Thanks so much! I've loved your videos for a long time! It's amazing for Lunacid to be in one and highlighted so around other indie gems!
Going to buy your game just to fund the development. Gonna play on the full release. What a gem.
Your game looks stellar! I'll have to give it a try
Honestly i want to buy it, i believe i ll give it a try, it clearly stayed in my head after the video
Yo I thought your name sounded familiar! Lost in Vivo rules but I’ve never beaten it because it’s too scary!! Lunacid looks much more like my speed, can’t wait to check it out
Game looks amazing!
Hey Iron Pineapple! I'm one of the devs from Knights of the Deep! Thanks for playing our little humble game haha! Really appreciate the kind words. 💕🦀
🇧🇷?
Parabens mano, o jogo parece super divertido, sucesso pra caramba pra vocês, merecem mesmo
I honestly love it, it looks super fun, hope to see more from the team.
Jogo foda mano parabéns
Make more of it!!
Duel Corp. developers here. We just wanted to say that you made our dream come true. Thank you so much for trying out our (very early) second alpha build. It's really cool that you liked it, and we hope everyone who sees this likes it too. We're also really excited about the multiplayer co-op mode and can't wait to do a second playtest for it. As a two-man team, we're really excited to see what people think so we can make it even better!
Your game looks flipping cool! I immediately went to the store page to wishlist it, and I joined the playtest!
This is so cool, cant believe there is only 2 people behind it
Good luck you two!
I'm happy to see your game since I have watched it on Reddit.
Your game looks amazing!
This series started out as somewhat of a joke and by now it’s among my favorites on RUclips. Some of these little games really deserve the attention and even Pineapple‘s criticisms don’t come off derisive.
Love it!
It's so refreshing to come to a youtube channel that has next to no negativity. Pine genuinely wants these games to be good even if it's not for him.
to be honest, Steelrising's animations are top notch next-gen level. They are by far the best animations in every soulslike out there.
It's made by Spiders, the French studio responsible for Technomancer and Greedfall, among others... They have a neat little catalogue and certainly enough experience to breathe life to their worlds with this kind of really cool animations. It's just a shame that they never quite manage to get out of the middle ground AA league they're stuck in. I think it's due to the fact that they always have a lot of ambition, but never quite the budget to match.
@@Nasfelia Honestly, I'm kinda ok with that. Their games aren't always the most amazing but they have clear creativity and passion.
the movement and animation in steelrising reminds me so much of nier automata, i wonder if the whole humanoid robot theme is inspired by it as well
Reading the bad points of Steelrising reminds me of the bad points on Greedfall. Really interesting setting, a well-built base, but combat is a bit repetitive and story falls a bit flat. Overall fun still though.
@@Nasfelia Oh, that explains a lot. Both Technomancer and Greedfall are games with very good ideas drowned by pacing problems and good looking, but mediocre combat.
Guys pine has me locked in a cage and is forcing me to play more soulslikes I've never heard of(again). He says he'll only let me out if you buy his Merch and like the video! Help!
this is real
i kinda want the merch but i dont want him to release you... ahh the choices
😮
I'm wearing my mushroom bonk t-shirt right now 😅
Vaati is that you at 4:55?
Hard to believe we're on episode *19*
I know I haven't uploaded in a while, but I've been working on a few videos at once, and I'm aiming to finish a couple more over the next month.
Take your time 👑
considering this is a 1 hour vid and they'll probably be even better, its worth the wait
Don’t worry about it, we’ll happily wait till the end of times if it means another vid.
no worries! i love these videos so much i watch them two to three times and never get bored. so excited you posted, can't wait for whatever else you upload!
What they said ^
That triumphant "haha" at 27:11 before you got spirit bombed by a cosmic deer was perfect 😂
As me ol' granpappy used ta say:
"Talk shit, get hit."
I don't know if this is intended but I love the fact that in Lunacid you're never shown your player model so you might as well just be a floating hand as shown from the start, and it sure looks like it since you can only see a floating hand from your POV when playing. These are the kind of details I live for!
They cut the left han though so it's unlikely
@@mariobettencourt4101 No they didn't, if you notice the thumb position you can see it's the right hand. I went back to double check
@PokemonDragonair, the developer, has great humor. In the previous games from Akira, ppl would complain that they don't have a hand. All the weapons are just floating. So Akira answers that feedback and gave the players a hand, and only the hand. Well, we should have been more specific.
