@PanTheOrganizer Hey pan, how are you?? Love the car, and ive watched your videos for over 7 years now!!! I was wondering if you can find a big lifted truck with polished forged wheels. For example american force jtx forged or signature forged or fuel forged just a few examples. These wheels cost 10-15k canadian and I don't want to watch others when it comes to cleaning and protecting therfore I was wondering if u can do a full series on how to do a wash and decontamination wash and put a coating and what coating is good for them?? All the videos I've found show how to polish them ect... but taking care of them for maintenance washes are a big issue and coatings on polished wheels are a lot different than stock wheels. I'm buying a set and don't want to screw them up Thanks!!!!
Big fan of G-techniq here. One tip I’d say is to put your wipers into service position so you avoid getting the chemicals on them when spraying the windshield.
Love the channel Pan! Best way I've ever found, and bonus, it's free: take really hot water, maybe even use a kettle to heat some up (no need to have it boiling though). Don't even need soap, but you can add some if you like. Then take a cloth, soak up the hot water, and lay the cloth on the bug guts for a minute or so. It will make them come right off without scrubbing at all. And no scratching paint! No rinsing even needed if you didn't add soap. Might have to run some clean water over it after maybe, but not usually. Try it, you'll love it! I learned this trick from my sportbike days when bugs would make the front of my yellow bike black :) . Another rider passed it on to me.
Good tip! I knew about it. It’s the same principle of softening the bugs and bug guts to make them easier to rinse off. Welcome to my channel. Great video Pan. Appreciate the focus on the process. I use P&S Bug Off, it works so well to clean off bug guts before my contact wash. Man, that was a lot of bugs on your car!!
I’ve used Griot’s Garage Bug and Smudge remover as well as a product called Bugslide. Griot’s leaves a little film if you use on glass and only wipe down with a microfiber cloth. The Bugslide product doesn’t leave a residue but works well for motorcycles on longer roadtrips to help keep windshields and fairings clean. Thanks for the show today!
Pan, I am 4 years into my detailing weekend warrior business. I just want to say thank you for helping tens of thousands detailers across the planet. Your a detailing legend bro

