    Friends,
    This is a Math video. This is our fifth webisode (WB-5) on "Series 7 -- Triangles".
    In this video, we learn "AAS" or "Angle-Angle-Side" congruence rule.
    We learn when we can say that any two given triangles ABC and PQR (say) are congruent as per AAS congruence rule. Then we prove AAS congruence rule.
    We also see that if two triangles are congruent, then their corresponding sides and angles are also equal.
    This video is suited for class-9 (Class-IX) or grade-9 kids.
    Cheers,
    Friends at Rising Pearl

      Hi Rafiq,
      I wanted to share that last month, I have launched a new website called dailymathpro.com/.
      I post one new Math question everyday. Anyone can answer the question in the comments section. Everyone is encouraged to do so. It is free to use and no registration is required.
      The very next day, I post the answer to the previous day's question and the new question for that day.
      This will greatly benefit anyone who is interested in Math and is preparing for competitive exams. The questions are designed to make student think outside the box.

    Hello Sir , My question is why cant we take AB=PR ? As we can take any pair of corresponding sides.

    • @manjupaul7355
      @manjupaul7355 3 года назад

      That's because we don't need to flip the angle PQR into its mirror image. If we had to flip it, that time we could have said that AB=PR.

    • @anoushkasingh1062
      @anoushkasingh1062 6 лет назад

      It is the AAS congruency. In ASA congruency, angle B = angle Q, angle c = angle r and BC = QR

  • @sauravspillai3211

    why is it ASA While we directly go AAS

    • @dostotussigreatho
      @dostotussigreatho  8 лет назад

      Hi Dhanush,
      Not sure if I understand what your question is. ASA is when we have two angles and included side same in two triangles (ASA). When we have any two angles and any one side same in two triangles, it is AAS. Hope that helps!
