Friends,
This is a Math video. This is our third webisode (WB-3) on "Series 9 -- Areas of Parallelograms and Triangles".
In this video, we learn that if we draw more than one parallelogram with same base (or equal bases) and in between same two parallel lines, then the areas of all those parallelograms (drawn) will be equal.
We go ahead and prove this theorem.
This video is suited for class-9 (Class-IX) or grade-9 kids.

Friends at Rising Pearl

Hi Ragini,
Last month, I have launched a new website called dailymathpro.com/.
I post one new Math question everyday. Anyone can answer the question in the comments section. Everyone is encouraged to do so. It is free to use and no registration is required.
The very next day, I post the answer to the previous day's question and the new question for that day.
This will greatly benefit anyone who is interested in Math and is preparing for competitive exams. The questions are designed to make student think outside the box.
2 days ago, we launched the first Math Quiz. It is a 30-min timed quiz containing 15 questions. The user is required to register to take up the quiz (registration is free).
There is also a facebook group and a twitter handle (urls below). Please join me and check it out. If you do so, pls share your thoughts / feedback.
Cheers,
Roy

Rajeev - Glad you liked the video. Thanks for the wonderful comment. Cheers,
the video is awesome but I didn't fing a theorem a parallelogram and a triangle are on same base and between same parallels then area of triangle is half of that of parallelogram, please publish this theorem, I'm having lots of confusion in this
Hi Sreedevi,
Thank you for those kind words. I very much appreciate it. Regarding your question, I must admit I have not created a video that directly addresses your question. However, please check out the following video:
ruclips.net/video/bahX9PnAnDQ/видео.html
In that video, we are looking to prove that - area of a triangle is half the product of base and corresponding height. As part of proving that theorem, we actually first prove the fact that "area of triangle is half of that of parallelogram" (by 12th minute) and then the original theorem. Please take a look at that video and let me know if that resolves all your doubts.
Cheers,
+dostotussigreatho thank you. I have understood :)