I don't go on extended road trips with my car. Less than a day, then back at home. If we go on longer road trips, we use my girlfriend's vehicle. :) But if you have to and want a safe solution, bring a rinseless wash mix, or a good waterless wash like this: bit.ly/4agKKpw Also bring a plush microfiber towel, spray on the surface generously, let it soak, then gently wipe. That should do until you are able to safely wash your car again.
Make sure the car is coated first, of course. I went on a week long trip to Ashville, NC and had a ridiculous amount of bugs on my car. I sprayed them down with rinseless and then went to a touchless car wash during the trip. $12 and all the bugs were gone. Did a proper wash when I got home. Did the same experiment as the guy above. My wife drove from VA to NY and back. She's not as into detailing as I am and didn't care that the car was dirty. The bugs sat on her car for about 4 days before she let me wash it. Even with TW Graphene Flex Wax protection, the guts were absolutely baked. It took a lot more work than I expected to get them off. She agreed to let me wash the car as soon as we back from our road trips.
Pan, thanks again for some great tips, also noted your reply re extended car trips and rinseless. Is the process that you used also fine on non coated PPF? Cheers.
It is that time of year again. I did a major bug removal last weekend, and find having a ceramic coating, really makes bug removal a breeze. Without a coating, I think two or three rounds of pre-treatment would have been required. I think many still use those scrubbers, which do work, but damage your finish. Great tips here, as always! 🇨🇦
Just wet the car, spray the purple bottle of Super Clean on the bugs, wait 45 econds, spray with water and wipe off. It doesnt hurt the finish at all if you don't let it dry. So easy and so cheap. Dont make a bigger deal out of a simple task.
@valvodka some people like to do things the proper way, which generally require more time and effort, and some people like to do things the quick and easy way. Each is their own.
When I worked at a detail shop when I moved/relocated, 90% of our work was dealership cars (brand new & used) , 10% clients. We mainly used a non-acidic tire/wheel cleaner to get the vehicle prepped for a hand wash & foam wash & to help remove the bugs; tree sap, & other possible contaminants it was safe to use on tires/wheel faces (of course), as well as, plastic & painted parts on car, glass, grille, trim, etc (basically the whole car). Worked like a charm too (like-new results every time). It also had the vehicles perfectly prepped for a hand wash by the time we had sprayed the vehicle down & washed it off.
Glad you like them! And thanks for the positive feedback. Congrats on one million subs, and also great video. I once had the genius idea of using the spinning mode for cleaning patios on my license plate thinking it would be stronger and blast the bugs off, it blasted a hole through my license plate and I needed a new one lol. Was only £8 though.
This was great. I live in central PA, a rural area. So I have a lot of bugs everywhere I drive. And I don't have a muddy truck or jeep, I have a nice professional looking car. And a bug covered car doesn't look very professional. Thanks for this. I'd love to see your advice or tricks with winter difficulties like protecting your car from salt or how to not look like trash when there's slush everywhere.
Just tried this after a road trip last weekend. The bugs were on my car for about a week, longer than i would have liked, but I had no time to wash. This method worked well for me. No scrubbing outside of the regular contact wash and no bugs left. Thank you :) Also worth noting, my car is ceramic coated.
I've been using degreaser to remove bugs for years, and it removes 99% without the need for touching. Just spray with pressure washer. Diluted Meguiars super degreaser has been my choice fo this. I bought the 3,79l container in 2012, and it has lasted until now summer 2024😀
Good information Pan. I've made many unintentional scratches to my paint over the years by trying to get rid of bug guts. Once I discovered decent bug removing chemicals, it reduced the amount of minor scratching to the paint and everything you say here is good info. I also agree that the bug removers are the best ones to use over other chemicals because they are specifically designed and tested to work at effectively removing the guts or at least softening them up enough that they are easy to remove during the normal contact wash with soap or a rinseless wash. For sure you need at least a wax on the vehicle first or the bugs will most likely etch the clear coat, especially while in the sun. I know, i've done it in the past on some of the older daily drivers i've had in the past, which I normally had one junker type car I just used as a daily and kept my new cars in perfect garage kept condition. Also, the dwelling issue is very important, not letting the chemical dry on the surface or it could cause some damage. Even the cheap bug removers from the big box stores or auto part stores work ok. I am getting ready to try the P&S "Bug Off", which is one I have wanted to try for at least a year or more after seeing it on another detailing channel. I had never heard of it before that but it's always good to have a gallon of bug remover on hand in your detailing product arsenal as it is a very frequently used chemical for anyone who enjoys proper detailing of their vehicles.
12:48 About the water... Not sure if you've ever covered it, but most tap water has fluoride (hydrofluoric-acid), dissolved calcium, and chlorine in it. Although the concentrations are very low, fluoride is not something you wanna let sit on the paint too long. Undiluted forms of it are used to etch glass and I believe this is part of the reason water spots from tap water sometimes never to go away after washing.
I'm close to you in Western Illinois. Right where I live in Macomb we don't have hardly any. But I went to Peoria a couple days ago and they had them thick there. I got lucky. They are thick along the Mississippi too.
Last summer went on long road trip thru upper Rockies. My vehicle was bug covered each day. My wife and friends we met up there were surprised that I sought out a manual car wash each evening to remove most of that days bug damage. Worked for me. Maybe not most techi solution per the professional detailed but most practical and nice to start next day with clean windshield.
That's a good temporary solution until your next proper hand wash for sure. Better to have the bugs off rather than letting them bake on the surface for days or weeks on end. Welcome to my channel. Hello, thank you for the great video, I really love your workshop, everything is perfect, everything is neat and clean... and your educational videos. Greetings from Slovenia
Great info as usual!, all boils down to process and good products. Here in Florida timing is essential and allowing the contamination to "bake" on is no bueno, even on coated/protected vehicles. So asap in my routine is a non negotiable.
I've used Meguiar's Bug & Tar remover in the past. But is a spray can, and it lasts for two cleaning. So, I think the product is good, but it don't last. So, I'm looking for other options that can be used more than twice. For example, in your cleaning today, you probably have used 3/4 of the can to apply the same surface area that you most likely used 1/4 of the Gtechnic
I know there's a bunch of different bug removers, and I personally hate turtle wax anything, but their foaming bug and tar remover has been the best bug remover I've found
@@PanTheOrganizer some other foaming ones, I can't remember which ones except mothers. Meguairs, gyeon, sonax, Adam's polishes are the ones I can remember. I'm sure I've tried a couple others. But I truly still can't believe the turtle wax foaming one gets me the best results. When I let it sit it gets more off with a rinse, and when I go in for a contact wash after, sometimes spraying another layer or not depending on severity, they come off like butter with just a mitt I've never needed a bug sponge
I use 3D bug remover spray. It works great but it’s definitely strong. It says it won’t damage any existing waxes or sealants but I find that it does weaken the coating every time I use it. Do you think diluting it will help it not weaken the pre-existing coating?
We rented a bus-like RV and went out west...sooo many bugs. For fun we drew targets on inside windshield and each person had one..we kept score before we hit a gas station to clean. Even went thru a few locust plagues in New Mexico..scores were high on that part of the trip :) Since I started using ceramic coating bugs are way easier to remove.

