why is there just one comment, this is such a great OS and idea! I need that .... dont everbody else too?!
I had an OLPC. They had a server project too, just software. That had a Jabber server on it to see the other kids/laptops.
I think I know what my next project is going to be.
Yeah, been in existence for about 10 years now, million(s) of XOs were distributed around the world. RaspBerryPi4 supposedly runs SugarOnAStick (LiveCD like from USB) but not tried that configuration yet. Was involved more in Give1Get1 days of XO-1. Sugarizer app something to consider. Looking at it again, while new generation of kids popped out since then.
Thanks for the video. Was trying to find some reference on what this is gave a great idea about the OS. Basically need to understand an opensource project to run this on Raspberry pi. Once again thanks appreciate it
Lee, Other than this, would you recommend a distro for kids? I want my 6 year old grandson to learn Linux. Endless OS, one recommended by TechHut, seems overwhelming, and allows no customizing or tweaking. Any suggestions?
TwisterOS lite has loads of themes and is based on Raspberry Pi OS 32bit, so it’s very compatible with all the maker side of the Pi.

I want to find a way to put a pi in one of those laptops
Is there a good video on how to install it on my Pi4's? Trying to get my grandkids set up with this OS on them.
See the description. I installed it with Berryboot
Ever heard of it
