Is this actual challenge though Shoving Megas and Legends in every 'hard' fight doesn't allow for much challenge, there is so many more interesting things you can do with team structure and strategy
@@keeganbanner3035 Finally, someone else that thinks like me. Shoving legendaries into every other mandatory battle or fully evolved (or their equivalents) into early gyms just feels like a cheap way of making games difficult.

@@Melee_Zer0 Yeah, but again, I don't think just putting in the strongest possible Pokemon is the most interesting way to make it more difficult. Like yeah, of course gym 2 is going to be difficult when you have to fight against fully evolved Pokemon, or gym 3 is difficult when the leader uses a legendary Pokemon The AI for advanced level tactics is probably lacking like you said, but you can still do things to counter that, such as improving Pokemon movepools, giving them move sets that complement their weaknesses, give things items to couple with their moves/weaknesses. Make teams that compliment each other and actually require team building to effectively beat, make fights double battles that make use of things like weather or trick room and give them ways of countering opposing weather
@@keeganbanner3035 that is definitely a more interesting way to increase difficulty, I agree with you there. Some romhacks do those things to an extent, but not all of them. I think more double battles in particular would be a lot of fun, they open up so many more options I wish they were used more

Hey, I've been watching your nuzlocke videos ever since your emerald grass monotype nuzlocke. And I just wanna say that I absolutely love the sense of humor that shines through your videos, often when I least expect it. There's a lot of great examples, but I honestly think the intro to your platinum nuzlocke with only baby pokemon is one of my favorite RUclips intros of all time. It's just great to see that you've stayed with this for 2 years now. Keep doing what you're doing.
My boyfriend and I love to watch you usually on discord since we’re long distance. But he’s come to visit me for the first time and i can finally watch your videos with him eating cheesecake next to me!! Love your vids!!
I somehow only just found your channel recently, but just wanted to say your videos have brought me immeasurable joy. You have an awesome attitude and a very entertaining style.
The fact that you managed to win this on the first attempt with only four deaths is insanely (ha) impressive! I'm excited to see what romhack you do next!
I laughed way too much this video. The way you mix amazing storytelling with jokes and ads that I actually want to watch (obviously because you are different than those other youtube squares) makes you by far the best poketuber on the platform.
So cool to see a truly challenging version of Kalos, and congratulations on getting through a romhack of this difficulty in just one attempt. Way to go, man.
Dang! Seeing Zapdos getting taken down by a freakin snail is hard. As a child, on my first pokemon yellow playthrough I spent ages trying to catch Zapdos and it kept sweeping my Team until 7 yo me chucked the masterball at it.
I LOVED the puppets this time around... especially the Stealth Rocks. This was a totally awesome run. I watched some of the VODs, but missed most of them, so I got to experience this epic tale mostly fresh. Thanks for yet another great video!
Rom hacks are my personal favorite nuzlocke challenges! I love the variety in Pokémon alongside the increased difficulty while still maintaining the atmosphere of the original games. Another amazing video flygon! Your production quality only improves with each new effort!
So excited for this!! I love Gen 6 with all my heart but watching regular nuzlockes in Gen 6 generally doesn't involve a lot of suspense because they're too easy. So this is gonna be such a fun time!!
I watched this whole run on the highlights channel and you still keep an hour long run entertaining even when I know everything that happens. You sir, are one of the best. I can’t wait for the next. Thank you Dr. HG
I think I watched up to the grass gym on the highlights channel before taking a break so I could watch this video when it came out. It was a lot of fun watching both halves of the content! It made me laugh real hard when all of delibird’s buffs allowed it to 1 shot a dragonite through multiscale. rom hacks sure are fun haha

Great video! It's cool seeing Nuzlockes that deviate from the usual battles of the main games. Have you considered playing fangames as well?
