Stuffed Crust Pizza from STCG Ingredients: 2C All Purpose Flour 1 pack of instant yeast Pinch of salt TBsp of sugar TBsp Oregano 2 cloves garlic pressed in 1 Tbsp EVOO 3/4 C warm water (110-125F) Directions To a processor, add dry ingredients, mix Add EVOO, mix Drizzle water while mixing If it’s super sticky, add up to another 1/2 C flour. Form a ball, drop into a greased/oiled bowl. Cover, rise in a warm place for 40 mins Punch down the dough Lay out on a floured parchment paper Round it out by hand thin at the edge Lay pepper cheese sticks around the edge and fold over Apply a layer of Every Day Sauce Separate recipe Add a cup of mozzarella plus parmesan, pepperoni 450F for 15 mins Make a Garlic butter S&P spread for the crust and brush on

I buy those containers on amazon... I grew up with mismatching tupperware and it drove me insane. One lid fits every container. And they are cheap so if you wanted to use one for paint/thinner you can just grab one and not feel like you threw a bunch of money away. I think I'm a little too passionate about those little chef containers, lol
I really think his top notch tools and top notch ingredients makes all the difference. I think if you are seriously into home cooking like he is, investing in quality restaurant tools make all’s the difference in to having a great yield.

Tip on the cling wrap.. Costco’s Kirkland wrap.. although it’s mega.. it comes with a pretty nifty slide/cutter.. not those lame “teeth” most boxes have.. SUPER easy to cut - one pass, perfect cut, easy to apply.

Sam...I don't know if you keep up with comments from your older videos. If you do, take this as gospel from a true Guido. You need RED wine in ANY red pasta sauce or tomato sauce you make. This isn't a suggestion, it's a necessity. No one from old country wants to tell you trick to making marinara sauce, but I will share with you. In a batch that small, i'd recommend using about 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of DRY red wine. Doesn't matter if it's a cab or a blend, it just has to be dry and red. Once the alcohol boils off, it will take your sauce to the next level. Your favorite guinea fan. -T

Just finished having this for dinner, and it was wonderful. We like that now we know how to make a homemade pizza in less than two hours. Thank you, Sam! I do not have a food processor. I made the dough by hand. Started out with a spoon, then mixed with my hands. For the proofing, I turned my oven on WARM while I was mixing the dough, then turned the oven OFF when I put the covered dough in to rise. Worked great.
Oh I would have heartburn for the next 4 years after one slice but it would be so worth it! And thank you Sam, for using pepperjack in the stuffed crust. Looks amazing!!!

Several years ago, when all I knew was subsisting on take out and frozen meals, this video appeared in my recommended. I didn't know how to cook, but for some reason Sam's approach made this seem attainable. I came back, watched this video several times over. Then I decided to try it. Five years later and I am immensely proud of my cooking. I've made several of Sam's recipes, and plenty more from other sources. I'm a competent home cook and I've learned more about food and tried more dishes than I ever thought I would. But it all started here. With this simple pizza. So every so often, I come back here and make this recipe again and smile about how far I've come, all because Sam made cooking feel approachable to a complete novice like me. So thank you.

Why not using a regular standmixer with a hook ... for the real tasty dough part? The blades of a mixer will heat up during the process... not good.
