- Today we will cover basic flight maneuvers. Flying the X-Star is a lot of fun, but keep in mind practice makes perfect. Even the most basic maneuvers can become complicated once you start to rotate your aircraft while hovering.

Great video! - I wish this video would of been available when I first started flying quads, hexacopters and drones. I settled for holding my first quad and working the sticks on the radio to see which stick controlled what function.

I am a State Licensed inspector, for checking roof nailing of sheeting or HVAC installs does the camera have any scale capabilities or would i need the contractor to leave a ruler or yard stick on the area? Love the possibilities!! I hate ladders at my age!!

You guys should send me x star premium 😀 It was my childhood dream to have an rc helicopter or plane but since drones came into being i want to fly this so badly and do aerial photography,to get me out the house and outdoors again instead of playing video games which have become boring because I beat all the games I have or maxed out in Destiny lol

hi to help better serve the beginners, i need you to explain or make it clearer on what flight mode you are using.. i know its beginners mode but i will use "generic" flying mode to ask you about your demonstration... here's the following 3 non "dji, blade/yuneec, and or autel, etc" mode terminology:
1. full automous mode w/ gps and stabilization of acceloremeter and gyros ( w/ features of left is left, right is right, forward is forward no matter what is the orientation of the drone ie facing away or facing on you)
2. stabilization mode w/ acceloremeter/gyros ONLY but NO gps (w features of orientation of front drone facing away of you is left is left, right is right, forward is forward, back is back and orientation of drone facing on you is will be reverse of the control but still stabilize with gyros)
3.) full manual w/ no gps and stabilization with no help what so ever from gpz and stabilizer gyros (w/ features as i mentioned of flying mode 2, reverse control when the drone is facing on you of course)
I believe on your video you are demonstrating a "stabilization mode w/ accelorometer and gyros assit ONLY... let us know if i am wrong.. thanks..
We are flying in GPS mode and the command sticks are set to Mode 2 by default!
