Hello there. Thank you for your kind words towards DJI. Rest assured that we will continue to strive to provide better service in the future. If any DJI-related issues arise, please don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you for your support. Happy Flying!
Mine has a Gimbal problem so its a warranty issue, it went back Friday, (5 month old mini pro), it was hard to even lodge a warranty claim as it kept trying to make me pay the 99 dollars for a refresh, I finally got a chat agent to do the warranty claim for me, I am now waiting for it to turn up at DJI, and then I will see how long it will take to get back, and I have a 2 year warranty with two year refresh , but I figured as this is a warranty issue I am not going to pay 99 dollars for what is a malfunction with the drone itself. Thus its hasn't been smooth so far.. I am hoping I get this back quickly even though it's a warranty claim. The drone its self has been to Queensland and back and done 400kms of flawless flying (according to the logs) then one day a week again the gimbal starts locking off in strange positions, it never reported a malfunction, and I have done IMU, COMPASS AND GIMBAL calibrations with it checked latest firmware and it still keeps happening, its never had an impact or hard landing or anything like that, it just started happening at random times. You can see the footage here at 1:40 sec mark, ruclips.net/video/UZT4TnNpEjY/видео.html, Being such a new drone I hope they just replace the thing, and away I go again quickly....
@@N7DRONES Hi, sorry for reading about this feedback and for any inconvenience caused. May I know the case number/ reference number, if any? You could provide us and we will double-check with our relevant team. Looking forward to your reply, thanks.
Good to know, thanks Carl. I've had a sea eagle try to get my drone over the hawkesbury, managed to fly straight up and avoid it and get the drone back, but it was a close call....
Yeah, similar thing here, but i wrot with them pr mail, just a ordinary repair case, and it took a full month before we came to an agrement…on earlier cases i wrote in their chat, and agrement wa within minutes. Amd the insurance is not always the cheapest option, if you bargain the repair , you can get a drone cheaper
G'day Carl, from a fellow Lynx owner.. I travel a lot (and I mean a lot!) drones are becoming a real pest in many places with that incessant buzzing upsetting wildlife and people looking for peace. I recently spent 6 weeks in the outback and saw drones banned in Coward Springs, Yulara (Uluru) and Kings Canyon. Plenty of YT vids out there like yours of birds attacking drones. I love your footage mate and the Lynx but that noise! 😝

Drones around public spaces can be very annoying. I don't fly mine anywhere that people are about. Funny though, once the Mini 3 Pro is 20m in the air, I can't hear it. Maybe it's an age thing... 😜
Where do you live, I sent my damaged mini 4 pro into Dji and it took them 4 days to receive the item and hopefully I will get my new drone in a day or two. This was a Care Refresh Express Service Premium. Dji said that they had to wait till they received my old unit before they would send out a new unit. Thats not supposed to happen once you put one in the mail the company should already put the new one to you. I'm very disappointed in Dji program.
Best advise for a drone attack , go into sport mode and ascend at full power, birds attack from the above, and cant match the accent rate of a drone, so get above them, as quickly as possible... and fly away at hight and speed from them... I have birds come close to it, and I just made it ascend in sport mode, and they gave up instantly ....

Nice to see a good customer service story.
I agree Mal. Was a very nice surprise.
You were lucky you were able to retrieve it. Costs a bit more for a replacement for the Fly Away coverage. Glad you had a good experience.
Yeah, I was lucky it was only a foot or so deep.

Oooh, lucky. Bloody nature, eh? 🤣
I don't have care refresh but the Australian DJI service has been unbelievable fast and the communication supurb. Hope it stays this good
I've heard great things, and I've been told pricing for repairs is reasonable too.

It certainly can be a bit tricky at times.
How’s the timing, I just bit the bullet on a drone. Thanks for sharing Carl, will definitely be looking into the insurance. Cheers.
I can thoroughly recommend it Duane. DJI were awesome.

Not as much of a nuisance as dogs everywhere you go
@@tonnaboy10 yep, I'm with you on that mate. Endless barking, peeing and crapping everywhere. Horrible 😳

Hi TriumphTR6, I live in Sydney, Australia. Maybe the process is different for where you live but the service I received was exceptional.
Omg, what a nice shots~

Good tip. Thanks Normandy!

Thank you.
Hey did you need to activate care again on the replacement drone?
Hi Gudjonnet, no, the Care I purchased is valid for 2 years from the activation date.
I forgot to add that I did need to link the new drone to the controller. My account had the new drone details added by DJI.
What happens if the drone is unrecoverable? SOL?
Hi David, there is a $345 fee if your drone is unrecoverable. And SOL means?
@@CarlDubois $345 is worth it. SOL- Sh’t Out of Luck 😊