I think my favourite part about this series is the developers leaving comments. They're always so excited and happy.
as a developer myself one of the hardest part of making a game is getting people to notice it, so a series with a million views is absolutely surreal
I like that he seems really aware that his platform may be the biggest most of these games will see, and his critiques could potentially impact the developer's future, so he's careful with how he phrases things. Pine is a kind person.
Knights of the Deep genuinely looks like the most fun party game I’ve ever seen…
If they make a console release I’ll buy it. Playing split screen at a party or online seems like so much chaotic fun!
For sure
Knights of The Deep unironically looks hella good actually
i wanna play it honestly
Im very curious about it too ! Really love that quote : we want to make games fun, just like they used to be. Not worded like that but its what they meant. Really dig it
CRAB BATTLE🦀
@@avalonjustin they should license crab rave song and put it on during battles
I love how the crow NPC in Lunacid is named after singer Sheryl Crow. Simply fantastic.
Akira's ability to balance really interesting lore with silly shit is why he's one of my favorite in the indie scene right now.
also the spirit deer thing in the forest area is named Yakul just like Ashitaka's mount from Princess Mononoke
@@ronniewhitedx Silly shit just undermines any attempts at more serious world building imo. There's no balance to it.
@@nikitas1841 actually think the silly shit adds more mystique to the entire situation. It's like the same reason I like the souls games and like hollow Knight and shit like that. Agree to disagree.
and the skeleton named "Clive" after Clive Barker
"Sorry, its for science, i needed to know if you could die" is the most psychopathic thing i've ever heard 10/10
Some of these actually look legit. Duel Corp actually looks like they put a lot of time and love into it.
Duel Corp looks really fun honestly.
That first one was absolutely magnificent with the boulder just chasing you up the hill.
Couldn’t stop laughin😂
Plz don’t ever let this series end! 💯
If it ends I'll kill scott
Fr
I mean considering the amount of games technically speaking it will never end
Fr fr I look forward to these as much as I do Ssethtzeentach's videos
I don’t think the souls-like games will never end so good job security
"omg it's death! ... HE CAN GO THROUGH WALLS!"
Any game that can get you to say this out loud was worth the time to make. Not sure how I missed this set a couple months ago but always a treat!
I just gotta say I love your feedback. You are always thoughtful and never just rip on a game. I respect the time you take to give helpful feedback to the devs. I am binge watching this series because i find it interesting and i like the sound of your voice. I don't play dark souls but i like to watch others play it. Keep using your passion for good games to help others 👍
So true. I wanna make games & this criticism is very constructive.
Lunacid looked so incredibly interesting, thanks for showing us this gem
ye. it looks far better then i was expecting.
I will definetly buy it once it comes out!
@@jani1848 same, the whole vibe of this game really won me over! ^^
@@jani1848 at £6.99 I think I'm going to buy it now to support the developer and so I don't forget later! But I will wait to play it.
I've been one of the people harrassing pineaplle with recommendations of this game. It is currently in a reasonably and enjoyably playable state. Not something I'd go back to further complete, but certainly I've gotten my worth from the 6 or so euros I paid. Definitely recommend it even as-is.
Tips:
1-dexterity op. Best weapon is the staff and it scales off dex. Also helps you explore better.
2-if you get stuck in the first area, you gotta BUY THE KEY off the merchant in not-firelink.
3-undead has obscene resistances and makes otherwise debilitating afflictions into a joke. The only area that is dangerous is the library. So far.
4-this should go unsaid but upgrade your weapons. If something's maxed out and you're not hardstuck, don't waste that xp. You may like what you currently got but you'll LOVE what you get later on.
I was instantly sold on Lunacid. It reminds me a lot of games from the mid 00s, with the attention to detail and physics implementation, plus the art style is beautiful
I also bought it before the video was even over. The detail to the snail hit locations won me over.
Right?! I’m going to buy it as soon as I get home. It looks like everything I wished King’s Field was.
Kingsfieldlike becoming a genre - have we gone too far, or have we finally gone far enough?
It looks like games from 1996 to 1998 not the mid 2000s.
that intro cinematic hooked me immediately!
the fact that "Sheryl the crow" says "what a mess youve been caught up in" is such a beautiful Bloodborne reference
Thank you for introducing me to Lunacid, its amazing
I am fascinated at just how much work went into high-quality crustacean animations that are distinct for each sea creature.
