Pokémon Renegade Platinum is a catch-em-all advanced difficulty romhack of Pokémon Platinum created by Drayano!
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch Starter Pokémon (inludes Starters from LGPE).
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode

Tbh RenPlat is maybe the easiest and most QOL heavy drayano hack. Not to say it isn’t impressive

@@user-uv2cp1qd1j it's definitely the least encounter-dependent. in Blaze Black and the Redux it's like if you don't get certain encounters early-game you have basically no chance of the run progressing. RenPlat has so many strong encounters that even though it's really hard, if you're a good nuzlocker it's way easier than most romhacks

What even are all the horse pokemon? All i can think of is Kantonian/Galarian Rapidash, Mudsdale and Zebstrika. If you really want to stretch the rules i suppose Girafarig looks like a funny little horse too

Weird request, but could be cool to see a "copycat" nuzlocke where you challenge each gym with its own type. I think this is only possible in a few gens (and fun in even fewer) but Id love to see it none the less. Whatever you do next im looking forward to it!

Nice to see the starters get some love! They often get left behind in these runs either because they don't fit the type restriction or they get voted out of the snaplockes so giving them a chance to shine here in a ROMhack where they all get to be at their best is great! And every single one got a chance to lend a hand (even Sceptile)!

Typhlosion is in my top 3 faves so it was great to see him shine like this. It definately needs some love.

My favorite starter is actually the Popplio-Brionne-Primarina line. I really enjoy doing fairy mono-type challenges and I love the allusions to the Selkie of Irish/Scottish folklore in their design.

I've been rewatching (excessively) all of your narrated ROM hack nuzlockes recently, so when this came up this morning I was SO HAPPY!! I love all of your playthroughs, but your more "specialty" playthroughs (ROM hacks, randomized, co-op playthroughs with narration, gift Pokemon only, single stage only, Pokemon GO-based, no healing, no new moves etc) are my ABSOLUTE favourite and I've seen them all at least 4 times. Those ones probably take a lot more time/effort but I love them so much and appreciate all the work you put into them. I especially love your narration & storytelling, it brings the videos to a whole new level. I can't wait to see what other creative stuff you've been working on, and I hope to see some more ROM hack or randomiser playthroughs in the future. Thanks, FlygonHG for providing us with such creative & quality content, your nuzlockes are by FAR my favourite on YT and I wish I knew more creators with similar styles as you. Favorite starter has been Typhlosion ever since I first played Silver, I'm so happy they added a new form in PLA (and every romhack adds too many buffs lmao). Delphox is a close second though, love the shiny palette on him.

Favorite starter is probably Totodile. I've loved Godzilla since I was very young so seeing Feraligator for the first time when gold and silver came out I was like oh yeah ima use this forever. There's plenty of others that are top tier in design and use but the gator boi will probably always be my favorite.
Yeah, Totodile was my sister’s first starter ever, and she still loves it. I may or may not have gotten her a Totodile plushie for Hanukkah this year.

You know what I would like to see? A run where you can only use Mystery Dungeon starters. It’s an interesting group. Depending on the mystery dungeon you go with you get most of the starters, plus a few bonus guys like Riolu, Skitty, Munchlax, Meowth, Axew, etc. it’d be fun to see maybe an Eternal X run like this? Idk.