I use Gtechnique G8 too as it simply works. For those of us with Hydro ceramic coatings DIY rinseless wash sprayed on for five minutes is very effective too. Thank you for the video.
Pan, one of the least expensive harmless way's I have always removed bug's, bird dropping's and tree spore's from my vehicles is pulling my vehicle in a shaded area or preferably in the garage and placing a wet towel over the area affected and letting it sit for 30 min or longer then wiping the area off w/ a micro fiber or soft terry cloth. I have never had a problem w/ this as it softens everything up, even that hard center point area and wipes up easily w/o scratching. Thx for your videos.
There are many methods for sure. The goal is to safely soften the bug guts to a point where they are easy to rinse off, without mechanical agitation required. :)
Years ago before I knew there were bug cleaning products out there, I used Goop hand cleaner. The reasoning was that if it works so good and is safe to use on my hands, then it's safe enough to use on car paint. It works well but to apply it there is a slight abrasion as it must be rubbed onto the paint.
How’s it going Pan, every now and then I like to watch your videos and always feel like I learn something new. I just washed my car this morning and I used 3D Car Care’s Bug Remover. I find it to be very effective and notice that even with one spray, it begins to pull the bugs off the paint. I believe you should give this product a try and leave your review on it.
I have a small professional detail shop in Illinois and we are blessed to be the home of Superior products! They have effective products at great pricing packaged for volume detailers. They have two products that I use on every detail this time of year. 1) Bugs b gone 2) Dark Fury. I use bug cleaner full strength if needed, but it dilutes 1:1 ok. Foam sprayer if possible, if not a quality chemical resistant sprayer works. Spray liberally in shade let dwell but not dry and spray off with pressure washer. Second pass if needed spritz on let dwell snow foam over and blast off. Tris works the vast majority of the time if not add in a bug scrubber and now’s the time to use it with all this lube on the surface.
Agree with your tips, have always used bug remover products to make the job easier. Yes, my latest is the P&S Bug Off foamed on at a ratio of 10:1 (water:chemical) and that seems to be all that is needed if have protection on paint.
As always good content Pan. Just wanted to pass on I’ve utilized McKee’s N-914 in a 32 sprayer with success very similar to (and some cases better) bug removers. 29oz water to 3 Oz McKee’s. Cool panel, wait 30sec to 1 min and a damp gauntlet towel. Works very well here in South Louisiana.
I'm loving it! Comfortable, spacious and practical. And dead silent inside, so I can enjoy my music. The Cayenne is already very well noise insulated, but I also got the optional sound insulated privacy glass.
I haven’t seen any prewash melt away bugs as easily as touchless. I’ve used bug removers and foam over that and it works great. But touchless by itself is plenty strong
Being a mobile detailer from the great state of TEXAS! I find it hard to let it dwell lol but I use P&S bug off because of the price and it works well in the Texas heat.
I am most definitely a heathen compared to to the rest of the folks on this channel in that my idea of detailing is a car wash having interior mats smacked and liquid wax with the "lights on" as I go through every few weeks. That being said, I bought my wife a brand new Red High Country Suburban and had it shipped from Granger, Iowa to our home in Connecticut. The transport dropped the car off last night and the back gate is COVERED with splattered bug corpses. I have a power washer and appreciate your recommendations for the correct PSI range. I had been hoping to get a nice coating of some sort on the car BEFORE the bug massacre came about. 1) Is it still OK to use the products you mentioned with whatever coating the factory provided? 2) What are your thoughts on Ziebart or other similar treatments on the car? We live off the water and the salt air can be pretty unforgiving to all things metal, especially the under carriage- any suggestions or endorsements would be appreciated. Very Cool channel - I will up my game with your tips. Thanks! ...BTW - I totally have workshop envy.
Hey Pan, thanks for all the videos, you rock. I'm from Saskatchewan so this one helps a ton. An idea for a video would be tips and tricks to washing a car in a garage, I have a double garage here but have never considered washing in it, especially in winter, but it's something I should look in to.

