Friends,
This is a Math video. This is our twelveth webisode (WB-12) on "Series 7 -- Triangles".
In this video, we learn that in any triangle, sum of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.
Then we go ahead and prove this.
This video is suited for class-9 (Class-IX) or grade-9 kids.
Cheers,
Friends at Rising Pearl
thnkx bro you have clear my concept
Bro nice teaching I really understood.i saw many videos I didn't understand .hats of bro🙏

Thanx bro you solve my situation
Hi Amrit,
I am glad you liked the video and found it helpful!

Hi Amrik,
I wanted to share that last month, I have launched a new website called dailymathpro.com/.
I post one new Math question everyday. Anyone can answer the question in the comments section. Everyone is encouraged to do so. It is free to use and no registration is required.
The very next day, I post the answer to the previous day's question and the new question for that day.
This will greatly benefit anyone who is interested in Math and is preparing for competitive exams. The questions are designed to make student think outside the box.
Pls do check it out as you may find them helpful.
Cheers,
Thank you so much sir
While we take two sides 2 and 2 cm. We take the third side 10 cm then Is this theorem wrong on that if we choose two sides 2 and 2 cm only
Hi Prashant,
This theorem will ALWAYS be true! Can we actually draw a triangle with sides 2 cm, 2 cm and 10 cm? No. One way to think about that is image a straight line AC = 4 with B as mid-point. So, we have AB=2 and BC=2. Now, let's pretend to bend AB and AC so that we can make a triable ABC. As we bend points A and C, their final length AC will be always shorter than (4). Try it out and let me know what you find. Hope it helps!

But if we talk about equilateral triangle then all the sides are equal so we can't say that the sum of two sides is always greater than the third side
Hi Jagdish, Yes, we can ALWAYS say that the sum of any two sides of a triangle is always greater than the third side. Even in an equilateral triangle, say each side = x. Then sum of 2 sides = x + x = 2x. Now, sum of 2 sides (2x) > third side (x). Hope that helps! Cheers,
Thanks
Gggggg sum of 2 sides will be and be greater than the 3 side that's common sense
The voice was really irritating me 🤐
You are welcome!
Cheers,
Thanks for you😀😂😁😂😁😂🙄☺
Thanks sir my concept is clear

nyc explanation
nice one very good explanation👍👍👏👏
Hi Randhir, I am glad you liked the video! Cheers,
Is sum of any two angles of a triangle always greater than the third angle?
yes if this is not happen then the triangle would not be formed
No
No
l really appreciate your effort
What is the reason to add C and D?
To proof that theorm ,we need to do it
👍
Thanks Shanthy! Cheers,

I'm impressed, I wants to learn
First learn English.
Then can you explain a triangle with dimension 1 2 and 5 where 1+2 1
Ashwini Nir the triangle will not formed
prove that vertically opposite angles are equal
mst sir garda padhai
sum of any two sides of a traingle is gteater than twise the median drawn to the third side???
Haalo dosto 😅😅😅😅
Nice
You are very welcome! Cheers,
very nice solution
Thanks Kunal. Glad you liked it! Cheers,
thx
Hi Dean,
You are very welcome!
Cheers,
@@dostotussigreatho it helped me with some tricky math questions
btw I've watched some of your other videos there really cool!
The thing that side opposite to bigger angle is better bigger comes from this theorem only, so I don't think this is a valid proof
thank you so much
Neelam - You are very welcome! Cheers,
dosto
thank u soo much I have understood very well in here then school
Explanation is vry fantastic
Bhai (difference of any two side is less than the third side) iska video nikalo plzz maine subscribe bhi kr diya hai
If, AB + AC > BC
Then, BC + AC > AB
Therefore, BC > AB - AC