This may not be the place, but no matter what time or where I am, It's time for me to be controversial again.
So I've been thinking a lot about mortality this week. I've been contemplating how to say this, but I haven't found an easier way to put this than to get brutally honest. If the churches have become too soft to call out sin for what it is and share the truth; then l'll tell you what God’s word says about it.
Some of you have 50 years left on this earth, some 60, some maybe 70. In 100 years you will all be dead. Where do you stand this day? Are you so preoccupied building up treasures on earth, lying, cheating, are you power hungry, living an unholy life of sexual sin or sexual perversion? We've all sinned and fallen short of what it takes to enter paradise on our own accord.
We require a saviour, and there's only one way to salvation. It's through the Lord Jesus Christ.
So let's look at what the Bible says about it.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
John 3:16-18 NIV
So understand that you will stand before the Lord and will give an account for your sins. Good works will not save you, and you can't rely on purgatory to redeem you from death because that does not exist. Hell is real and it is eternal! There is no such thing as annihilation in the grave.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
So if you needed to hear this today, don't delay turning to the Lord. Don't wait another day, because you could die tomorrow and then you will stand before the Lord and have to give an account for your sins. If you haven't given your life to him he will say:
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Matthew 7:23 NIV
There's only ONE gospel, and only ONE way to receive salvation from your sins. If you haven't asked the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart then please don't delay it any more. I'm here to pray with you and lead you to the Lord Jesus Christ.
It isn't enough to just pray a simple prayer; the Lord wants you to surrender yourself to him; turning from your sin, giving up that relationship that's hindering you, to stop visiting that website, stop hanging out with those people that cause you to stumble. We are called to stop living in sin, and if you don't know what sin is, then read the Gospels and the Ten Commandments. Immerse yourself in God's word!
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Hebrews 4:12-13 NKJV
Don't delay your decision, thinking I'll repent another day because I enjoy my life as it is. I hope you take it seriously and examine yourself and ask yourself who/what you really put your faith in!
Love you all,
Michael

Same!

The art in Lunacid looks so good!
Duel Corp will be something to keep an eye on. Steelrising is a game that you hope does well because the developers got a TON of experience making it, and their next game would be a level above.
Unfortunately with Steelrising as with a lot of AA games it didn't do very well. The game unfortunately didn't even sell 1/5 of the copies of their last game Greedfall on Steam, and I somehow doubt the console numbers are any better given the poultry amount of Metacritic user ratings. It's pretty sad that hands-down their best game sold significantly worse than all 3 of their previous ones, but I guess many people simply don't feel the need for it when they've already got Elden Ring.
The best part about Knights of the Deep is how weirdly excellent the models and animations are. Like someone with some considerable talent put some considerable time in on them.
It feels like every new entry in this series is less about finding souls likes and more like pine just showing off games he finds cool on steam. I love it 😂
The amount of skill and knowledge to make just a simple game is actually insane. There's coding, 3d modeling, animation, texturing, sound/music design, story boarding, and concept art. All of these things use different programs and secondary programs. I'm currently learning to make games and it just blows my mind how much stuff really goes into it.
Lunacid has been on my wishlist ever since Secret Sleepover Society played it. The vibes were just to good to ignore
Literally putting Lunacid in my wishlist right now. It looks sooooo good!
It's honestly a gem. The aesthetic and tons of exploration/creatures makes it well worth the $7! Would highly recommend.
I'm going to get it right now
As someone who has worked in creative industries, I love these videos - it just feels so genuine and honest. It's the type of feedback I like to give and the best type of feedback to receive. Not malicious, just thoughtful and honest.
Boulder, The Unstoppable Force is without a doubt the strongest soulslike boss. You can never defeat it, you can only run from it and it will never stop chasing you until you’ll either get crushed by its incredible power or decide to move from its way, hiding like a coward that is no longer worthy of Boulder’s time
after playing the shady knight demo I cannot get enough, so excited for whenever that releases. Apparently it's mostly a solo project
Lunacid seems like a fucking awesome game. Also, believe it or not, Gun axes are actually historically accurate weapons.
They were used from 16th century to 18th century. They were basically the signature weapon of polish Cavalry and they were also used as boarding axes in other parts of the world.
That’s pretty cool
Lunacid is great I played a ton of it
In Lunacid there‘s a subtle reference to princes mononoke. The deer with the freaky textures is called yakul, referrencing Ashitaka’s mount and the rabbit is called kodama like the little forest spirits.