Nice video and learned something new. Would’ve liked to see maybe 1/2 the bumper untreated. Then we could see how much of a difference the chemical makes.
The chemical makes the removal easier. There's no comparison to make here. Much less scrubbing during the contact wash, since the chemical does the heavy lifting for you as you saw. Pretty obvious to see, especially if you try it.
Hi Pan, i have a question for you, what product i should use to remove bugs between the washes if is a small amount of bugs and i dont want to let them on the paint until next wash? Thank you for your time
Hey Pan. Great video. I use Bilt Hamber Touch-Less. The sugar based surfactants do an excellent job of breaking down bugs. I think it's better at breaking down bugs than it is at breaking down road grime.
I've had great results with 3d bug remover. It seems quite aggressive so definitely have to be mindful not to let it dry on the car. I'm not sure how it affects ceramic coatings, I just use a coat restorer after using bug spray anyways.
Freakin Bugs!! I like this product and will grab a bottle for the summer. Once used a different brand on my Rain X coated windshield and it pulled up a very thick gel onto my wash mitts. I was so disappointed. I had to throw out my mitts. I won’t make that mistake again and I have since stopped using Rain X.
For those of us that don't have a pressure washer, do you have a recommendation for a bug scrubber pad? Looks like the McKee's Road Kill Scrubber is highly rated online.
Hey Pan, congrats on your gold play button BTW, that's awesome, I keep meaning to ask why warm water in your foam cannon, just curious on what it does compared to room temperature or cold water. thanks.
Warm water often helps dilute the soap better, and during winter months can also help to dissolve winter muck and grime better. I also add warm water in the wash buckets in winter months.
Thanks! I don't do stone chip repairs unfortunately. I leave that to paint shop experts. Welcome to my channel. Wonderful video. What about palm tree sap? I live in SoCal and get a lot of palm tree dust/pollen/sap on my car. Will the bug remover work or is there another product for that?
Pan, would Active Foam be too aggressive for every wash on a coated vehicle? I've been using GSF but looking for a cheaper option. The gallons of Autoshampoo (same as Active Foam w/o scent) are the same price as a liter of GSF.
Bugs n all from Amazon has always been my go to. I wonder if you have ever tried it or maybe could tell me if it’s safe on coated vehicles. Thanks Pan!

