One of the most under-rated songs on the album. I was lucky enough to see this live at the time. One of the best gigs I ever went to. I could easily have gone every night for weeks on end and still not get bored with it.
On the album, it's the Gomer Pyle episode called "Gomer Says Hey to the President" that's played in the background. They timed it perfectly for the part where he says surprise surprise surprise! Classic Floyd!

Sad and sorry state to have dealt with this Guys - Dave looks tired - Rodger is so looking good and confident. I love this.

Well, in the CFL, I have gone to many games, whereby the crowd is almost comatose, despite what is happening on the field! It's the same way with rock shows these days.

I wrote about Talking Furniture when I was in elementary school. I put in my short story Roger's name. Of course then, I was too young to know who Pink Floyd was. So, today at age 50 I am smitten with myself for writing a small short story about the high levels of frequency our T.V emits of bad deals, bad scenarios, bad genres. While Roger is awaiting news of his Dad at War, he has to sit there and watch/listen to a bunch of channels that are hardly NOT wanted in his Life at the time. The TV is causing so many dramas in our World. Some people are copy cats.. and will be mesmorized at all costs and go crazy. It is the worst form of brain washing ever. Spoons to me means being given the highest quality of life, and then one day it goes away. Being given a spoon is being given the world by your Mom and Dad. I had those wonderful pleasantries at one time. Fortunate!!!!!
