Hey teach a diplo that has 30 points into health is around 12k health and increases by 5.4% each level up. Thats 648 hp per level up. 648 x 88 level ups is 57,024 hp. 57,024 + 12000hp base health is 69,024 health after fully leveled up. These are official server settings. When u test on single player the stats are boosted. Please use official settings before putting these videos out. I dont know what the stats are on singleplayer but the dinos get alot more in every level on singleplayer.
yea but try fitting this into a rathole or a cavebase and you'll see why the tiny tanky stego and carbo remain supreme. ark is in a point where, if the diplo is a viable raid tool, its probably an easy raid anyways.
Just push their tail into tower turret range and then tek rek or tape the turrets. I see a use for them to drop towers, but stegos are better

No hate, you have a lot of good content! You have many amazing and useful videos, but this is not one of them! Stats doesn’t work like that on oficial! Not even 10 generation bronto get to 200k HP, and I am 100% sure a tame diplo won’t even pass 50k hp (and even that is a lot). Maybe after many generation it could pass 100k, maybe even get close to the 300k hp after 256 mutations on health but even like that, stegos, trikes, gasbags, paras are way better than a Diplo! Otherwise believe me , everyone would be using Diplos! Stegos are just OP for that job, they have a natural armor that give them a damage reduction, protect the rider from most angles, allows the rider to use weapons. Para have damage reduction agains tek turrets, have a platform saddle. Trikes takes like 80% less damage to the head, have mate buff, big carnivores buff. Gasbags takes less damage when full or air.
Like health is important for a tanky dino, but there are more important factors like damage reduction and buffs! Also how easy and how much space the dino takes at the time of breeding and raising them, like Diplos take the space and time that 2 stegos would need.

@@dromerd1420 our us PvE players that were baptised in the fire of unofficial pvp servers. I don't think I saw a single base of a tribe that a Diplo could even get near. Maybe a diplo could be viable to take out someone's styder parking spot, but that's about it.
And they fit nowhere. I hope to god people start using these they are turd. Also I think megachelon take reduced damage can climb almost vertical cliffs go underwater, they have plat saddles and can easily break 100k health when leveled

@teachers Game Too please look for your imprint settings there is no way these are the vanilla imprint setting with the 20% there is no chance that a diplo with 33 / 1300 weigth jumps with vanilla at 37/ 4200 just with imprinting. so the same goes for HP.
254 points into hp and 100% imprint gets 105.5k hp base, according to smart breeder. Somethings def wrong with his settings.
Normal tamed diplo150lv with added levels gets 40-50k health

I'm not into PVP, but I never knew these giant puppies could be useful for PVP.
Good bullet sponges but you can easily be shot off them. It's a lot harder to get shot while riding a stego and you can c4 or shoot a rocket off a stego.
Yeah you don’t understand it’s easy to be shot off but if you back up there’s less of a chance to be shot off and if you still get shot whistles exist now if the people who are deffending put only survivors on than you -

I would suggest additional testing with fully constructed Deathwalls or towers for more accurate soaking than just a few turrets on the ground.
Great vid no hate at all but what about turrets on players only? Can the saddle protect you like a stego kinda can? Does it take headshot damage etc. Hp is great but it only helps if your not getting shot

To everybody reading this DO NOT use these as soakers it wouldn’t work well for you just tame a few tek stegos.

@@R0salance a stego takes reduced damage when shot by turrets due to the hardened plate mechanic and on small tribes the lines go up to 164k health you are also protected from turrets by the plates. A diplo will get torn apart if a base has more than 10 auto turrets while a stego could easily tank over 20 tek and heavy turrets.
i just spent a couple hours looking for and taming a 140. it has 12.6k health. is this video bs or did they nerf them just recently?

My stegos are 134000 hp with cap saddles idk if those guys would be practical in a raid. It is a good idea but you need to have a lot of time in breeding to get them to a point where you would actually pick that over a stego.
Thats a top stat stego over a wild tame diplo lmao. Top stat diplos can eaisly get 500k hp pop with no imp top stat
I still use these in PVE to ride while I'm leveling other dinos. I just wait to get attacked and sit back
Stegos are better, mainly because it's easy to shoot someone off the diplos
we used these in the lava cave on rag they are the dest defense ever, NO ONE could get poast them, evenb gigas get pushed into the lava by them

I went and tamed and bred some after watching this and on tame had 30 points in hp with imprint had 15k hp and only goes up by 800 a point? How they get such high hp im not sure
You just opened a can of worms to come lol
While it might soak up a lot of damage, rexes and gigas already soak up a lot as it is. And it doesn't make for challenging gameplay because you have little risk of losing (In PVE at least). This in turn makes repetative and boring gameplay in the long run. With little risk for high (or average) reward in regards to PVE. When a higher risk situation would otherwise mantian tension and replay value in PVE situation.
PVP wise it drags fights out. Which could work there. But I only really see this working in fights with players that have at least multiple dinos and players to make use of a tank to get in others to do their tasks as well. This would work great with organized fights with battlelines on both sides as they close in on each other. Get some fights like that organized and see the results. I think it will be entertaining and fun.

Not worth it. You want damage for the overseer fight and these have none. Besides, it's easy enough to use pheremone darts and bullets to pull the majority of mobs into the lava.
The only thing anywhere near these are probably the titans in health

I know these are PVP Soaker-Oriented, but how long would they last on Extinction on a 100k OSD as an Aggro Sponge?
They can survive 4 OSDs smashing them in the face.

Try 1 with 252 hp mutation and than level alll the way in HP
i have to disagree. i had a run with these and deodic's testing their soaking abilities. both are not as tanky as you would like as they both take much more damage per shot than any other standard soaker. its enough that they get melted before the useful aspect comes into play
do these things go into boss fights? I would definitly try these on lost island boss

As a veteran I left them alone before the kibble update. But now that kibble is easier to make, this dino will rise up the pvp chart.