My Cayenne is ceramic coated as well , plus I always carry bead maker with me and being the OCD sad case I am with no life , I always clean the front of the car when I stop on a road trip , or when I get home on a short trip lol .
Hi Pan. Cool and informative video as always! Thanks for posting. Question...My front bumper/grille is a chrome-colored plastic. I work at keeping it clean, but it has some etchings (from before I purchased it). How do I remove bug etchings from a front bumper/grille? Please advise. Thanks!
You should review Detail Studio products. It's a product line owned by Myron who you interviewed years ago when he was with Duraslic. He branched out and created his own professional products, no white labeling
Hey Pan, can these chemicals be used on a steel bumper? I have a jeep gladiator with steel bumper. The jeep pretty much being a block on wheels really gets hammered with bugs. Just wondering if this will cause any reaction to non painted surfaces. Would also love to see how you would handle washing an off-road vehicle after it’s been caked in dirt/mud. Keep up the great vids.
Thanks Pan. Another good one. I'll try this out soon on my coated car. However, my other cars are protected with sealants & wax. I can't use alkaline soap for pre-wash. What do you recommend? many thanks! Frank
There aren't miracles unfortunately for regular waxes and sealants. You use a bug remover or what ever chemical you need, and once the rest of the wash process is done, you observe the water beading. If it has diminished, you'll have to reapply a layer of wax or sealant. Or as a quicker solution, you can use a spray-on, rinse-off sealant like Gyeon WetCoat or DIY Detail Quick Beads. A few seconds, boom, the car is done.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for your advice and the answer. I agree with you. I'm already using Gyeon Wet Coat on wheels. I'll spray on and rinse off on the front end of that car until the next polish & protection job soon. Cool!!! Another question: Will you use more alkaline shampoo as pre-wash for those cars protected with waxes or sealants? I'm actually using DIY Detail Incredible Suds or GSF with a bit of GS infused.... For the coated car, I'm using CarPro Lift actually. Thanks in advance and have a great day!!! Keep up your work! You are the best!!!
Hi Pan, Sometimes I cannot do a full wash for a few days after my car is full of bug guts. How can I do a quick and safe bug removal without doing a full wash?
Thanks for sharing! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on RUclips as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 140 million views! Great video. But I have a question. Your focus seemed to be primarily on ceramic coated vehicles, with emphasis on protecting the coating. How do sealants and waxes fare against these bug removers? Thanks.
That’s more of a variable as regular waxes and sealants don’t have that strong chemical resistance like true ceramic coatings do. So if you see less water beading after you used the bug removers, and you had a wax of sealant, simply reapply a fresh layer.
Hi Pan, of the products you mention here, which would you say is the least harsh? I rarely get a lot of bugs, so I would like the most gentle one, thanks !
Thank you Pan. You da man! Quick question…..I just bought a new vehicle. The vehicle is 4 years old and I have no idea if it has a ceramic coating or not. Do you still recommend these products for a vehicle that does not have a ceramic coating?
Great video as always Pan. Thanks! I was wondering btw. Why don't you put a PPF on your car but stick with a ceramic coating? I've got brand new S3 and i'm wondering if i should shell out on PPF or just stick with a good ceramic coating. As far as i can see, for the price of PPF i can pretty much repaint my car so i'm really not sure if it's worth it. I've looked up lots of info on many different sources, but if i'd most certainly value your expert opinion on the matter.
Hi Mark! I am just not a fan of the look or feel or PPF. Plus, as I get a brand new car every three years, and do low yearly mileage, scratches and stone chips are of no concern to me. My cars are always pristine when I bring them back to the dealership. But for people who keep their cars for many years, and want the ultimate scratch and rock chip protection, PPF is the only solution. I would still recommend a ceramic coating on top of the PPF, for the best of both worlds.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks for the elaborate reply Pan! Guess I'll go for a good ceramic coating at first and take it from there. And fortunately I have a great source of information on how to apply a ceramic coating ;)