And Sheryl the crow. Odd but nice references
yessirr
Wondered if anyone one else got those
Such a beautiful movie..all of they're work really
Miyazaki meets Miyazaki lmao
i absolutely love shady knight. that game is so sick, if you kick a weapon on the ground it pops up slightly and you can kick it midair to shoot it at an enemy its so fun
I bought Lunacid yesterday, and it's been quite enjoyable. I love the old style graphics, reminde me of younger simpler days. Plus the exploration and secret hunting scratches a couple good itches in my monkey brain.
You’ve really grown as a reviewer, your critiques are clear and incisive and I feel like you meet games where they are given cost/developers
Always a joy to watch
agreed
@@Karlach_ The boulder did not, in fact, take an issue with that comment!
I would LOVE a follow up series where you re-review some of the games from earlier videos to see how they've done out of early access
That would be cool as hell.
Steel Rising's enemy design purely on looks may be one of the coolest and most interesting I've ever seen.
I mean that Forge robot looked insane and I'm a huge fan of those attacks I saw and how they made use of the setting so well. They could've just made it a robot that swings a hammer with his hand and called it a day and that would've been fine. But instead making him forge something as an aoe attack and making the hammer spin from his midsection was so interesting, I loved watching it.
Watching Seraphine getting launched by that boulder over and over was pretty great.
Ok but THE GUILLOTINE ENEMY in Steelrising made my jaw drop so hard I can’t even begin to explain how creative and amazing is that character design, like you said the artist working on that game deserve a ton of credit. So impressed.
Yeah that's one game I want to eventually get just to look at the enemy designs. (I guess I could watch a playthrough but I want to reward their work with a buy)
@@simonisenberg4516 Unfortunately it's super expensive.
@@catbert7 I'm a patient gamer, i can wait till it's below 12$ on some sale in a year. It will probably just rot on my pile of shame anyway.
its too bad they only put creativity into like 9 of 10 enemies and then constantly recycled them through the entire game....The game starts out OK, but it drags on for so long it becomes pretty bad.
Kinda mid tbh
Lunacid, Shady Knight, and Steel Rising all looked incredible.
Steel Rising is fun, beat it once.
But there's a mechanic that, unless you use a guide, will lock you out of the "good" ending.
Steelrising was absolutely a fantastic game, nice weapon types and cool mechanics that make combat pretty fun.
@@treysandbothe3748 What mechanic? Endings depend on dialogue choices/side quest done and tbh, none of them are really good or bad.
@Shado2025 light spoiler warning.
This world is based on a loose understanding of Alchemical science.
According to this, the Soul is actually an elemental compound, and it's these Souls that are used to power the automatons.
In order to get the true ending, you must find all the peices of a fractured Soul before heading to the final level, otherwise you get a variation of the "bad" ending.
@Shado2025 I should add that your Right, none are objectively "good" or "bad", but there's one where you can save almost everyone.
I really like this guy not only cause the soulsborne games are all time my favorite but he really takes his time to play these and legitimately review them keep going friend cause imma keep watching
The bird game is interesting because there's really just those enemy encounters dotted around, and the bird mode needs to be meaningfully different from just selecting which encounter to play in a menu.
32:03 "I think the better question is: who cares"
Yes, yes! Just feed us more indie and unexplored titles. We'll be here watching.
THIS. So much this. This series has given me games to recommend to multiple friends, some who don't even play standard soulslikes, and it's so heartwarming to see indie devs get a spotlight.
It just annoys me that he markets those videos as playing souls-likes. Not only it's not entirely true but also it keeps him from exploring games that are nothing like souls-like.
@@micryt. it doesn't keep him, it's clearly going in that direction.
It started like that because it made sense for a series of reasons, and now the series it's going towards its natural direction.
So, all's well that ends well
@@Jhost90 He explores different games but at the end of the day, they have to be combat focused games if the title is going to be "souls-like". He will not try a point-and-click adventure game for example. I'm just waiting for the day he drops that from the title.
@@micryt. he explores what resonates with his professional style and experience.
I'm sure there are plenty of soccer games to review as well but these genres are what Iron as a professional has always explored.
Stop asking to content creators you like to be "everything": they do their thing, and if they leave room for others to come in and explore similar concepts and contents which they did not cover that's for the best, not the worse.
