- [4K] A look at a very creepy Fantasy Dream Train Ride at Lotte World Theme Park in Seoul Korea. The ride is pretty outdated and kinda creepy in some way. The creepiest of the ride is what makes the ride even more fun to ride.

Admission to the park is affordable at $50 per person. There are plenty of dark rides and thrill rides for the whole family to enjoy.

imagine being the only person on this ride when it’s close to closing hours and suddenly the whole place shuts down and everything is PITCH black and you forget your phone. horrifying.
and then imagine also getting diarrhea all of a sudden. that would be even worse...

The word “literally” is overused-but I would literally pay to do that.
They have a version of the ride where it’s dark and it look like a zombie apocalypse
YourLordAri! They don’t need that version for it to scare people.
In a few years this will be one of those creepy abandoned rides you see in documentaries and horror films and games.
When that happens, I hope all that plastic doesn't end up in the ocean.

funny thing is.. it's already really old and still creepy as new... kids hate it because it's so slow. so only some adults get in and laugh like crazy people. they redecorate it in halloween season. it will never abandoned.

Actually they used something from Disney. Anyone realize the Haunted Mansion bust effect from the library part? It created the illusion that the busts were following you. They did the same thing here in that aspect.
Honestly, you can tell so much love and care was put into this ride. There's so much attention to detail that you'd probably spot something new every time you ride it.

I don't know what's more unsettling:
- The fact that the viewer seems to be the only one on the ride
- The music and sounds playing over each other so much it becomes a tuneless cacophony of saccharine noise
- The over-the-top goofy grins and bug-eyed stares of all the character's faces
- How almost none of the characters are moving
- How the ones that are moving barely do so, and are stiff and robotic all the way
- The giant clown head that seems the most lively, and all it does is roll its eyes and gnash its teeth
I was thinking about why everything about this ride felt off and you just perfectly described all of the factors
I’m not gonna lie I kinda like it. I like how 95% of it isn’t screens and it’s all colorful and fun
But riding this alone would be creepy though
Totally agreed. This could be one of my favorite dark rides. The three-dimensionality of everything makes it even more fun.
you can tell they put a lot of genuine effort into it, every scene has a lot going on-- like you'd find something new every time you ride it
some parts seem like they'd be sensory overload but that's just me tbh. this ride kinda rules tho like i genuinely love ot
as creepy as it kinda is... there is so much detail especially the fair part at 4:30
True, the part with the carousel and other things was pretty detailed. If they had better animatronics, cuter characters and better music, it could be a pretty decent low brow 'Small World" style ride.

This used to be my favorite ride when I was a kid..Thank you for posting it! This ride actually turns into zombie ride during October, where zombies follow the train in that dark creepy corridor

That’s such a shame because I feel like so much work went into making this ride. But everything just seems so off... I was legit waiting for it to become a horror ride.

The longer you look at the candy cane faces, the angrier they look. Also the fact that the clown who swallows has moving eyes and teeth is nothing short of terrifying

Imagine this...
You ride this attraction late at night. (10:00/22:00) You can hear the music disorienting second by second, the ride slows down, and the lights start to flicker. You see the animatronics do unusual movements, and the emotion of their faces just change into an evil, but pleased face. The ride goes to a stop, and the lights power off. There is no one else on the ride except you. Silence falls, and you can hear no one coming to save you. You climb out of the cart but start to hear echoing footsteps. You feel relieved hearing that someone is going to save you, but you hear the clicking of shoes fade away. You're stuck. You grab out your phone, but there is no service. Gates rattle, and car engines start. You find out that the ride was not breaking down, the amusement park was closing. People forgot about you.
Thank you for reading all of this. I want to be an author when I grow up. I hope this story made your day, or gave you a little scare. I wrote this at night by myself and gave myself a bit of a fright!

I dunno...I didn't find it that creepy. The wizard's creepy, as are the clowns, but all in all it's just a very colorful acid trip.

It was legit the scariest/creepiest ride I’ve seen or been on, more so than actual horror rides. Entering through the clown mouth was weird, but I thought the balloons were kinda nice and then out of the darkness I see the huge man with the extended arm and my heart started beating fast with fear and it got worse as the ride progressed..lol

I’ve been to Lotte World in Seoul several times. I’m so glad we skipped this ride. The park is super fun, highly recommend it to anyone who can go.
In some ways I find this ride creepy & in some ways I find it charming. Either way, I'm really impressed with all the detail and things in each room. In the rooms with the lollipops there seems to be so much to look at!

i don't think this was intentionally terrifying, but it really was. 😂 the "amusement park" part of the ride, i think was a little bit too much? like so many colors and lights and i think the music was a bit weird at that part? and the ending room to me was odd. just. a dragon in a dungeon? that said, the detailing of this place is incredible.
Can’t tell if this is supposed to be cute but just turned out to be creepy, or supposed to be creepy with a child atmosphere. Like that giant clown face, giant person in the ball pit, and ghost “things” on the right at 4:18.

You know, this ride just feels like some people tried to make something cute and charming but it ended being quite disturbing for adults, this overwhelmingly naive and innocent place just looks too innocent for us.

Honestly the only parts that creeped me out were the two times you get eaten by a clown. Especially the second one since it looks like he's trying to bite you. Outside of that there's nothing scary about this ride. The animatronics are just very outdated.
What I want to know is who's idea it was to take a fully functioning Carousel and Ferris Wheel, and put them inside a dark ride so you can look at them for one room.

환타지 드림 최고!!!!!! As a fan of this ride and I still like it because I just love this kind of dark rides (and a small fact! This ride called as the 'fantasy dream' was built in 1993) but! This ride goes VERY CREEPY AND SCARY at halloween season. Because at halloween.... This ride turns in to a literal nightmare. A literal. Zombie. Nightmare....
Everland's global village (지구마을) still is my favorite ride! Because it was like the 'it's a small world' boat ride at disneyland/ world parks! now this ride is gone forever because the company who takes care of everland resort has no money to remake the whole ride....
