    What an enjoyable video ! I'm sorry you didn't manage to see the War Memorial, it's beautiful inside, very sobering in modern day Singapore.
    We must be thankful for the One Million Tree Movement as this island would be completely unliveable without the continuing greening. Good to see the trees along heartland roads and streets planted in a more natural and organic style, requiring less manicuring and attention.
    Loved that you highlighted the local hawkers, of food from the heart and their tenacity in a tough industry. Looking forward to your next video !
    Aida.

      Thank you, Aida, for being such a wonderful supporter of our channel! We read recently that if every country in the world did the same as Singapore (number of trees per sq ft) we’d reverse global warming and SO much of the climate issues would be solved!

    i think something to do with kids is to teach them old hobbies of the past. Have you try bringing them to some canal or longkang (check location in youtube) to catch wild guppies. It will be fun for the kids. Also, something to also try and teach them to catch jumping spiders and see how they fight in the wild. It is a sight to see - again also available in youtube. Kids use to catch them before 70s and then put them in matchbox and fight with friends. Male spider has white eyes when they are between leaves. Really fun to do during nature walk to catch spiders.

    • @leewn2319
      @leewn2319 Год назад +1

      Yes, in my growing up years, we make our own kites, use wood pieces to make toy guns to shoot freshly formed morning glory buds or rubber bands, catch guppies from drains, catch black ants and let them fight, of course spiders too!

    • @WONDERLUSTworld

    That’s a white bellied sea eagle 13:34 Dang! Marsiling Hawker Centre still standing. Anyway if you walked further down Admiralty from that traffic light 17:20 you be hitting industrial area and if you take a bus down all the way to the end, you might see some old bungalows from the time when Commonwealth Army was stationed there and you can find roads such as Canada, King’s and Queen’s, Bermuda, Ottawa, Auckland, Wellington, Montreal Roads. Further up and you’ll end up at Sembawang Park