Holy crap, Duel Corp looks so good visual wise, god damn. I wanted that artstyle out of something like Octopath Traveller.
I wish more games would use Octopath's 2.5D pixel art style as it's my favorite
Came across your channel while looking for more info on Lunacid. Really like this series, and has actually turned my attention to a bunch of other games I had no idea about (Nine Sols in particular has piqued my interest). It's also really nice to see such a positive spin on the more flawed games. A nice dose of positivity.

What I really like about your videos is that you're always very positive, and even when you don't enjoy a game you still make constructive criticism, acknowledge what worked, and wish the devs good luck. This sort of wholesomeness is needed way more in the gaming community!
I had no idea Lunacid existed. I absolutely love Thorhighheels (his music and his videos) and I didn't even consider a sort of dark comedy/fantasy kings quest tribute could work so well, especially with Nomura's music!
My man, if you ever run out of games for this series (provided you aren’t just tired of it, which is totally fair, please don’t push yourself) you gotta do it for other genres. The way you deliver the commentary, gameplay and stuff is pretty neat!

Been watching this series for the past few years and all I can say is thank you! I've discovered so many awesome games that I might've missed if it wasn't for these videos! Recently picked up Lunacid and, while I'll wait until it leaves early access, it looks so amazing that it deserves to be supported!
You definitely made me add a few games to my list. Looking forward to start playing them soon.
Ravenbound looks like the flying mechanic is more fun than the entire game
basically the new hogwarts
Yeah I was thinking that too, the flying actually looked pretty fun on its own with a good sense of momentum and speed. The devs should make a game centered around being a bird flying around doing bird stuff. Hell make it a survival game where you have to hunt animals for food and make nests to survive each night. Could be cool.
@@augustday9483 I feel like I played a game like that when I was younger, but it was a spirit or something trying to get to the afterlife... I think?...
But yeah, I like the Idea of a survival game like that! Your comment reminded me of a game called "Sheltered" (I think that's what it's called. It was a low poly game, the second game was with lynxes.) and the other being a lot more story oriented "Endling".

I really appreciate that sort of thing and you have no idea how excited I got to see that this dropped, even if it’s 11 days late! You got me through the hard times, so thank you Mr. Pineapple!
Lunacid looks so amazing. Really glad you highlighted it or I never would have known! For sure adding to wish list for full release 🤝
I watched someone stream a few hours of Lunacid a while back. It's so atmospheric and a fantastic callback to old classics while providing something new.

Keep it up and than kyou! :)
These videos help me find so many new games to wishlist and I am so here for it. You rock!
I honestly can't believe that this series is still as interesting as it is. I've found two so far I would be interested in playing. Lunacid and Steelrising.
We need a revisit episode in some of the previous alphas you have played and are now full games , it would be really fun for long time viewers of your series. Keep it up
Yeah definitely needs a re-review show for any of the games that have now been released or significantly updated. A bunch of the ones from his first episodes are in full release nowadays
A neat fact about Lunacid: If you level your resistance to and above 100, you get passive MP regeneration. This isn't mentioned in the game anywhere, and it's the only stat that has a bonus like that (100 dex used to give you air control, but this was made default).
My friends always ask me "how do you find all these unusual games?" and I credit channels like yours. I appreciate you doing these reviews because they really help me decide if i should buy the games or not. Just looking at them in Steam doesn't really help give me the confidence to pull the trigger.
Love you videos! Thank you for continuing this series have seen them all and have played a lot of the recommended games!!
one thing I have to say about Steel Rising is, those enemy designs (especially the bosses you showed) look absolutely SICK
The game itself is actually pretty good too. It's quite janky and the map design is absolute maze, but it's fun in its own way. Something about gearpunk in french revolution setting is so fascinating.

My thoughts exactly. Their movements are very fluid, but also robot-ish. Like the next version of clockwork soldiers from Dishonored 2.
you should try out the game, I finished it recently and I second Iron's views, it has its issues, but the core gamplay is really fun. Just wait for a sale, though, it's a bit overpriced for what it is

Ravenbound looks super cool tbh, it sounds like open world isn't really your thing but as someone who loves those games the "emptiness" is part of it, what makes or breaks it is how the emptiness is treated. The enviornment looks incredible to just walk around in, and being able to fly through it too is a great mechanic.
