Otep is a woman. Now she's passing on that feeling to others. ;) Ghost Flowers from the Confrontation DVD is a good video by Otep. To put her growls into perspective, she spent 4 years practicing growls while singing with clean vocals in various bands before starting to perform with growls, she _says_ her growls were still terrible at that point and only got good after performing with growls for part of 2009 in another band before she was recruited to join Jinjer as the original vocalist was leaving. And then she's been performing with growls another decade after that and is steadily improving her technique constantly. Another legendary growler Randy Blythe was a classically trained singer who first tried growling as a joke but then started doing it professionally - he worked with Melissa Cross to perfect his technique and learn to protect his vocal cords too though. Tatiana's anger and frustration is heavily rooted in environmentalism, with a secondary focus on freedom of thought and expression, and antipathy toward authority and mass culture. About 2/3 of their songs have some kind of environmental, social, or political theme. Having grown up in the wake of the Soviet collapse, but also dealing with the entrenched Soviet culture and environmental destruction caused by that regime certainly plays into it. Tati also struggles with chronic depression, and that feeds into some of their songs like "Pisces", "Perennial", and "Pit Of Consciousness". Leaving everything behind when the fled the war burned their bridges behind them, so they had nothing left but the band and the imperative to succeed at all costs to give that sacrifice meaning. Since then they have been touring nearly constantly until the pandemic forced them to take an extended vacation. Their songs "I Want It I'll Get It", "When Two Empires Collide", and "Home Back" are about the war and having to leave their homes. If you are interested in a deep dive on who Tatiana is, there is an interview with her in Psychology Today that has an enormous amount of information about her as a person, musician, and about the band as well. It is quite sad to read, but she seems to be doing better these days since she's been dating (and now engaged to?) Alex Lopez, the drummer of another up-and-coming metal band called Suicide Silence. Though as a rule, relationships don't fix that stuff, at least it can hopefully make the struggle more bearable. p.s. cute lion emogi. She certainly roars. If you see a video of her at Wacken, she has a throat tattoo of the face of the mesoamerican dragon-god of wind and learning, Quetzalcoatl, and the throat chakra represents the power of communication so that seems appropriate.
You're so beautiful as a human being. I imagine space vessels discovering new galaxies and finding new habitats, people being responsible for their environment, governments that truly help their subjects, neighbours caring about their peers, I imagine so much more, and the inspiration is... just a few words coming from your mouth, and it's all it takes. Thank you. Now what the fuck does it have to do with music? Absolutely nothing. I came here for one thing and I'm leaving completely amazed by the fact that there are people like you still. Luck on your journey through this life.
That was undoubtfuly the most authentic reaction from Tatiana's fry vocal technique. It's amazing seeing you guys not so used to listen to guttural singing. Tatiana is amazing. I had to subscribe to your channel since I'm into all music genres and people talking about it, enjoying it, no preconceptions whatsoever, is fantastic. Glad to see more and more people discovering that music and art are not only about what they like to consume. Best regards and keep up with your videos.
