I've had a red lava lamp on my bedroom nightstand for over a decade, since i was like 5 years old or so, and i dont have a home studio (YET!) but i agree when the sun goes down and i turn it on, it gives my whole room a warm and comfy vibe. Hi Sanjay C, can you please make a video on "How to setup a home studio or portable workstation using iPad" which current ipad model is best for this, what DAW to use, What plugins to use, what audio interface, what midi controller and what other gadgets to go with it? thank you! Happy new year
I love the stuff on this list that's not technically "music gear" but makes making music 10x easier and clutter free, like the hooks and USB hub. You only get those tips from experience!
Another banger vid Sanjay! That cheap Fifine mic looks really dope! So happy you condensed these gadgets in one vid, it can get annoying when other RUclipsrs put like 4 gadgets per vid... 25 is amazing!
I feel like more people in the music producer community need to know about the Koss KPH30i headphones. They're a semi open back headphone popular in the audiophile community and at $30 they're hard to beat. I've put the Grado G cushion ear pads on mine and they are surprisingly comfy/accurate. They certainly don't have insane top end clarity but at $30 I'd be hard pressed to find something that neutral with decent sound stage. I use them for mixing along with my monitors and for most of my leisure stuff and they work surprisingly well. For a beginner producer its a no brainer! P.S. You HAVE to get the clear color ones, the other colors have dampening inside that muffle the sound a bit. You can open them up and remove it but that's not everyone's cup of tea
YES YES YES. A fellow Audiophile. they came out with a newer model called the KPH40 which just stomps the competition in price to performance and is 100% worth upgrading from the KPH30i, comparable to endgame gear, (I have spent $7000+ on audio gear).
im also worried i might accidently confuse a cardboard box with my pets, so im glad that i got the small ceramic and blunt cutter so that if i ever do try and cut open my pets they're only gonna lose their trust in me.
When it comes to cables I’d highly recommend sommer cables. I’ve been using them in 2 media/event technic companies I’m working with and am using them myself. Never had any problems and as good Performance/durability with other brands
For y’all asking about the Aloe Vera in the thumbnail. It keeps the air fresh in the studio. Same goes for all the succulents in here. Perfect for studio atmosphere 🤨🤨
Be careful with guitar stands if you have a guitars with nitrocellulose finishes. The rubber padding can damage the finish over time. That's often what separates the expensive stands from cheap ones.
Your Videos really help me ,since i am a Student and don´t have a lot of money laying around ,some cheaper stuff thats still good helps me a lot .Thank you for your videos and keep going making those great videos !
I have no faith that OneOdio is a competitive headphone in the market, no one in the audiophile community speaks positively of it. I'd recommend AKG 361 instead and KPH40 for reference Headphones that could legitimately be your last. (I've spent $7000+ on audio gear and I trust the Audiophile community more than any music producer)
@@SanjayC No, actually not😂 But I needed a stand for my headphones, and since I was not satisfied with the stands I found online, I built one myself. The construction is pretty simple: I took a long plank and cut it into 3 pieces. One for the bottom, where it stands on, one on the side, and one on top, to put the headphones on. Then I just scrued it together and sanded the edges to make it smother. And in the end I oiled it👌
