Do you need to use the iTunes account connected to the iPhone or you can use any iTunes account,beacuse I found an iPhone5,it hasn't been touched for 5 months.(no one has looked for it)

Does this work with “activation lock” ?
No, activation lock is connected to the Apple’s database they have your device code and the status of your activation lock,
If you want to remove it you have to contact them

For process of switching from AT&T to Werizon on iPhone 5s. Instruction of unlock from AT&T says, they do not unlock iPhone with no AT&T logo, which is the case. AT&T provides instruction of BackUp > Hard Reset > Restore > supposed to give message "your iPhone is unlocked". iPhone doesn't give that message, Werizon store still says about iPhone supposed to be unlocked, in order to proceed. Can you advice, please? It is noticeable: your iPhone at second restart says about SIMM Card not detected. Explain, please. Thank you.

Hey thanks for the video. It’s helping with the next update for iPhone 4. I’ve only got updates below version 9 and I can’t download all apps because of this. And once I’ve downloaded I may even get to fix the other problems it had with safari and App Store by restring through iTunes like u did in the video so thanks.

Shouldn't you be able to do this from your phone without plugging up your computer with a backup?
yes you are right but, this way called hard resetting in case you forgot your pass-code or your device freezes!
the way you talked about it's called soft reset it's just few taps to get reset.

Im in a situation where I may have a currupt file and my phone goes crazy most the time. I may be able to make it into settings. Are you refereeing to the soft reset with the buttons or is there an actual way to reset the phone in settings?
Yes that’s exactly why I’m so frustrated with this purchase. It’s my first iPhone and it’s a little infuriating to see such a simple step on any other phone can be over complicated. It’s easy to do just really tedious compared to ANY other phone. Taking this junk back and getting a real phone. Screw Apple

regarding to your issue I'd love to help you to fix your issue
possible solution 1-try to unplug the sim card and plug it again
possible solution 2-go to settings -> reset -> reset network settings
possible solution 3-go to settings-> phone -> turn off automatic/and turn it on again.
possible solution 4- turn on airplane mode a couple of times and then turned off.
and reboot your device should fix it for most of the time
anyway, please let me know which solution worked for your issue, or if you have discovered a new method to solve it

Is this what you would do if you are selling the phone to wipe everything? I did the reset without connecting to a computer (in the general settings), does that wipe everything?

Would this erase jailbreak? Because that's the reason why I need this. Regular resetting doesn't work for some reason
