@@Joaquin-rd3km as someone who played a lot of bt3 and went through the entire roster as a kid you had kid gohan, potential unlocked kid gohan, teen gohan (ssj1 and ssj2), adult gohan (ssj1, ssj2, ultimate) and great saiyaman. Then they'll probably have to add the super forms (which im not familar with). The issue is the wat they did Goku and Vegeta you have early, mid, and late versions of them, you have their fusions, you have their great ape forms and you have King Vegeta who is just a Vegeta skin. Goku also had kid Goku and Goku GT which gave him access to ssj4, which I wonder if it will be in this game 🤔. I also about niche characters like Devilman, General Blue, Pilaf, and Arale making it too.
i know with knowing how powerful Beerus is and whis is just that much stronger than Berrus is crazy in my eyes.. i really hope we get to see whis get serious sometime in the series
The Future Trunks segment really set the level of how beautiful this game is. The cel-shading, the enormous, highly-detailed, and atmospheric environments, the tone of that level, and even an accurate Future Gohan. It’s all a visual feast, and it’s amazing how close it is to the source. Hopefully we get a ton of outfits.

Basically if you do a counter stance immediately before the enemy starts their regular rush attacks, or if you do it while blocking rush attacks, you'll do that sequence of dodging all their attacks and counterattacking. It felt VERY satisfying in BT3 (especially against Burter) and it looks just as spicy in Sparking Zero
Loved the spotlight on Roshi, Yamcha and Krillen. Considering how many masters Goku has had, Yamcha and Krillen are more of Roshis than anyone else. They did train with Kami, and Yamcha also had King Ki briefly, but they are a great characters to use for this trailer!!

I can't even begin to describe how happy I was to see Future Gohan, and without an arm! This was my favorite character to play as in BT3, I'm so hyped for this game!!
I love that it seems to be showing off a lot of cinematic moves in the game, which was always what I loved about the BT series as it went on. The more characters can get their own cool individual rush moves and the like, the better.
Dragon Ball is one of the few anime franchises that have really good videogames. I believe many people can truly enjoy these games even if they don't watch anime.
They were the ones to really start it off, so they have always been good at it and did not need too much experimentation to make a good game, aside from a few. They just need to work on finer details and to focus on what the people want
Actually true. I think the Dragonball Mangas and Anime are absolute trash. But the games are bangers. I have spend so many hours in Xenoverse 1 & 2 and the Tenkaichi series. The games are just simple fun.

Foreal I would play hundreds of matchups just to see bardock vs king vegeta, Broly vs freiza, trunks vs gohan, Majin vegeta vs ssj3 goku, raditz vs nappa, gogeta vs gotenks, great apes vs frieza force, king cold vs cooler, adult gohan vs recoome. Man those were some good times.

I'm still playing Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 2 & 3 via PS2 Emulator at 4K on PC, just getting my nostalgic memories back meanwhile waiting for this masterpiece!! My KI is going over nine thousand, can't wait for this ❤🔥

The fact they have trunk timeline Gohan missing his arm in gameplay is amazing, I don't know why most games with him have him using one arm for his moves but he still has both. Really hyped for this game, this and elden ring dlc will consume my life
While censorship may be a factor, another factor is that they would've had to make a unique character skeleton just for Future Gohan, which most devs probably wouldn't want to do.

Having been confirmed by producer Jun Furutani himself, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will not feature a split-screen cooperative mode, something that has always been present in Budokai Tenkaichi, allowing players to sit side by side. According to the producer, the team would like to add the split-screen option, but due to complications with both Sony and Microsoft's policies, it was not possible. However, Furutani states that he is still trying to find a solution, so he does not completely rule out the possibility.

This game just keeps looking FRESH. The characters are fine, but I'm more focused on the stage design. The destroyed future city has never looked better.
Why would that be a sign we're getting 2v2? They've always had tag team ultimate and/or super moves in the Budokai series. Doesn't mean it would also be during any other time. in fact they have that one specific combo attack where it ends with them spamming energy blasts from above in just about all of them, because that how they killed future gohan, so don't hold your breath
@ssickhead1 I don't think 2v2 battles are that outside the scope of field considering how many dragon ball games have it. This game having it would be a huge advantage to it considering it's only going to have online co-op

I have been waiting for this game since i was in 5th grade 2008 best game o all time so happy this generation finally gets a tenkachi game I've dreamed about this for decades now
I hope so. Been supporting Xenoverse's DLC's day one every time and we blew their expectations out of the water with the expected lifetime for that game. Hopefully they realize that Sparking has just as much or more potential for longevity via character polls and content updates 🤞

I'm hoping this means the character reactions based on who is fighting are back too. That was always the coolest thing with the budokai and tenkaichi series to me. Seeing what they would say to each other depending on who you had chosen to fight
Foreal I would play hundreds of matchups just to see bardock vs king vegeta, Broly vs freiza, trunks vs gohan, Majin vegeta vs ssj3 goku, raditz vs nappa, gogeta vs gotenks, great apes vs frieza force, king cold vs cooler, adult gohan vs recoome. Man those were some good times.

While censorship may be a factor, another factor is that they would've had to make a unique character skeleton just for Future Gohan, which most devs probably wouldn't want to do.

Having been confirmed by producer Jun Furutani himself, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will not feature a split-screen cooperative mode, something that has always been present in Budokai Tenkaichi, allowing players to sit side by side.
According to the producer, the team would like to add the split-screen option, but due to complications with both Sony and Microsoft's policies, it was not possible. However, Furutani states that he is still trying to find a solution, so he does not completely rule out the possibility.

Why would that be a sign we're getting 2v2? They've always had tag team ultimate and/or super moves in the Budokai series. Doesn't mean it would also be during any other time. in fact they have that one specific combo attack where it ends with them spamming energy blasts from above in just about all of them, because that how they killed future gohan, so don't hold your breath
@ssickhead1 I don't think 2v2 battles are that outside the scope of field considering how many dragon ball games have it. This game having it would be a huge advantage to it considering it's only going to have online co-op

I have been waiting for this game since i was in 5th grade 2008 best game o all time so happy this generation finally gets a tenkachi game I've dreamed about this for decades now
i already see it coming, being the game with the most DLCs Characters to ever have in Human History
I hope so. Been supporting Xenoverse's DLC's day one every time and we blew their expectations out of the water with the expected lifetime for that game. Hopefully they realize that Sparking has just as much or more potential for longevity via character polls and content updates 🤞
