LMAO I love the spear A firearm that's keyhole-prone just inches from the muzzle has got a serious defect. Not hard to check though. For my AK I just got a thread adapter from the AK's left hand to my can's 5/8x24
@@ninjainflannel Your can has an adapter from what I see here, mine’s a cheaper direct-thread type. I’ve had the can almost ten years and the adapters are a pretty new thing
Mine came with the KNS already installed so I don’t actually know which one. And the I’m not sure if it will cycle or not. The kns doesn’t add pressure so your stock piston should give it full power. It will more depend on the back pressure of your can
What if you have an issue at number 3? Throw the rod down and it doesn't line up? Would I need to get a whole new barrel since I have the smaller 14x1L threads and I already need an adapter to 5/8-24. I figure there won't be enough meat on there to re thread it.
Took my AK out it was keyholing once but it didn't hit any of the suppressor I did have a lot of jams a lot of double feeds thoughts do I just need a adjustable gas piston
Most likely. I’d turn the gas up until it cycles well and then keep turning it down until it starts to jam then just go a few clicks back up for reliability and you’ll be golden. I’d look into that keyholing though. That can be concerning
@@ninjainflannel If you're going to remake this video, potentially research into face mounting shimmed muzzle devices for AKs that are offered, if you have not already. In my opinion this was not a great explanation for how to generally suppress an AK because one of the major concerns with suppressing AKs is the thread concentricity and lack of a proper shoulder because the threads can be a part of the gas block that is pressed onto the rifle. You did entirely negate this by sending your rifle off to get threaded by a reputable gunsmith, but not every AK owner wants to do this to their rifle for a variety of reasons. JMAC and Rearden offer many facemount options in a variety of QD options that require a concentricity rod to install but they seem to be able help with potential alignment issues. Not trying to be a hater, just want good info for suppressing AKs out there.
@simontudor1262 that’s really good information. Your correct that I didn’t have to think about that at all for my particular situation but if I look into that more the remake of this video could be helpful to more people. Thanks for the feedback. Good stuff
@@ninjainflannel Lol. What size KNS piston did you go with? Im trying to suppress my Zpap92 and want to make sure I get the right size. I can bust out the calipers but I figured id ask anyway. Lol Nice build man. I want to suppress my AK simply because all my dudes at the LGS say " Oh its almost impossible to suppress an AK! Definetly one with that short of a barrel!!" Lol
Ah yes, the proper bayonet for an ak 'pistol'
I’ve seen some videos where they say the suppressor destroyed their AK cause if all the pressure or something, is that true?
I haven’t seen that video but I agree that suppressing it without an adjustable piston beats the crap out of it
I love this lol why is this so good I’m drunk that’s what it is I’m very drunk I will update this comment …..sober ……
😂😂😂 thanks

Nice I considered an adapter but I found class 3 machining and just went that route.

@ajensen1427 yeah that’s true. The new “hub compatible” system is really nice
@@ninjainflannel You might do a video where you show how to remove the muzzle thread sleeve from an M92, I have one that needs done
Good info. Keep it coming
Thank, brother!
You're welcome!
Good info thanks dude! Question. If i surpress mine will it work nicely with the factory bolt and only subsonic ammo? 😊
Also, what KNS piston variant did you order. I have the same pap m92

@@ninjainflannel the keyhole could be because I propped the target up on the ground and I shot a bunch of guns so who knows
But I'll definitely keep an eye out for keyholing I'll definitely monitor it a lot more
How much was it to get it threaded?
I believe it was $150
can you check concentricity without the suppressor on? Or do you have to have the suppressor on first (aka own a suppressor)?@@ninjainflannel
Yeah as far as I know you need the suppressor on. I’m not a gunsmith but that’s how it is to my knowledge.
Nice video 👌🏻
This is some important crap!!! Save you a lot of trouble!
I wish i had an underground range😏
That would be cool
I just let Meridian defense build my ak, butter. :)
Nice! May not be as fun though
Sounds good if youre rich.
@Gregory-qu1ct 😂 yup
If i didn't thank You Before....THANK YOU
🫡 I’m going to remake this video soon with my new studio and better quality.

JMac Custom makes a muzzle break for it. I bought it and it’s aligned perfectly with my keymo adapter. I just haven’t shot it yet.
That gun is so damn sexy
😂 thanks man