There’s examples of good “empty” open worlds, this one just doesn’t work. Far Cry 3 and 2 can be considered fairly empty with camps and towns scattered in between wildlife. it’s what they put in said wildlife. Ravenbound doesn’t have any meaningful encounters outside of these select bandit camps, so the basic gameplay loop is “do camp, fly over world until i see another camp, and do that until i can fight a dungeon”.
@@ethanbaileylol2283yeah the game had me thinking of the newer assassins creed games which i enjoyed but even then there’s enough random encounters and secrets to stumble across that it’s not as empty as ravenbound or something like andromeda
honestly looks like it would work better as a story driven RPG, and not a roguelike
The fact people defend shitty open world designs by saying "that's the genre" when good open world games that aren't empty, meaningless, and unrewarding wallpapers exist is crazy to me every time I read it. Thanks for the laugh.
@@ca4brandon378 take your cynicism elsewhere, people can enjoy what they want to enjoy and while it’s alright to have a laugh commenting this elitist bullshit is just sorry
lunacid looks so amazing I couldn't resist instantly buying it when I saw it, thank you for letting me discover this
I can’t name a better series on RUclips to be honest. Everytime these come out I want to stop everything I’m doing and just invest my self in the video.
It’s so god damn good. Thanks for these (:
Unironically my favorite ongoing video series on RUclips.
Unhumorously my most enjoyed video saga on RUclips.
@@swansong5960 unsarcastically my favorite currently running RUclips series on video games
@@questionsayer unfathomable one of my favorite comments on RUclips
i really like that you include games similar to king's field in these videos because i would've never known about these otherwise and i'm obsessed with them
Trad Open World rogue likes are a thing, and are super in depth with myriad mechanics etc. For an action rogue like, especially one with 3D, high res graphics, it'd take so much to implement it's no wonder a small indie dev couldn't quite fully realize things. Dwarf Fortress adventure mode, Tangledeep, Tales of Taj'Eyal, Ancient Domains of Mystery etc all come to mind, but are turn based games with 2D art styles.
This series is so good. I hope it never ends.
Durn right.
Develop your Owen souls like then

Shady Knight's weapon system reminds me a LOT of how it works in SUPERHOT and I loved that in SUPERHOT. That mixed with a movement shooter is definitely something I GOTTA play.
it feels like superhot dmc- really good time
so many of these games looked amazing!! thanks for highlighting them...especially Lunacid!!!
The animation in the beginning is just *perfection*
i got lunacid because of you and it's the most fun i've had in ages, thanks dad
play kings field IV next
God I wish I had a PC so bad
Lunacid was some of the most fun I've had with an EA indie in a long time when I played through it all at the start of the year. The music, especially the song Dead Department, is the perfect amount of ambience and real melodies and beats for the type of game it is
I'd suggest checking out Dread Delusion as well
@@loblegonst That game looks more like Morrowind than King's Field to me.
I seriously love the hype you bring to fellow game deva my favorite videos to watch
I'm in the middle of my first playthrough of Dark Souls (Sekiro was my first FromSoft game), and it's led me to discover your channel for other games to check out. The series has been great. But it's... terrifying that the longer this goes on, the higher the number of results on the Steam search bar gets during the intros. People are just pumping these out left and right at a wicked pace.
Hoo lord. Steelrising definitely took some inspiration from NieR Automata as well, especially with the acrobatic combo animations. Looks like it might have some of that middle market jank, but the creativity on display is kinda selling me on it.
I believe the acrobatic nature of Aegis' moves is because she is designed to be a dancing automaton.
Yes It's back lets go! If you play all 1452 souls-like games on steam you deserve some medal of honor or something cause that would be insnane!
Lunacid is such a cool game, it feels and plays like King's Field while also polishing a lot of the mechanics and adding new ones
Okay, I have officially watched all of these Steam Dumpster Diving episodes. Found a few games to try. I kind of wish Monomyth will come out, because there are so many elements of it that I love.
Duel Corp and Lunacid really had a good vibe to them, I mean I could see myself getting immersed into that retro style looking environment I hope they both get further development. Shady knight has some great potential because of that crazy ass movement that a lot of people love in games and finally that French Revolution game with robots seems pretty cool but like you said I feel like they should balance it a little more and polish it a bit and it's gonna be a pretty cool game. Overall good video thank you for spending time and money showing these games!
Haven't watched the vid yet but just wanted to say there is literally no type of video that gets me as excited when I see it in my notifications as this series. You knock it out of the park every single time