Great video! I took your word for it and got the Gtechniq Bug Remover and it is a game changer, thanks for sharing and helping me save time! Though, one thing I still need help with is properly cleaning side skirts. Mine get VERY dirty and I don’t know what chemical to use to clean them. The only thing that seems to work is pushing hard during contact wash, not sure if that’s what I should be doing though. Please let me know what you would do and what product you’d use. Thanks!
What pre-wash snow foam do you use? Perhaps something like Koch Chemie Active Foam, CarPro Lift or Bilt Hamber Touch-Less will help, before the contact wash.
@@PanTheOrganizer I use CarPro Lift (and follow all directions), but even still, it does not make my contact wash easier in terms of removing the embedded grime and whatever all those spots are on the skirts. So this is not a problem for you ever?
Would you recommend using a higher ph foam like Koch Chemie as a pre treatment on cars even if there are no bugs or guts? Great video Pan thanks as always.
PAN as always another great video. I just bought this technique w8. is it safe to use on fiberglass Fairings on a motorcycle such as a Harley? I live in the Midwest out by farm.Fields and bugs are my biggest problem.
Any tips and tricks on how to safely remove bug poop or bug guts when you're away from home and cannot have your car washed for a few days/up to a week? There's only a couple of spots of bird poop that need to be removed. Can I just take a microfiber towel with some warm water and use the lift away method to get the majority of it off until I can clean the vehicle?
Hey Pan, I’m looking for a video to remove bird poop. Bird poop for when it’s still slimy and for when it harden after a couple of days. I’m not sure if you have one but I would love the link to it.
nice vid. just a little note 1 to 10 is 1 part solute to 9 parts diluent end solution is total of 10. So it would be 900 water to 100 product. 1:9 ratio = 1 to 10 dilution, in other words it is a 1 to 9 ratio which gives you a 1 to 10 dilution.
Another great video! As someone else mentioned how would you deal with an extended trip where you have an extended time between washes where you accumulate a lot of bug guts. Thanks
Same issue here. I'm maybe not doing long car trips but rather longish journeys to car meets or shows. I wash car previous evening, then in the morning 2-3 hours on motorway. By the time I arrive, front looks like a graveyard. My process: first ample amounts of bug remover, wipe off with soft microfiber, then waterless wash, wipe off, finally ceramic quick detailer, wipe off. Takes 20 mins or so. When I'm back home, I wash car as soon as possible. I have ceramic coating so that certainly helps in this process. But would be nice to hear if Pan has some tips for improving my process or better alternatives.
I just recently started with detailling. I do the touchless prewash and also spray away the bugs. Handwash then. But I am afraid my clearcoat is affected by the bugs. What should I do Pan?😢

What about dried/hard pine sap? Would you go about it the same way as bugs?
After detailing cars for 50 years I always learn something new from Pan every week.
Glad to hear that! Even after 27 years of detailing, I still like learning new things.
I pre-treat, but then I foam over that. I find that it helps reinvigorate the pre-treat spray and the clinging foam helps dissolve the bugs.
Yup

Great video Pan. Appreciate the focus on the process. I use P&S Bug Off, it works so well to clean off bug guts before my contact wash. Man, that was a lot of bugs on your car!!
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing!
Pan, I am 4 years into my detailing weekend warrior business. I just want to say thank you for helping tens of thousands detailers across the planet. Your a detailing legend bro

Great video. A follow up video idea for you. How do you manage bug guts while on an extended road trip 3+ days.
I don't go on extended road trips with my car. Less than a day, then back at home. If we go on longer road trips, we use my girlfriend's vehicle. :)
But if you have to and want a safe solution, bring a rinseless wash mix, or a good waterless wash like this: bit.ly/4agKKpw
Also bring a plush microfiber towel, spray on the surface generously, let it soak, then gently wipe. That should do until you are able to safely wash your car again.
Great idea@@PanTheOrganizer
Thanks Linda! And yes having paint protection, especially a ceramic coating, REALLY helps making cleaning much easier and faster.
We mainly used a non-acidic tire/wheel cleaner to get the vehicle prepped for a hand wash & foam wash & to help remove the bugs; tree sap, & other possible contaminants
it was safe to use on tires/wheel faces (of course), as well as, plastic & painted parts on car, glass, grille, trim, etc (basically the whole car).
Worked like a charm too (like-new results every time). It also had the vehicles perfectly prepped for a hand wash by the time we had sprayed the vehicle down & washed it off.
Your videos are not too long, I like how detailed you are.
Glad you like them! And thanks for the positive feedback. As my channel is designed for those who like me, are passionate about car detailing, I like to be thorough in my demonstrations and explanations. I pretreat with 50% hydrogen peroxide and 50% water then spray on the foam. Your tip on not doing it in the sun is spot on
Congrats on one million subs, and also great video. I once had the genius idea of using the spinning mode for cleaning patios on my license plate thinking it would be stronger and blast the bugs off, it blasted a hole through my license plate and I needed a new one lol. Was only £8 though.
LOL omg!!! How much PSI is your pressure washer? Don't go beyond 2000 psi to wash cars (138 Bar). I set my pressure washer to 1000 psi (69 Bar)
@@PanTheOrganizer 2600.
@PanTheOrganizer great to know. Have you done any videos on Pressure Washers recently?
Great to hear!
Absolutely!
Perfect timing. In Missouri, the cicadas are absolutely absurd right now
Yeah from the looks of the comments it seems many of my viewers were happy with this video's timing! :)

