DFU takes a few tries before it actually works *hint* wait for the screen to completely turn black before letting go of the power button and it should most definitely work. This was a great video and a really great alternative of the recovery mode, not a bot. Yes this does work!

Thank you, this worked for me (Sept 2024) - completed reset of iPhone 15 refused to work keeps crashing but the DFU worked then was able to reset to factory.
I tried the Reboot option so many times and it never works all that happens is I access recovery mode but as soon as i opt out of Recovery mode it starts bootlooping again
Every thing works but the last bar were it shows the Apple logo the very last one it gose like half way then shuts off then take me back to iPhone is locked to owner I need help please

Also i was cleaning the attic and found my ipad yet i forgot the passscode to it,, i got in 2018 but back then i had a different user name and password... its got me on owner lockkk.. what can i do to log back in or get passed it ive tryied so many ways trying to keep what was on it but im at the point idc anymore,,, cus everything i did or done hasnt worked please help!!! at a dead end....

What if you have a PC? I notice your connecting to a Mac in the video. I went to login to one of my ID's on the phone got into changing my password but instead it put me in Account Recovery. Apple says they can't get my account out of this and I have to wait now for two weeks to fix the password on my ID. This is bullshit and whoever thought of this Account Recovery instead of allowing you to enter a new password should be canned.
