    I've owned a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M20X for over 1 year and it's still my go to studio headphone. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants an excellent sound for the fraction of the price of pro headphones. Something I would love from them though is a removable cable as the headphone jack on mine has been damaged (my fault, not theirs) and sometimes takes some time to get a clear signal through. Apart from that tiny issue they're the best budget headphones out there in my opinion 👍

      I also got them, and tested with both mobile phones/ laptop integrated DACs and external ones with Cirrus Logic and Realtek chips, and i found it having great performance in high, highest, mid, and the lowest frequencies!) The provide great details and a wide scene for like up to 6 - 8 different instruments all around it to be heard completely separately but like in right place. The only bad thind i found in them is the low ("bass") part of frequency, because it loses the control, reducing the amount of correctly listenable instruments to 3 - 4 in the opposite sides and it simply feels cheap and breaking(()(/ Awy, the sound is soooo goood, i just like them really much, but here is the thing they're not for the music i mostly like to listen *cry* *cry* .. . But the music production (not popular ones that is just a "bass" groove) and vocal/ record flaws listening and searching for - is possibly the best option for the money it asks))9

    This is list is great for close backs, but if you are looking to get headphones for streaming, i recommend the Superlux HD668B/Samson SR850. They are open back, so they are optimized for quieter rooms. Due to being open backs, they sound better and are easier to wear for longer.

    Big up for OneOdio - best pair of headphones I have owned, lasted around 3 years of heavy (5-10hr daily, rain sweat or shine). Best sound I've heard from anything under 100$, at least in mid-late 2010s when I was shopping for them.
    What finally killed them was connection issues between the aux and the inside of the headphones, first the large jack died , then about 6mo later the normal aux began failing as well. Gonna try to fix it but at 30 i suspect ill just buy another.

      Just received a new pair of these headphones, from same seller/item page on amazon. They have changed ergonomically from the pair I bought in 2018. They fit much more tightly on my head, and require me to extend the arms on both sides to near maximum length to wear properly, and even still feel a bit tighter than I would prefer. I did not need to extend the arms on my first pair unless I was fitting them over a hat/shirt I was wearing underneath them. I suspect the tightness will subside with use, but they definitely seem less comfortable overall.
      Sound quality has also changed somewhat, the low end (bass) has become more pronounced, The mids and lows are still there, but the balance has shifted slightly from where it should be, in my opinion. They are new, and will require awhile to truly break in, but I suspect even after they are broken in, they will be slightly less good for audio engineering than the 2018 pair was.
      With that said, they still sound incredibly good even fresh out of the box, and for 30$ I have no buyers remorse. Only time will tell if they are as durable as my last pair proved to be, but nothing design wise strikes me as being lower quality so I suspect they will last awhile. I would still highly recommend these to anyone on the fence.

      Good for music production? My budget is low

    • @coreysayre1376
      @coreysayre1376 2 года назад +6

      @@ProjektAMusic the current one odio headphones are balanced slightly in favor of bass. Also the both tthe large jack/cable and the standard jack/cable that came with the new pair I purchased last month are both starting to have issues, the large jack is already unusable unless I can rewire it. The headphones themselves are holding up well, but they too seem a bit smaller, and perhaps lower quality than my original pair.
      All in all, it was still a fantastic value for 30$, and they do sound very good still, but with the balance not being as true I hesitate to recommend it if the focus is on production first. I do use mine to produce still, and they are great for listening to music and playing games, but I would consider purchasing the audio technica for the truer sound. if you are going to be doing a fair amount gaming or listening to music with them I think overall I still would lean toward the one odio.
      I dont know what the deal is with the aux cords this time around, but they dont look or feel any cheaper than my original ones that lasted 3 years along with the headphones. but just beware that it is possible that the aux cords may need to be upgraded if you do decide to buy them

      @@redisprocrastinating I have 2 PC and so 2 different audio card and on the newer(with better audio card) they sound pretty good, but yea I think the "noise leakage" is cause they are what they(industry) call open headphones, if you see the fluffy part do not model on your ear and for that are called "open", for delete that you have to buy or in-hear(hammer) headphones or the close headphones that are preatty have and the sound is more filled cause they model on your hear.
      I ve also noticed that 1 mid frequency is low if on the equalizer you boost bass and high but it could be just the audiocard.

    I have th OneOdio & agree w/everything you said. Th build is their Achilles heel, th plastic swivels that allow them to fold out broke on mine in just a few months. Be very careful w/these especially when putting them on. I have Cowin E7pro's also & agree 100% w/ what you said about them also😅 Th thing is when I got them, I thought something was wrong them, all deep, thick, murky bass & no mids & highs were muffled. I downloaded equalizer/Amp off Google play & fixed all their quirks instantly. Th only thing I would add is that th E7pros are heavy. I hav a bad neck from car/motorcycle wrecks & it took me a long time to get used to them. If a person is really frail they may be a bit too much, especially for extended listening. They're durable af though, I've probably dropped them 80-100× on carpeted floor b/c I doze off wearing them in bed😅. Just my experiences to share. Good vid, thanks man.👌🍻

    One mention (I forgot the other model/company but they look like the ones I am about to mention ... somewhat anyway) I'd like to say are the Samson SR850's ... the soundstage is GREAT and the only issue I have are the bass is lacking .. though when (as a test) when i added more bass in the EQ the overall balance went down ... so if i am wanting to listen to something with "good thumping bass" ... I'd reach for something other than the Samson ... ANYTHING else ... the Samsons SR 850's are a go-to for me ... the seperation and sound stage some people rave about with these ... .I can confirm it's that good
