@@pardesidoctor9606 there are 2 common errors people make using their phone.. when you record, and play it back, you have to unplug the Rx from the phone to hear it back... the other thing is if you are using your phone with a case, sometimes its not plugged in all the way.
When using iphone what setting we must do ? Recording :- Stereo , mono or Safety Channel Receiver gain :- How much DB ? Volume :- DB ? Low cut :- On or Off ? Transmitter gain :- How much DB ? Rec Stop Lock :- Off or On ? Auto record :- Off or On ?
That swipe up from each side (TX1 and TX2) to record from the receiver was HUGE! I couldn't figure out how to choose which Transmitter. Thanks for solving the mystery for me.

I've had my DJI Mic for a while. I use it with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and the Osmo Action 3 (both with USB C to 3.5mm Female Adapters). It's a great setup. I'm going to start using it during shoots with clients. It will be a lot more convenient than the wireless mic systems (and countless AA batteries) that I've been using for years. I learned some new things in this video. Thank you for all the helpful info.
@@Al-Kwadrone It recognizes a hotter signal and seems to adjust internally, but you should always monitor your levels, especially with some line-level inputs that run very 'hot'. You might even need attenuation with some signal sources (unless you're taking a headphone out and can adjust that level manually).
Tested mine yesterday for hours with media mod, 2 lav mics, rode directional shotgun mic, gopro mic adapter and the DJI transmitter mics with a gopro hero 10 and 9 black - stand alone gopro sound = quite roomy and dull but loud enough with no adjustment, not recommend. Gopro with media mod = roomy with slightly better sound but still not recommend for great audio. The lav mics with media mod or mic adapter = clean, crisp and audio db good. The best sound by far was with gopros with media mod / mic adapter and DJI mics with no gain on gopro /"standard mic" setting and no db gain on DJI mic RX or TX = lav mics (AKG & VOJO) clear, crisp, good db, no ambient background just focused on good full vocal audio, superb sound quality - DJI mic = clear, crisp, good db with more background audio..... But very clean (could hear footsteps but nothing if still)... Very good for voice audio and action / activity audio. RODE shotgun mic (not powered) = clean, crisp directional voice audio but db too low on standard setting, used gopro setting "standard mic +"..... This is the problem that is similar to this vid but not the connection cable, as other comments state "certain cameras" may have issues but this may be solved as I did. Problem caused by camera gain BUT NOT DJI GAINS on dji reciever or transmitter. Turn go pro gain to "standard mic" use DJI reciever or transmitter db gain to boost the audio db = clean, crisp good db audio with no noise =*= the camera gains cause issues and the dji unit can be adjusted to combat this. These test where both done indoor and outdoor. The gain on both DJI rx and tx was +5 to +7 db gain (of +-12) this gave the RODE mic the same volume as all the other tested combinations. Hope this may help and clarify some unknowns to some folks.

I just got mine this week... the only thing that's missing from DJI Mic is to have the multi-interface cold shoe clip like the sony ECM-B1M microphone... That way we had to use the 3.5mm cable and the sound could be digital

Thx for the question. its actually very simple, you plug it in using the USBc connector and it shows up as an audio source that you can select on your live streaming platform. Hope that has helped.

Great quick video and right to the point. The part about the cold shoe mount was very good. I watched a bunch of DJI mic videos about how that thing went on, but to no avail. For live streaming, what system is there to monitor what the other person is saying, if they are not next to you? For example, commenting on a sports game on each side of the field. So we are not on camera, so we can have any type of headphones on and any type of microphone?

Here is a feature I keep looking for that I can't seem to find.... I record tennis matches with my Osmo Action 3. The inbuilt microphone of the OA3 doesn't do a good job of catching the players call out their scores. What I want is to be able to have a microphone catch the game play and at the same time use a bluetooth earbuds play the audio real time from my phone that is running the mimo app to control the OA3. Make sense?
Great feature update. A bit misleading intro showing the receiver next to the GoPro even tho the GoPro will not capture sound from the DJI receiver. I wish it could without the GoPro Adapter.

I’m not able to get the DJI Mic to start or stop iPhone videos. ☹️ I updated the DJI’s firmware & I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Thoughts? PS: The audio works/sounds great when I use the record button on the phone, but it would be REALLY handy to be able to start/stop with just the transmitter button.
Thank you for your comment. I just tried to double check and it still works, I hit the link button to start and stop, if it’s not working for you, maybe there is something in your iPhone settings disbanding it. I hope that helps let me know how you get on.

So I’m going to test it on a friend‘s phone this evening or tomorrow and then I’ll respond to DJI and I’ll go from there. DJI released a new firmware update on January 4, 2023 so I tried that new firmware as well with no luck. I looked through my phone’s camera/video settings and I don’t see anything that would prevent this from working. My phone will start/stop videos via the volume button, so I’m not sure what the issue might be. PS: Are you using a 14 Pro Max?

Thanks for the video on the DJI wireless microphone. I am using a Sony PXW-Z90V 4K HDR XDCAM with Fast Hybrid AF and when I connect my DJI wireless to the camera I get awful buzzing interference. I have tried a number of cables as that is what was suggested from my research. Just wondering if you have had this issue and any ideas on how to fix it.
On point 3, if you link a 2nd DJI receiver to the same 2 mics from a different set, does that work? I'm wondering if I can have the signal from 2 mics be sent to 2 different receivers so one can feed into a soundboard and the other into a livestream phone.

Tip#13, the input on the transmitter can accept line level signals, like output from a laptop, cellphone or mixer (not speaker level though).
Does it adapt to a line level automatically or do you adjust the level in settings?

#4 can also be done over usb-c. Super helpful for video calls on the go in group settings.