I loved what you wrote. I'm a musician living in Finland and I'm also into all kinds of music. I especially liked when you wrote: "Glad to see more and more people discovering that music and art are not only about what they like to consume". Take care and I wish you have a wonderful day.
Healthy growls will happen in the false vocal folds (usually) at a fairly low volume and then resonate in the soft palette and nasal passage. Adjusting your mouth shape as well as the amount of tension in your cheeks will allow you to produce different pitches and tones. This is much different than adding some fry to your vocals which uses your true vocal folds. If you're doing it correctly, just as with singing, you should feel no pain and shouldn't feel worn out from it unless it's a lengthy set. Also 🦁
This is a re-recording of this song, which was actually done to show off their new drummer. The “doubling” is most likely the layering she did originally, and it was added to this session.
with the vocal doubling effect tatiana vocal training is so tight that the track she has her vocals in a slightly different pitch so it gives a cool effect (also imagine being comfortable enough that you know you are gonna hit every que and on pitch you could be your own background singer) she is absolutely amazing
Thank you for your comment. Don't miss my new FUN reaction video to Jinjer that Premieres tomorrow. Set your reminder now and 'ring the bell' for notifications! 🤘💪🥰
I don’t like songs that are all growl, so the way that Tatiana mixes real singing, and growling is a great contrast! The musicianship of the band is amazing!
If you look up the Pisces in Astrology, this song symbolizes it perfectly. The soft introvert on the outside and the intense personality held inside hardly ever revealed.
You should watch a live show of theirs and you'll be STUNNED by how this girl can pull off combining both vocal techniques with almost no effort. I am DYING to meet ANYONE who can impress me at the level Tatiana Shmailyuk did when I first listened to Jinjer. Also, I'd give an arm to have a singer like her in my studio
Two years later and Maggie has reacted to everything from Areon, Nightwish , Falling in Reverse to Archer Enemy. To quote Maggie "The talent is just so fascinating to watch". We are still watching you Maggie. Keep being you.
7:57 Bro her reaction🤣🤣🤣, she blinked and just sat there shocked, I like that kind of reaction because you're SOO shocked all you can do is sit there and stare because you have no words to describe what you saw or heard Also I'd be grabbing my jaw too if I had it dropped for 30 seconds
I really enjoy the fact that you actually show real interest in the music and even try to learn new techniques for yourself instead of simply pretending to know what your talking about all while "critiquing" other peoples work like I see a ton of these "Vocal Coaches" doing and your stuff is far better than that, you have integrity and that's hard to find anymore. Keep trying to learn, new techniques even if you fail your cute doing it and that just adds so much to your screen presence , a very endearing quality!
@@maggiereneemusic Very much so, I touched more on this on another video but I'm greatly enjoying your videos and can't wait to see more, especially the Metal.
Since you read about the band members, this video was to introduce the new drummer. They didn't tought in show only her technique, because she does that in many songs and used to do since her first song with the group. She does that live on stages in closed halls or open air.
I know I asked for this song and I know a bunch of other people did to and on behalf of all of us...we set you up sis. We knew you wasnt ready. 🤣🤣 great reaction keep up the good work! 👍👍