Great info as usual!, all boils down to process and good products. Here in Florida timing is essential and allowing the contamination to "bake" on is no bueno, even on coated/protected vehicles. So asap in my routine is a non negotiable.
Yup, regular maintenance is key.
I know there's a bunch of different bug removers, and I personally hate turtle wax anything, but their foaming bug and tar remover has been the best bug remover I've found
Cool. Which other bug removers have you tested in comparison?
@@PanTheOrganizer some other foaming ones, I can't remember which ones except mothers. Meguairs, gyeon, sonax, Adam's polishes are the ones I can remember. I'm sure I've tried a couple others. But I truly still can't believe the turtle wax foaming one gets me the best results. When I let it sit it gets more off with a rinse, and when I go in for a contact wash after, sometimes spraying another layer or not depending on severity, they come off like butter with just a mitt I've never needed a bug sponge
Wow. Great timing of this video. About to go out and clean up some big guts. Thank you !
Thanks Roberto!

👍🏻
Correct
3D Bug remover has become a favorite of mine. Diluted 1:10 is still crazy strong.
I haven’t tested that yet but a few viewers have told me they love it too.
Tried 3D last Love Bug season when I couldn’t find Bug Off. It is really good stuff. Not sure which I'll buy when my gallon of 3D is gone.
Dark fury Bug and Tar Remover by superior. Cheap and great dilution. Spray on, rinse off, works every time
Super timely video... I was just looking for bug removers.
Glad I could help! :)
Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I see a lot of people mention Dark Fury as a great product to use for bug removal
Agree with your tips, have always used bug remover products to make the job easier. Yes, my latest is the P&S Bug Off foamed on at a ratio of 10:1 (water:chemical) and that seems to be all that is needed if have protection on paint.
👍🏻
As always good content Pan. Just wanted to pass on I’ve utilized McKee’s N-914 in a 32 sprayer with success very similar to (and some cases better) bug removers. 29oz water to 3 Oz McKee’s. Cool panel, wait 30sec to 1 min and a damp gauntlet towel. Works very well here in South Louisiana.
Thanks!
Have used Knights Spray 9 for years. Works fine for me.
I've used Seafoams bug remover and think it works good . I spray it on , let it dwell a few minutes , then pressure wash it off .
Thanks Pan. Something Canada and Florida have in common…lots of bugs!!! Very helpful and straightforward. Thanks again!
Thanks Dave!
Great video pan! Thanks for the info. I use the turtle was bug and tar remover. it works really well for me.
Thanks!
Thank you for an updated video. How are you enjoying your new Porsche SUV?
I'm loving it! Comfortable, spacious and practical. And dead silent inside, so I can enjoy my music. The Cayenne is already very well noise insulated, but I also got the optional sound insulated privacy glass.
Thanks Pan for your reply. Keep doing what you do. I learn something new every time l watch your videos or about new and old products.
Thanks, will do!
I also use the flip bug/decon microfiber mesh scrubbing towel from Autofiber
Yes that’s a good one. Very economical too if you dilute it 1:3
What dilution do you use in your conditions?
Spray nine and a soft nylon brush for painted and chrome. Ultra fine steel wool for glass.
Did you go to Fla!? Looks like it! WOW so many bugs there. You did a great job. 😊
Hehe that’s just Montreal bug season
Thanks Pan. Are these bug removers safe to use on PPF? Are alkaline shampoos safe on PPF? And how did you choose your RUclips name?
Not all bug removers nor alkaline shampoos are safe on PPF. Best to either ceramic coat the PPF, or use PPF-specific products.
Hey Pan, thanks for all the videos, you rock. I'm from Saskatchewan so this one helps a ton. An idea for a video would be tips and tricks to washing a car in a garage, I have a double garage here but have never considered washing in it, especially in winter, but it's something I should look in to.

