Finally an actual studio headphones. Everyone and their mother is trying to promote wireless headphones which in my opinion an inferior version of headphones.
Samson should give you few bucks for that BECAUSE😏 I purchased a pair based on your review and wow I’m very impressed. Balanced ,really wide and crisp soundstage and punchy lows but not too much so. They actually are up to par with a pair of headphones I paid $400 for 😮. Ty
@@danielsmokesmids i know bluetooth has a ton of latency, however a 2.4 ghz headset probably wouldnt be awful, as those are used in gaming. but i know ms matters a lot in terms of recording with monitoring on, so even then maybe 2.4 ghz has too much
Samson seems like it's engineered and manufactured by Superlux Taiwan, based on their parts bin, not sure if there's a 1:1 correspondence to their models. Do you have access to a Superlux vendor in your region? Presonus HD7 is also made by Superlux. The bulk of the Superlux headphones are right around the $30 mark. They also make really pleasant sounding and inoffensive looking microphones, though with a little bit of a touch noise issue.
I loved my old Superlux (hd681 evo) but it eventually broke. In hindsight I should have kept it.. but after the plastics broke apart I stored it but eventually I threw it out while crying lmao. Just really rarely find headphones I like that I can afford. Didn't know there maybe have been a chance of repairing it myself back then.
Which one would work better for me ? In my Country the OneOdio A71 is priced at 25$ while the M20x is Priced at 80$, I would prefer the cheaper one, but is the advantages of M20x worth the extra 55$ ? I will use them mainly for Music Production: Composition then Mixing.
I ended up buying the Samson headphones and I feel like they do take some getting used to, it’s quite different than any other headphones ive tried (which are mainly for music listening) I do agree with the comment that the instruments are well isolated but like I said it takes some getting used to because even though the lows are clear when I listen in on the devices it’s not at all punchy on the headphones so I end up with more bass than I intended and less high and for some reason it brings out the echoes and reverb differently so I also get more of that on other devices.
Whaaa..t samson sr 850 is also available, I have got them. They are great, but had to return because the earpad was falling apart, and they didn't have a replacement. So now I am going for fiioxjade jt1.
so basically I watched your "How to make free lyrics videos" but I am having trouble when trying to drag and drop the files into the software. Can you give me some advice in dragging and dropping the files? I'd appreciate it if you'd give some advice
Hmmmm, 🤔 💭 great sharing my G. Thank you. So which one will you’ll be picking ? if you got job to Indonesia to Mixing, and mmm also sudden Mastering since the client deadline when they pick you up from the airport 😅
why?! because it has audio technica stamped on?! sheep... sr850 is the best for the semi open soundstage feature. + comfort. ...if u don't need isolation that is
i got the m20x and they are great coming from airpods. the soundstage is something else compered to normal consumer products. also they have destryed listening to music in my car. like there just so much detail missing in my car speaker i didnt even notes before now.... but they are more then great. the build quality is not the best... but for the price its all right
The guy tells us how long we can use them without hurt our ears. Like! Edit: Any closed back alternative for the Samson? I might have to use it for recording too...
Hey love the audio studio set up video you made year ago very interesting and full of facts. Like when you put low and hi price of electrical devices. Well though out how you plan the video great job liked this one headphones video. Well put together keep doing what you doing best 👍🏾

So true man. I just listened to one of my songs with a pair of wireless headphones. And all I hear is bass.
I got sfs of it.

they also dont work with an audio interface & have way more latency. honestly unusable if you’re recording vocals
@@danielsmokesmids i know bluetooth has a ton of latency, however a 2.4 ghz headset probably wouldnt be awful, as those are used in gaming. but i know ms matters a lot in terms of recording with monitoring on, so even then maybe 2.4 ghz has too much
Great video! I have an AudioTechnica M30X and I love the soundstage of this headphones.
I thought my headphones sucked. but later I connected them to a different hole and they worked good.
😳
Great review
Dope content as usual
850s blew my mind for the money more so than the AKG 240 studio honestly
Thank you for the video! Been looking all over the place for which headphones to choose. You sticking to a budget is greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for this!
Finally, the long-awaited review is out...
The Samson SR850, One Odio, Audio Technica works for me.
Let me be a bit biased even the M-audio.
Thank you for your video, I wanted to ask how much is the difference between 280pro and m20x headphones, and what is yours?

I thinking to get the same headphones ,I wanted to ask you how good is the high end?
Here in India only One Odeo pro 30 available. So what're your thoughts about it? Is it better than blon bl-03

I just bought the M-Audio HDH40 thanks to your review😁
What do you think of them?
@@johnblackman3771 Very good quality. Sound is very good.
bro could u please give a detailed rivew on the VAULT C8 studio monitors cuz its cheap and also tell whether is it a good one or a bad one.
would the samsung be good for gaming and music listening ? for it's imaging and sound stage ?
Brother, can you tell me that, which best about Rode NT2A vs WA47JR
I would go for the Rode NT2-A 🫡
@@EdwardSmithMusic is wa47jr not better from nt2a?
?
@@mushfiqurrahman7507nah bro just buy rode nt2 you'll not regre6
which is best interm of sound quality - ATH M20X OR SAMSON SR850
Both are pretty close but since ath m20x is closed back it can also be used for tracking vocals
so basically I watched your "How to make free lyrics videos" but I am having trouble when trying to drag and drop the files into the software. Can you give me some advice in dragging and dropping the files?

Sad to see the Superlux 668b’s didn’t make the list. But they can be a little hard to find
What s your casio model?
Hi - I need some headphones for monitoring my audio on my DSLR, hopefully compact but able to exclude external noise.
Did you misspell Samson?
Hmmmm, 🤔 💭 great sharing my G. Thank you. So which one will you’ll be picking ? if you got job to Indonesia to Mixing, and mmm also sudden Mastering since the client deadline when they pick you up from the airport 😅

Ath M20x is the One!!

sr850 is the best for the semi open soundstage feature. + comfort.
...if u don't need isolation that is
So basically if you are an artist go for the ATHs, and for production and mixing go for the Samsons
And if you're both?
The voice is an instrument. I'll go with the Samson for both.
You should test Oneodio Pro 50, not A71 :(
Wonderful information and personality. Thank you! 💯💯🫠
I really appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Suggest me, I want a 50$ headphone for music production and mixing. I love tight low end...
The ATH-M20X offer good low end at $50... I would go with them.

I can t found how to play with effect and record with video in the same time i record it with effect in garage band but without video 😢
PLS CHECK ONEODIO 80 OPEN BACK HEADPHONE😍
do the one audios have noise isolation or cancelling
They could have noise isolation, but they definelty do not have a noise canceling feature.
შეგიძლია ჰედსეტებზეც გააკეთო მსგავსი ვიდეო?
Bluetooth is just a bit annoying for me
As you have to recharge the headphones instead of just plugging it in
Thought I'd let you know Edward that you accidentally named the Samson timestamp as "Samsung" lol
please suggest me.
DUDE ALL THESE HEADPHONES SUCK BAD .
Lmao