When I first heard this song I couldn't believe she could utilize her voice like that, it went from beautiful vocals straight to gollum from Lord of the Ring's, really good band and she's amazing.
This is one video where I think I speak for everyone when I say, we don't mind the pauses with trying to rap your head around Tatiana. 1000% self taught and she can't even explain how she does it because she has never had lessons.... Absolutely incredible...
It's probably worth noting that Tetiana worked on her vocal techniques for years before she decided she was "ready for primetime," as it were. The hard work paid off! Yes, there's an overdub, for added texture. They kept it "live" sounding by not dubbing growls on top of clean, or vice-versa, which happens in the original studio version. These dubs you can really make out some whispers under the clean at one point, and the way it showcases the types of growls and her range with them. Funny thing about the video, they shot it as a way to showcase their new drummer, but it's obviously exploded on the interwebs for other reasons. Every member of the band is pretty amazing at what they do.
This song has literally reaction after reaction in minutes! Also I recommend a band called Spiritbox. They also have a female vocalist and believe me, you're going to be either relaxed or moshing when you hear their song "Blessed Be".
The singer from Jinjer has never had any singing lessons, doesn't warm up before a concert. She has an amazing stage presence, and is really a great singer. Love and hugs from Australia

I'm a multiple-university trained composer/musician. My favorite parts (instrumental wise) of opera/orchestral works have always been overtures and finales; I love their potential for passion, excitement, and power. Same with a number of metal offshoots like Nu metal, rap metal, doom metal, etc. (especially Nu metal for me). Jinjer, which I recently discovered, has so much of that power that you speak of, that is inherent in this genre. ("Tati" is a delightful freak with stage presence on steroids.) I can't help but believe that if Wagner or R. Strauss were alive today, that they would really appreciate the power of this type of music. If you haven't already, I would check out the band Guerilla Warfare (more rap metal oriented). They have a great drummer as well, and he is the vocalist. They can take this dark power to another level, so be forewarned. Their song "Flesh N' Bone" is one such piece. It is expressionistic music noir!
I've probably watched over 200 reactions to them by now from other metal heads, poppers, hip hoppers and opera or classical and I'mma say that you are my ultimate favorite so far!! You're knowledge, fun with it and reaction were all great!
They don’t use any major effect during the “growls”. They do add a little amount of delay and reverb. When the song has doubled vocals they use a backing track for the second vocal. Same goes for guitar since there only one guitarist. Great video BTW

Teacher Teacher is one of my favourite tracks - theres one part where Tatiana switches partway through a word. That takes some serious skill and control!

Ahh, welcome to the world of gutteral screaming. Yes, this is 100% her real voice!
LOL! Thanks for the welcome! 😍
There's a bit of doubling on it tho but yeah. Genuine.
@@zorzevic Eh most bands use doubling to fill out their tracks. People are used to backing tracks now.
Especially in the growling sections, there are two vocal tracks, one lower pitched and one higher. That helps to give a more “demonic” sound. It’s a common vocal production technique in extreme metal
It's not her real voice. Fake AF.

Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope to see you tonight for my Premiere of a new reaction video to Falling in Reverse?
I also prefer the relaxed state for low and mid, but I struggle trying to do highs idk proper technique for doing highs. I always figures so long as it doesn't hurt or feel strained it's acceptable
The only way I can see ppl singing like that is if they let their inner demon possess their voice ... no offense... everyone of us has demon inside us ...including me
It's even funnier when you know they actually shot this video to show off the new drummer's skills and not Tatiana's.
😊
oh I was equally impressed by the whole band honestly.
Thank you very much!😁❤
As someone who joined the metal scene as a Goth at the age of 14, this is very true.

@@jamescurfman3284 I think it mostly depends on your style.
Vlad the drummer is the only trained musician in the band. Everyone else is self taught.
Thanks for the info! 😁
And it SHOWS. his technicallity is off the charts
If you don't mind, I'd like to correct that one a little bit: she had different teachers, and on the false fold technique, she happened to have the same teacher than Irina, the Ukrainian singer of of of my favorite French bands, Blazing War Machine.
And there's an obvious shift, for the better, in the song structure and composition after Vlad joined.
Eugene (bass) is absolutely incredible on his instrument.
"I was not expecting that." -- and that my dear, is the reason people love to request this video for first time reactions to singers and vocal coaches. Watching the reactions of people who have no idea what is coming is the most entertaining part.

After the first growl early in the song, my favorite part is at 22:20 when Tatiana let’s loose. So powerful!!!!

+1 for Diana Ankudinova, and also one day would like to see a reaction to Polinga Gagarina singing Kukushka from Singer 2019
is she really singing?
Even if it does take 10 minutes of fluff to get there.....

She absolutely sounds like that live. It's absurd how talented she is. English isn't even her second language and she writes pretty much everything in English.

When Tatiana’s voice gets tired from regular singing she switches to growls to give it a rest.
😁
Honestly I could believe that
PiousMoltar it’s true 🙂
Literally all the growls are double vocals. But thats nothing strange, very common when recording metal
As others have said, for a studio music video, overdubs and touch ups are totally normal. You can hear the low parts kicking in and filling out out.
But she’s every bit as great with growls live. Their set from Waken is just absolutely amazing.
well its in the title anyway, Live Session=/=Live but non-musicians don't usually know the difference :)

Yes, absolutely world-class all around. I am so glad they are together as a band! :)

I just got it naturally. Too bad I'm too much of a lame ass to do anything about it though.. 😔
@@ubergnu randy blythe from lamb of god has it naturally. He is considered of of the best to ever do it.
I hope the band appreciate your work here on the Toob #JinjerJeff!!