Nice video pan! I'm currently useing W8 and it's been working out well. Cheers 🇨🇦
Good pick!
Can you do a review on superior products, dark fury, zap it etc.
Hi Pan, i have a question for you, what product i should use to remove bugs between the washes if is a small amount of bugs and i dont want to let them on the paint until next wash? Thank you for your time
A good rinseless wash or waterless wash with a plush microfiber towel usually does the trick.
👍🏻
Hey Pan. Great video. I use Bilt Hamber Touch-Less. The sugar based surfactants do an excellent job of breaking down bugs. I think it's better at breaking down bugs than it is at breaking down road grime.
Thanks!
👍got it
Pan, love your videos. Can you please make a video about correcting stone chips (touch-up paint/brushes/thinners/sanding/cutting/polishing etc)?

Wonderful video. What about palm tree sap? I live in SoCal and get a lot of palm tree dust/pollen/sap on my car. Will the bug remover work or is there another product for that?
Can we use Koch Chemie AF for maintenance washes as well? I feel like the Gentle Snow foam doesn't do much.
Yup. You could pre-wash with AF and then contact wash with Gsf.
Pan, would Active Foam be too aggressive for every wash on a coated vehicle? I've been using GSF but looking for a cheaper option. The gallons of Autoshampoo (same as Active Foam w/o scent) are the same price as a liter of GSF.
You can use Active Foam as often as you want. No problem. Active Foam for pre-wash, and Gaf for the contact wash is a good combo.
hey Pan , Awesome video , so out of Gyeon Bug and Grime or CarPro Bugout, which do you prefer?
Doesn’t matter they are fairly equal. Buy the less expensive one where you live.
Bugs n all from Amazon has always been my go to. I wonder if you have ever tried it or maybe could tell me if it’s safe on coated vehicles. Thanks Pan!
I haven't.
@PanTheOrganizer very informative and helpful; I’ll be aiming to remove bugs 🪳 without the scrubber 🧽.

Straight up guilty for using those bug scrubber sponges before I started watching Pan videos 🤦♂️
Now you know. ;)
I find that the 3D green rinse less wash works really well to loosen them up, followed by the 3D bug remover or Stoner’s bug remover
Thanks for sharing!

They are all safe on coated vehicles, so pick the less expensive one.
Thank you Pan. You da man! Quick question…..I just bought a new vehicle. The vehicle is 4 years old and I have no idea if it has a ceramic coating or not. Do you still recommend these products for a vehicle that does not have a ceramic coating?
Yes 👍🏻
Thanxx Pan you got me exciting over detailing and I'll start a detailing-course next month😉

Yes you can use Active Foam as often as you want.
PAN as always another great video. I just bought this technique w8. is it safe to use on fiberglass Fairings on a motorcycle such as a Harley? I live in the Midwest out by farm.Fields and bugs are my biggest problem.
They say it's biodegradable, but I don't know if it can be used on fiberglass fairings. Perhaps reach out to Gtechniq and ask them.
I love BugsN'all bug remover. It works great.
Pan, you are the man! I’m so glad you got the Porsche Cayenne, one day I will get one similar. Do you think you will get an AMG G-Class next?
Who knows what will ne next. For now, I’m fully enjoying my Porsche!
Another great video sir. For me this was very useful information. I appreciate your dedication.
Glad it was helpful!
nice vid. just a little note 1 to 10 is 1 part solute to 9 parts diluent end solution is total of 10. So it would be 900 water to 100 product. 1:9 ratio = 1 to 10 dilution, in other words it is a 1 to 9 ratio which gives you a 1 to 10 dilution.
Is Gyeon Bug/Grime ppf safe? I noticed that it has PH 9 so wondering if its still safe for ppf and ceremic coating?
Perfect timing Pan! Tis’ the Season! I’m curious about Maniac Insect Remover have u tried it?
I haven't yet.
Thanks Matthew!
I just recently started with detailling. I do the touchless prewash and also spray away the bugs. Handwash then. But I am afraid my clearcoat is affected by the bugs. What should I do Pan?😢
