Good Lord I was at Hollywood Bowl October 30th and 31st, but this one might be my favorite version from the tour how lucky we all were to see him again at age 78. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the post. I was there last with my wife. I haven't seen Dave Gilmour since Pink Floyd played Earls Court on the Division Bell tour in 1994. Amazing night. As for the critics. David hasn't been out on tour for a long time and let's not forget that he's 80 years old! He still exudes the magic that he had when I first saw Floyd in 1981 playing The Wall. Beautiful night, amazing band and David is such a legend! 🔥 🎸 💥 🔥
I was lucky to see him at Brighton's 2nd show. I loved every moment. In fact I've never felt so emotional in my 40+ life years. Seeing and hearing David Gilmour in person is a huge privilege❤

very interesting, I just came across this by total accident late night, Wednesday October 9, 2024 here in U.S.A. where I live. I was listening to song "Imagine" by John Lennon earlier, (October 9 was his birthday in 1940) and also another beautiful song "Streets of London" by Ralph McTell--and then next thing comes up on my computer is this concert from Royal Albert Hall in London--I 'wonder' how that happened--because I certainly did not search for this concert--I did not even know it was to take place. And it was recorded already earlier this day--if date of October 9, 2024 is correct. That is amazing....I am sure glad I found this--I did enjoy I want you to know......am I one of the first people to comment? Imagine that--a concert from London England--and an American chap was not even aware this was taking place--yet it popped up on my computer somehow. What luck. Mind you---I have been to London 6 times in my life, all in the 'last century' so to speak--but I remember all my travels very well, even years later. My 6 trips to Britain were 1969,1970,1978,1979,1986,1987. And yes I have been to Royal Albert Hall one time--that was on precisely Sunday August 19,1979 for music called 'the Proms' I believe, I think those type concerts are popular in the summer in London. It was a very 'musical weekend' in mid-August 45 years ago--on Saturday August 18, 1979 I saw "The Who" in concert at Empire Stadium Wembley. That was exciting 80,000 people there to see that concert. Well how is all that from MEMORY--no notes in front of me as I type this....not bad for a man who will be 72 next week on October 17, 2024. So much for all those ads on tv you see about older people losing their memory. Not this man!
Sadly not the next show but I will be at the Hollywood Bowl for the last week of October. David has improved every single performance since this tour kicked off and I can't wait! Enjoy RAH!

He has improved tremendously since the Brighton show! He just needed to knock the rust off!

This was indeed filmed last night around 10:30pm. I was there... Absolutely incredible performance by Gilmour :)
