@@dbrjejdk3847 They unfortunately won’t be admissible on appeal because the only evidence allowed in an appeal is whatever came out at trial. But that’s more than enough for his conviction and sentence to stick.

Charlie wants Wendi to go down, too. He did this for her, he got caught, the jury didn't buy his BS story, so now he is feeling like if I'm going down, she should go down, which I believe she should, but you can feel the resentment from Charlie towards Wendi.

Charlie's arrogance is so extreme that he really thought his ludicrous story ( testimony) was so good that it trumped all of the evidence. He cannot accept that his story was so ridiculous and not one juror bought it. Who is the " everybody they keep referring to? Donna, Harvey and Wendi?
I cannot imagine focusing on the injustice 100% more than focusing on what my new future looks like. Not one “I’m innocent”

It's so interesting what he chooses to focus on as the downfall of his case. Not a peep about how absolutely RIDICULOUS his extortion story was, but hours lamenting about Wendi buying Bulliet bourbon. Apparently Chuck thinks just because he had an answer for every question, no matter how outlandish, that he satisfied the jurors' doubts. When Capleman asked him when something happened and Chuck directed her to a line and page in one of the transcripts, instead of when it happened in time in real life, that's the kind of stuff that exposes to the jurors that you are regurgitating your rehearsed story. He's so proud that he mentioned that Bri had a college education before he preyed on her, he repeated that ad nauseum, and once again a question that was a nothing dot on the roadmap to his conviction.
I know Chuck thinks he's so much better than the jury that convicted him, he is after all a real-life dentist (was), but his lack of self-awareness and inability to relate to other people is emblematic of a much deeper issue.

He confuses me ,it sounds like he is trying to implicate Wendi but then he doesn't seem to want to...Wendi ghosting him and not going to see her parents after the verdict screams guilty imo...I would not mind if the state lowered Charlie's sentence in order for Wendi to serve some time
I think he's doing it because he knows his calls are monitored. So he wants to implicate her, but not make it look like he is--
@@kathymccarthy5264Precisely. Also, I think he was floating it by mommy dearest. Charlie is dumb as a box of rocks but even he has to have noticed by now that Donna doesn’t bring up Wendi anymore. Used to be, that was all they talked about! At the end of the day, the only thing Charlie cares about is Charlie, the only thing Donna cares about is Donna & the only thing Wendi cares about is Wendi.

He uses every opportunity to blame everyone for his own actions. But listen to him talk at his mother, he uses every phone call to throw it in her face about the emails and texts that HE didn't write but is being blamed for. His mother doesn't say anything when he starts down that road.
He thinks presenting an alternate story that could possibly have happened is enough to create reasonable doubt. But, the double extortion story had nothing to back it up, whereas the hit man story had a lot of backup in testimony, wiretaps, emails and texts. If Prosecution was lying, as he charges, why didn't his lawyer counter and fight for his client.
His lawyer did challenge the facts presented by the prosecutor. Believe me, he fought for his client. Problem is, even the best defense attny is stuck w/certain facts. And in this case, the evidence was overwhelming that the defendant was guilty. But none are more guilty than Donna herself, not even the one who pulled the trigger.
I've never seen someone rationalize so much bull poop, that he seems to have bull pooped himself 😂.
Funny how his fate (in his opinion) relied on the jury and the state, NOT on the fact that he's actually innocent
He likes to slam Wendy for her book and condescending attitude about the people of Tally - but he sure does a great job of that himself.
These people are flat-out delusional. They've been surrounded by beholding yes-men for decades .. and are shocked they can't BUY their way out of THE TRUTH.
To think that one of the most powerful pieces of evidence was the smallest?? Stapled money! Could not run away from that !! And that that fairytale was embarrassing!!

The day of/after his testimony was the only day I saw things that looked positive...people were says hung jury for sure...this was on the law and crime live feed of the trial and the reddit and FB groups...people seemed worried about reasonable doubt with the jury

This conversation is mind boggling. Apparently Charlie has convinced himself that he's innocent. It’s hard to listen to the BS.
Chawlie went on about how " they" destroyed his life and other people's lives. He's convicted of murdering a man, the father of his sister's children. Charles destroyed his own life. In all of these jail calls, Chawlie never says " I was convicted of a crime I didn't do. Instead, he says that there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. The only testimony he addresses is his. He doesn't mention his co-conspirators testimonies, Jeff's testimony, the coded phones ( numerous) and of course, there is the money trail. He's angry because he got caught.
He ruined his own life when he decided to take someone else’s! The sheer arrogance and entitlement is absolutely mind numbing! At least he gets to speak to his parents, who do the markells get to speak to!? In other news, I have GOT to stop listening to these calls, I’ve done nothing else for the past month! It’s just so damn interesting hearing their delusional ranting

In the meantime, someone need to tell Charlie he wasn't doing a test at school where you just answer questions. In this case even though you did that you're still guilty because you're lying through your teeth.

If you listen to the closing of Katherine Manbagua, it's almost identical to Charlie's so this notion that the Prosecution got all nervous and crammed for this amazing closing is as about accurate as all of Charlie and Donna's other assertions.

Of course Rashy tells you(Charlie) that you scored a 95...he wants to continue getting his $$$$...the same will happen with Mama Donna....Wendi will not have Rashy as an attorney WHEN she gets arrested. Not once does Charlie say he is innocent.

"Wonderful" Dan was falling asleep yawning (watch the video) right in front of the jury during the Prosecutors closing argument. Thank God Donna picked "Wonderful Dan" to be her attorney. Perhaps the Markels are helping pay for him to defend her to assure that like her son, she goes to prison for life
