Hi I saw your video on James Brown funk with Carson Gant which you did last year on GuitarLessons and you spoke of how versatile the Dominant 9th shape was to not only James Brown's portfolio but also much of funk in general. I know how sliding around with that shape can put a lot of funky soul in your music too. It reminds me of this cute little tune called Doobie Wah that was the second track of Frampton Comes Alive 1975. In the bridge Peter uses that shape to lay the foundation for his guitar solo. He would start with D9, slide to Eb9 to E9, strum a few E9, slide from Eb9 quickly back to E9, then when he got to F9 he'd use his pinky to add a 13th and take it back off again before strumming a few more E9 and slide from Eb9 quickly back up to E9. Quite the funky little ditty.

Ok Ayla, that Pedal Steel at the end is just you flexing, admit it! Wonderful as always but then I have a major bias in your playing towards clean sounds which really show what an elegant player you actually are. Love hearing those notes and bends cone them fly away not unlike the way the BB vocals do on their most melancholy songs. Thanks for the magic!
Ayla, I've been a fan since I discovered you on RUclips when you were about 14. Lots of young guitarists can play the notes, but you have the expression, touch, polish, and technique of a mature performer. I've seen your progression over the years. I've been playing for more than 50 years, and when I watch you, I laugh at myself for what a waste of time it has been for me to laboriously rise so far to mediocre.

The noise.get a good sealed patch chord.I have gone thru monster cables.,silver seals.now,a moghame..very good.,,input jack on guitar.common cause.gently take it out,Phillips screw driver.and nut diver to tighten from out side.when out, bend metal contact spring in to make better tension.solar flares,,etc.magnetic interference.wall plugs.i use a rack mount..dsp 128.reduce reverb to 2 or three.4 or 5 is noisy.i like delay.range 4.840 to890.,milliseconds..on digitech.i use an alesis q 20.nice but digitech is so easy after years of editing.sometimes I add chorus.i make my programs from scratch.no need to store them. medium room or large room assimilation..adds tone!!! And sustain.also a Mesa boogie v twin.clean, blues,and lead gain.mesa boogie,13 tubes has two switches,,lead solo,clean rythm, top switch.orange to.modern,,,normal,,red to vintage,3 positions on bottom.its so versitle.another switch,, from tubes to sillcone diodes. The 150 watt head is very busy with knobs, switches and many inputs.4 twelve inch speakers..8 ohms.has 4 ohm and 16 ohm options.i love this amp.
