I never leave comments but I am running 24 h race in half a year. Had a bad run today so doing some indoor bike and looked up this word on RUclips. Came across your video from like 2 years ago and before committing to it decided to check if you are still active. Now I’m here 😂
Hey Holly!! That was awesome!! I’m ‘the guy’ from loop 3 😂. I’m so happy to hear that was a pick me up for you!! It definitely helped me out on that loop. Awesome job!! Thanks again for the picture 🙌🏽
Holly this is only the second video of yours I have watched and a statement you made moved me to tears “You cannot let yourself get in the way by assuming you know what’s going to happen”. I needed to hear that. Thank you!
Congratulations on the finish. I was one of those people who DNF'ed after 3 loops this year and your comments ring true about needing self drive/grit to keep pushing for yourself. Great work
I logged in on the live stream a couple of times and followed along with you throughout the race, I managed to check just as you were finishing! It looked brutal at best, dry desert, cacti, rocks,...! But the aidstations really did seem well organized and the finishline surrounded by those party tents was just amazing to watch (drone footage) A huge amount of respect for you to complete this and as you say, you really need to do this because you want to, not to please somebody else. In regards to the headlamp, we run with a type of chest-band lamp, perhaps that could help you with the disoriented feeling a headlamp gives you. Well done you! And thank you for this recap, I was looking forward to hearing your experiences through this desert run!
I'm so glad you did this recap video, well done and great points! Awesome accomplishment for sure and happy your recovery has gone well. I saw in the Javelina results that Gene Dykes finished the 100 miler, I think he's around 75 years old. Amazing! I'm a decade younger than him and the two of you really inspire me to put one foot in front of the other, despite dealing with chronic health stuff. Thank you 🙏🏃♀️💪
Congratulations on your 2nd 100 miler! I've never done a 100 miler, most I'm sticking to are 50K. I've actually got my RVA marathon tomorrow then my 50K in Farmville,VA. I agree nutrition is key and that's been the biggest game changer for me. Keep doing all the amazing things you are doing in life!
That is amazing and so inspiring. I just did my first Marathon and it feels incredible I can only imagine completing two 100 milers. Just WOW!! Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
What an amazing testimonial about your race! I'm amazed at your resilience saying you could have easily run 3 days later. Congratulations on your second century Holly!
Thank you Holly! Absolutely loved this video. I totally feel what you were saying was reflected in the marathon part of my last Ironman race. Always forward, forward always.
Congrats on finishing and feeling strong about it. I am not at a place where I could run 100 miles but i love watching your videos and I have started running again and am following one of your plans too (did 4 miles today and felt good about it)! Thanks for sharing with us!
Yes, my initial thoughts are always, "wow, 100 miles is crazy", then I'm eager to watch the Coach Holly documentary on how she did it, but not only how she did it, but the results of her self described: This is an amazing accomplishment, the mental toughness and discipline to get you through the race, and even the added 15 lbs of muscle that gives you the physical prowess to come out of this race, in good shape, and with a fast recovery. Awesomeness, I just watched the "tapering vlog" before this one, and commented how: "your eyes are really blue, and clear, and you look really healthy". Now I see that I wasn't wrong with that assessment. Have a fantastic weekend Coach Holly.
I was listening to you on the way down to packet pickup and you said headlamp. Oops. I didn't bring one. Luckily they were giving out tiny flashlights at pickup. Thanks for the reminder.
Awesome race and video you just did. 🎖☀ i would like to share my game changer about foot care, it is Xoskin xotoes 5.0 toe socks, since i wear those on my long runs and race, there is no coming back ever with normal socks during something longer than 21k. 3 years and zero issues i just forgot about my feet prep other than if crazy wet condition ill apply shea butter slightly on areas of my feet and ankles that are subject to be sensitive according of the pair of shoes i wear that day. i wish for you the same. 🤝💕☀
Hey Coach, haven't seen anything in a bit from you in great content. Watching some of your old stuff when you were on that "other channel." Hope all is well and we get some new stuff soon!
Amazing work! I am so inspired ❤ I also get vertigo from using a headlamp so I now have a waist light instead. For blisters and chafe, I know someone who swears by silicon-based sex lube. It’s designed to not degrade in hot, sweaty, frictiony conditions. I’ve never tried it but mb it’s worth giving a go!

Well done.
Come to South Africa to run Comrades marathon. It's an ultra marathon, we call it the ultimate human race, it will humble you.
Huge kudos on this accomplishment 🎉.
You rock! Thanks for your content. New subscriber looking to do my first 100 miler this October!
Woo! So happy to have you here and to see you finish in October!
Amazing accomplishment. Congrats 🎉 How many marathons did you run before you did your first 100 miler? Are you going to do more?
Is running your only sport or do you do biking, swimming, martial arts, etc.? Great job on your 100 miler!
Inspiring.
Congrats. You’re amazing. I’m still struggling with a 5K. Thanks for your advice ❤
my headlamp makes me dizzy too during races, but I was okay during normal night training...not sure why. Maybe it is the duration

Way to go Holly!
100miles is about 160km’s…that’s amazing! Congratulations 🎉
I’ve never clicked so fast.
Congrats Holly!!Do you think it’s possible to do a race like this with just a pit crew- no pacers?
Congrats on that achievement. I'm still thinking about doing a marathon in 2025.

Hey! Thanks for checking in :) took some R&R at the end of the year and now back to filming. You’ll be getting new stuff in February - can’t wait!!
@gofarsogood can't wait, Coach! Nothin' wrong with some self-TLC. Thanks for getting back :)

They told people that parking was short and to car pool, plan extra time, ect in the race meeting they put on RUclips:/
Thanks Christina! I'll pay better attention next time..
