I'm a Christian, a Brit, living in Canada, and frequently embarrassed by what I see on news reports about American "christians". I also have some good friends south of the border who self-identify as Evangelical but who act very differently to how I believe Christ would have done - including their voting choices and their actions towards people they identify as "sinners". There is something very wrong in all this. The Church should stand apart from political arguments, and should only give a moral leadership. No-one in the Church should ever give support to a particular candidate or a particular Party, and should certainly never "endorse" one. I fully agree with this video's evaluation of the current situation, and I grieve for how America is distorting the good news that Jesus brought us, of inclusive acceptance and forgiveness.

that is a seriously good question that deserves an answer. May be you should ask God about that if you get a chance. My thoughts are that Christians are not perfect (often very far from it) , they are forgiven and ought to be trying every day to be as good as they can. But people are different, we have different personalities, different tastes and preferences, different circumstances... so it would be quite strange if we suddenly became like clones when we become Christians. God takes a very wide view of the whole world over thousands of years and from His perspective I suspect a lot of the things we say and do are like fleas on an elephant. What it takes is a total loss of reason. As I've said many times in my own episodes to my subs---It really comes down to the vast majority of Christians who have never read their own bible let alone researched its claims as well as fact checked the claims of the apologists. Because if you do research and fact check Strobel, Craig, McDowell and the rest of them, you'll find they aren't offering evidence for a resurrection like they claim but only speculation, usually bad speculation. Or they take one fact (IE we conclude Pilate existed) and create another to fit their worldview (IE Pilate existing proves the bible and Christ rose from the dead). Once you've been doing this for awhile, fact checking apologists, you start to see the same patterns and fallacies over and over. No-one in the Church should ever give support to a particular candidate or a particular Party, and should certainly never "endorse" one. that is a seriously good question that deserves an answer. May be you should ask God about that if you get a chance. My thoughts are that Christians are not perfect (often very far from it) , they are forgiven and ought to be trying every day to be as good as they can. But people are different, we have different personalities, different tastes and preferences, different circumstances... so it would be quite strange if we suddenly became like clones when we become Christians. God takes a very wide view of the whole world over thousands of years and from His perspective I suspect a lot of the things we say and do are like fleas on an elephant. Sadly there have always been evil and corrupt men who use religion to get what they want, and fools who are led astray, please don't mistake them for the majority.

What it takes is a total loss of reason. As I've said many times in my own episodes to my subs---It really comes down to the vast majority of Christians who have never read their own bible let alone researched its claims as well as fact checked the claims of the apologists. Because if you do research and fact check Strobel, Craig, McDowell and the rest of them, you'll find they aren't offering evidence for a resurrection like they claim but only speculation, usually bad speculation. Or they take one fact (IE we conclude Pilate existed) and create another to fit their worldview (IE Pilate existing proves the bible and Christ rose from the dead). Once you've been doing this for awhile, fact checking apologists, you start to see the same patterns and fallacies over and over. The problem with this video is that it focused on Political Story but it did not define the actual "meaning" of evangelism. Interesting history though; I still do not know what the actual divide between races stands for.

I think I have yet to see any religion represented with an entirely balanced or complete view. Part of the problem is that, as noted, people are free to identify with any religion they want, whether or not their participation matches that of other followers. Of course, news media tend to go for whatever perspective best serves their viewership goals. This is how we get -Islam=radical jihadists- -Mormons=polygamy cult- and -Evangelical Christian= overzealous, super conservative, white republican- even when the examples brought out to support these tropes don't represent an accurate cross section of all those people who identify with a particular belief system.

1)The verse Gal 3:28 is saying there is no male or female in God's new covernant. God sees male and female the same in that they are entitled to the the same love and Mercy and promises God has for us. 2) If God is telling you and you have prayed about it and read God's word and he is saying trump then go for it won't be my vote but I'm not silly enough to question God's plan or what he has in store because my small brain and philiosophy says otherwise
3) In the old testament the Jews were told to kill gentiles as judgement for there evil (also commanded it vice versa for gentiles on Jews when they messed up) cos he hates wrong in the new testament we enter a period of Mercy and Grace where God is patient and calls all men to turn from evil before it to late. Jesus specifically says those who "kill by the sword die by the sword" to Peter who was defending him. As in this verse there is no Jew or Gentiles in God's new covernant with humanity just an outstretched arm of forgiveness for everybody. There is no Jew or Gentiles everybody can come to God and receive freedom and hope and a new start.

I left the church when I witnessed first hand the corruption and cover up by some high up members on my church. That sent me down a path where I questioned everything.
I hope you don't question salvation and God is awesome you don't have to be part of a church or anything like that you can read the Bible and break it down to Hebrew and Greek etc.... If you're called to be a ministry it's good to have connections but when you actually do believe the Bible and confront churches with the Bible and quote Christians with the Bible and yes I'm believer for sure in Jesus and God and that he is three and one just like we are three in one mind body and soul right but if you separate any of those you're not going to have a working human being and it really is sad that it is supposed to be good news for everyone especially we're supposed to take care of people that it's not their fault that they can't take care of their self I'm not talking about people that should be doing what they can in order to take care of themselves and they don't and they just live off of other people I'm talking people that are actually trying and getting zero support or put down for it that's just my opinion.... You know, not to be offensive, but as a Muslim I find it weird that a man can be God or God can have a son. I find it impossible to believe that God got tired when he created the heavens and the earths in six days. Isn’t God perfect. Without a doubt he is, and someone who gets tired is not perfect. God can only be one, exalted above all other things, having no partners in association. One who does not get tired, and surely does not die. God can forgive creation without having to kill himself or his son. And God has no sons!
Muslim & many christian's do not understand this also. So listen to be the real All Knowledge God must be a God that has to make all things to exist. So HE must be a God that has to make away to do it 1st that takes His All Knowledge that can GO be God to make all things made. And the only God that this was the God in bible who made "His Word Was God". For means when God speck His Word becomes the traveling God called Jesus that takes His All Knowledge to GO be God to do, be & make all things made God said. He is the God that made mankind in the same. For example your word is YOU because it comes from YOU that takes your knowledge level to go get things done & made YOU said. So YOU & your word is of 2 but are 1 YOU. God & His Word Jesus 2 but are 1 who is GOD. So for to be real God is to make all things made with His Word. For why you read in bible over & over "And God said", "And God said". Now In Genesis we need to understand God is not talking of He made all & earth in 1 to 6 days & was trier on 7 day. God is teaching mankind how to measure (what a day is) & a day is called 1 day & 1 becomes our 1st number. Next is 2 days & 2 becomes our 2nd number then 3,4,5,6,7 days. Now mankind can count things & days & measure time in name number order 1 to 7 days so tells mankind HIS-Story chronologically what things God made in 1 to 6 days mankind can measure time by. Teaching mankind a day give man number more days more numbers shall math comes to man. The 7th day god rested means God started mankind days & numbers & math by teaching mankind what a a day. So God is not talking about He made things & earth in 1 to 7 days so know also Evolution was God made for took billions of yrs to form earth. And know any god that is without The Word as Allah "nothing was made by him".