Thank you for your comment. Did you like my other video reactions to metal bands?
@@maggiereneemusic Very much so, I touched more on this on another video but I'm greatly enjoying your videos and can't wait to see more, especially the Metal.
Tati's voice is all natural.
A mix of growls, fries and all other such goodness.
"Something that's different and new.."
Everyone thats heard it "oh its different alright"
😊
Since you read about the band members, this video was to introduce the new drummer. They didn't tought in show only her technique, because she does that in many songs and used to do since her first song with the group. She does that live on stages in closed halls or open air.
I don't care how many times I see one of these reactions. When the last section kicks in, I get goosebumps from it. Love 'em
😊
The Dichotomy of her voice and the instrumentals to match make a fantastic voyage into sound.
This is her real voice she can growl without mic. JinJer is awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I asked for this song and I know a bunch of other people did to and on behalf of all of us...we set you up sis. We knew you wasnt ready. 🤣🤣 great reaction keep up the good work! 👍👍
Lol! Thanks! 😀
The shock didn’t disappoint
Lol! 😁
@@maggiereneemusic We try this with every new reactor on RUclips. Most of the time it works 🤣. But while we are collecting suggestions:
"Helvegen" by Wardruna, featuring Aurora. If you enjoy Heilung and The Hu, you might like Wardruna as well.
"Her voice sounds so pop-y"
Oh this is gonna be good
Best part about it - she wasn't wrong :)
Thanks for the info!😀
They're touring with Disturbed right now (2023).
This song has literally reaction after reaction in minutes! Also I recommend a band called Spiritbox. They also have a female vocalist and believe me, you're going to be either relaxed or moshing when you hear their song "Blessed Be".
Thank you for your comment. Did you like my new video reaction to Spiritbox I just posted?
"This band sounds chill"
Titiana: "Here....hold my beer"
😊
100% her. She learned to do it like the dudes and she killed that shit. Murdered them vocals. ^^😊
The singer from Jinjer has never had any singing lessons, doesn't warm up before a concert. She has an amazing stage presence, and is really a great singer. Love and hugs from Australia
she had a couple months of lessons in school as a kid
Thank you for your comment. Don't miss my new FUN reaction video to Jinjer that Premieres tomorrow. Set your reminder now and 'ring the bell' for notifications! 🤘💪🥰
@@maggiereneemusic I mostly just lurk, but you are one of the few I have notifications set for. :)
😍
@@maggiereneemusic there are many who don't believe Tati's growls are real. There are lots who say "well, it's a live session, so it must be real." There are a few who know how it works already. Therea are a few others who click over to a concert video for confirmation. But there's only one reactor who tried to learn to growl in the middle of their Pisces reaction. ;) \m/ \m/
They literally dropped a “real” live version of this song the other day. You should check that out. Also perennial at the same gig 👍🏻
She's incredibly beautiful. Love her accent and charm...
😀
I'm a multiple-university trained composer/musician. My favorite parts (instrumental wise) of opera/orchestral works have always been overtures and finales; I love their potential for passion, excitement, and power. Same with a number of metal offshoots like Nu metal, rap metal, doom metal, etc. (especially Nu metal for me). Jinjer, which I recently discovered, has so much of that power that you speak of, that is inherent in this genre. ("Tati" is a delightful freak with stage presence on steroids.) I can't help but believe that if Wagner or
Aww, so glad! Thank you for your lovely comment. Did you like my other video reactions to metal bands?
@@maggiereneemusic yes! I did, you're reactions to some of these bands that go from calm to thrashing around or low growl note is great 🤣
So glad!😍
They don’t use any major effect during the “growls”. They do add a little amount of delay and reverb. When the song has doubled vocals they use a backing track for the second vocal. Same goes for guitar since there only one guitarist. Great video BTW
"she's like a fierce lioness on the prowl" - I LOVE that description.
Thank you very much!😁❤
That was actually so goddamn sexy
She is a master ❤
