I think some people just don’t get why some of us prefer the raw and visceral nature of the Venom F5. Sure a Bugatti is more refined, but for some of us this is the kind of beast that makes ICE’s awesome. I want to feel like the engine is strapped to my back as I mash the throttle.
Most of the car is actually built in Britain with the engine coming from America. Have to admit, it looks gorgeous! They styling isn't overdone. The dashboard scuttle is super low and the view outside is great! Gearbox feels savage, the click is so satisfying. And it corners so well too. That cross plane V8 sounds monstrous. At idle it simply burbles but then when it comes alive....
Car sounds amazing can’t wait to see what this beast will do against the mighty Chiron super sport 300+. I cannot wait hopefully someone will do an awesome drag race with Bugatti koenigsegg and Hennessy hopefully soon
About the explaination that this car is faster than the Bugatti and Koenigsegg. Well, the Bugatti Bolide is tied with the F5 and the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is faster than the Hennessey Venom F5
They should've extended some of that accenting and stitching to the dash! The interior has nice lines and colors along the doors and seats then they just... stop... at the dash.
It's sad that this car with so much raw power and a beautiful body has such a sterile interior. Affordable? Absolutely, desirable? Not particularly. I can't fathom spending that much money on a car with a pair of ipads for a dash! If there is an option for a Horacio Pagani redesigned dash with elegance, I'd be. Interested.

The older car is much better looking then this new one. Even though it was a louts extended in both directions it was widened and stretched longer, pretty sure the new one is a lot faster and technically more advanced but as far as the looks the first generation wins by a lot.

Hate to break it to you, Bugatti don't have any racing pedigree as compare to the like of Mercedes or Ferrari. Bugatti are no more than just a company who create fast car for millionaires. Tuatara on the other hand even though with some controversies. Tuatara have real super engineer. If you don't know those who build Tuatara also build the fastest land vehicle the Thrust Ssc!

This thing has more vibration and noise in the cabin standing still at idle than a Chiron does while doing 200 km/h. I'm tired of people calling basically low quality DIY kit cars competitors to masterpieces of engineering like Bugatti just because they have similar power, or similar top speeds, or whatever other irrelevant spec on paper. Cars are far more complex than that, and this thing has cheapness and "that'll do" written all over it, especially in the interior, not even remotely comparable to high quality, properly built products like Bugatti's or other proper hypercars. So yea, this thing isn't good enough to be in the same sentence with a Bugatti no matter how fast it is in a straight line. Anyone who doesn't agree with that or doesn't understand why that is, is so clueless about cars and engineering they should just keep their opinions to themselves in the future.

However, the cars an original design, they're not borrowing the chassis from another platform. You certainly can't order parts and assemble one yourself, so kit car just doesn't fit. The F5 coupe is also like $800,000 less than a Chiron. The Roadster seems to be about the same price or slightly more.
Making a car blisteringly fast is relatively easy these days but getting it to that quietly and in comfort and reliably...now THATS where the Bugatti is in a totally different league. The Hennesey is a raw racer experience and you have plenty of choices for that these days (rimac: koenigsegg: mclaren: GMA: Aston Martin etc) ...the Bugattis are not aimed at that kind of experience so can't really be compared.
You can clearly see that the car needs atleast 4 -5 seconds from 60mph to 120mph starting from 4:12. So it's far away from the claimed 2 seconds from 60 mph to 120mph. I generally think that Hennessey lies about the performance numbers. I don't believe it can do 0 - 400kph in 15.5s! I mean a Rimac Nevera needs over 21s as well as Koenigsegg Regera.
