- In this video i show you how to do a hard reset on a iPhone 7 plus. How to enter recovery mode to reset the iPhone 7. The hard reset method also works on the iPhone 7 plus. Resets to factory settings. Clear all data off the iPhone 7 / 7 plus. Clears forgotten password. Also works on the iPhone 8 and 8 plus.
You can also use 4uKey ( bit.ly/2OZhLh5 ) to unlock iPhone XS/X/8/7/6/5C/4, when you forget password and iPhone is disabled.

We have been trying for almost 48 hours to reset my son's phone after he locked it up with a bad password. We downloaded several programs. Tried so many combinations of button pushes and nothing. Anne Thomas- me too that’s why I had to try and fix it myself. Get a computer that can download iTunes and reset your phone and when it’s done if you know your Apple ID and password than you should be able to get in.it worked but I had it backed up since January of 2019 so most of my things were lost but I think you’ll be fine so don’t panic tbh I was crying too

For iPhone 8 and later, the initial button press sequence is slightly different. After connecting to a computer, do the following:
1) Quick-press the VOLUME UP button first, then quick-press the VOLUME DOWN button. Finally, hold the POWER button to get a black screen. Keep holding the POWER button.
2) Continue holding the POWER button, and you will see the Apple logo appear. Keep holding the POWER button.
3) Release the POWER button after the screen shows the "Connect to iTunes" icon.
If you are on iPhone 7 what I did was I kept it plugged in my computer for iTunes, then While holding the power button, I quickly pressed volume up then I pressed and held the volume down button with the power button that I was already holding down to begin with. So basically your gonna wanna hold those down through the whole thing and boom it had to be factory reset

tysm for posting this video but I had one question. I was at the screen where my Mac was downloading info on the phone and there was just a little circle showing how the phone was updating. After it finished downloading the iPhone tab closed and now my phone is blank and I can't turn it on or access anything from my Mac... help?

Thank you so much!!! Can’t even put into words how much you saved my life!!! This really helped. One thing I want to mention though is disabling firewall and antivirus before doing this is vital. I tried this twice and it was not working and then I disabled firewall & antivirus and tried this again. Finally worked. Thank goodness! So if anyone is struggling, disable firewall, antivirus and just make sure you have the updated version of iTunes and follow the instructions in this video and it should work! Once again, thank you very much!!!!

Thanks! I've been looking at the comments, and this video seems pretty good. So hopefully it helps me out. I did a factory reset just to see how it was like. Big Mistake. I ended up getting my phone disabled because i forgot the pass code. I've been pretty bored because it's been disabled for almost a week now so i couldn't use it in school. Btw, i'll update my comment to let you know if your video helped or not XD.

Adding that this won't work if the phone is still linked to another Apple ID AFTER taking us through the factory reset was very sucky. My daughter received this phone as a gift from her grandparents and a month later her account locked. When she went to unlock it, her options were to do it through her iCloud email or with her security questions. When we tried doing it through the email, it says that unlock instructions have been sent, but when we try to sign in to her iCloud email, it says we cannot access it without unlocking her account. So, we tried the security questions. Unfortunately, she went to set the phone up with my husband and he didn't ask her what she used as security questions and answers. She can only remember the answer to 1 of the questions. So, we cannot get in that way either. It has been 8 months since she got locked out and it has been inconvenient bec she cannot use the app store or access her music, however, she was able to still use the phone for texting and calling and the few apps she downloaded right after receiving it. Today, after another failed attempt for account recovery over the phone with Apple, I found your video and was hoping to start over with the phone and create a new Apple ID for her. I'm sure most Apple users know that this isn't possible, but I didn't because my daughter is the only person in our household with an iPhone. So, I went through with your instructions and my heart sank when I got to the point where you said all the steps you had me take were pointless without unlocking her phone. So, the phone was wiped and now, with her account still locked, we cannot even sign in to be able to use the phone AT ALL. No calling, texting, NOTHING. It's a paper weight, just like you warned at the END of your video. This really sucks.
