Love the background music, Jon! :) Keep going strong. As for the studio headphones, I use a cheap pair which is called PreSonus HD7.
I often use my classic HD25II for mixing and since a few years my Sennheiser Momentum. Love them so much. Sure will try those DT770. I heard a lot of good reviews on it. Btw nice track in the background.

Nice video, Jon. I personally love headphones, for casual listening and for music production. I live in a house with roommates, so I can't use my speakers in late hours (I'm a night owl) Instead I use my headphones with a dedicated 24-bit/192kHz pre-amp. I usually take my open ear headphones and sometimes the good old Sennheiser HD 25 ii. What I always do when I finished a track, is to listen back to it the next day on different sources, like in ear headphones, consumer headphones (JBL and Behringer) , stereo equipment, smartphone speaker and if I've got the chance also in a car. I have German roots in my family and I am very content with German brands in particular. I also live just over the border with Germany in The Netherlands (I can take the bike and 30 minutes later I'm in nearby places) It is very handy, seen the fact that many products are a lot cheaper in Germany. And the quality is good (also for groceries from the supermarket!) Have a good day and keep up the good work!

Yo luv the vids but you really should try the avantone mixphones best hands down only flaw is low end not good with bass but good for telling if you volume of bass is good thats all with the bass plus u can switch to and from stereo and mono

I don't know I'm sure every pop song get's mixed properly in a big study at the end

You see, I'm thinking about studying music production (i wanna get into music similar to cheat codes, galantis, jonas blue. etc.). and I have song ideas, but i have no idea how to turn them into notes. I have zero knowledge about music in terms of making one (I looove listening to music). I have no access to music school/courses. All I have with me is my internet, computer, and headphones. So where do I start?

They look absolutely identical to the behringer HLC 660M. So identical i think it's thebsamebthing same factory but with a mic as a bonus

I have DT770 pro 250ohm...luv em, amazing headphones.
Before i had MAudio studiophile Q40... not bad , but miles away from Beyer
D3M190Dzz I use it with Focusrite scarlett solo usb powered sound card and it sounds clear and loud enough to work with them. i think amped out is must for this headphones. i bet it would sound better with quality non usb powered sound card, but i havent had chance to test it yet.
I have a scarlett 18i8 2nd gen, do you think I will need an amp headphone to use the dt770 Pro 250 Ohm, I really want to try the Beyerdynamic.

hey headphones lovers xD i have some old studio headphones i think they are 20 years old maybe even older... but the quality of the sound even today is perfect and clear!!...but i have a problem i cant find any pic on net or anything about those...the brand is ITS and on your left&right headphone i have 2 little bars and i can pull them down or up they are for bass and min max vol...and thats all about them and they are full black leather... PLS help mee if u are familliar with the ITS headphones...

if you made everything there is nothing legal you have to check upfront. just find a label they will take care of everything

There is absolutely no information bill of 200Hz and above 6khz. You will not hear a mid bass even if you do a boost 15db low shelf with these. They are advertised as extended bass which is the saddest joke ever. But they are good for checking mid range such as Auratones. They are very two-dimensional and harsh. Surprisingly well built for the price. But do not buy these headphones.

these superlux are garbage sounds too thin and sterile...the other superluxes are quite good...but these are horrible. i have a pair...there in a box
