Never once does Charlie deny the involvement of the murder. He just blames the jury, the evidence and the witnesses.

Charlie’s complaining that he won’t be able to play with his son and the dog, yet he had no problem taking out his brother in law. His nephews will never be able to play with their Dad either.

The thought of spending my whole life in prison in a cell makes my anxiety level extremely high just thinking about it ..I'd rather they have given me the death penalty...but even the death penalty takes an extremely long time...but he is right where he deserves..just waiting for wendi to be arrested.

His life was so good!! I live in Boca Raton not far from where he lives and it's beautiful here...why would they throw that away for Wendi??! Come on...she threw her family under the bus first 15 minutes into her interrogation and now that the job is done she cuts ties with them, she's not the brightest that makes her look extremely guilty..

Many of Charlie’s prison calls are now posted online with various family and friends. He should record one of his rambling calls like this one and send the pre -recorded robocall to all of his family members and friends. He virtually says the same thing in his rambling diatribes on every call . His friend on this call sounds like he’s eating dinner and reading the newspaper while he’s listening to Charlie. He periodically says wow and that’s about it 😂.

What happened to " the extortion" ?? I have been listening to calls and not once have I heard extortion in any of the calls...or said " im innocent,im innocent" i would have been screaming that a million times if I was sentenced to life and I was innocent

The problem with the Adelson’s is that they have surrounded themselves with absolutely no one that would step in and tell them the truth. Plus, they are an “us vs them” kind of family. So, Chucky here thinks that a good prosecutor presenting vast amounts of evidence and doing a great job, is an attack on him. Not that he hired ppl to kill a man, but that the state uncovered and found it out.

Exactly! The Adelson’s definitely co-signed one another’s BS. But that said, at the end of the day, what each of them cares about the most is themself. Charlie boy was so consumed w/self pity, it didn’t occur to him mommy was next. Donna sobs & cries, assuring Charlie she’d be at the 1st visitation, all the while planning her escape from the US. And Wendi is having minimal contact w/the fam, by text, on the advice of her lawyer. Should be entertaining to see who flips on who first.

He’s in a county jail at this point. They have the ability to place calls most of the day, except for a few hours. As long as you pay per minute! It costs a fortune. Once he’s in prison, he won’t be able to stay on the phone hour after hour.

Towards the end of the call, Charlie says his lawyer is not allowed to rebut after Prosecution closing statement. I don't think that is true. The Defense can rebut anything said in closing by Prosecution.

The Adelsons seem to have surrounded themselves with shallow "yes-men" ... People who nod, agree, support them to their face because they need that validation. These people who - for whatever reason - connected via business, family, neighborhood - aren't going to be around to listen to their whining diatribe.

There is zero chance that an appeal will be granted. Charlie had a very fair trial with a brilliant fair judge that protected the record. The shit show was Charlie's fairytale about extortion which was a load of crap.
Blaming the prosector and the jury is outrageous nonsense. The prosector has the legal right to quote what Charlie's best friend Ryan testified in trial about. Charlie your lawyer told you what you want to hear about getting off otherwise he would not have received the judge fee you paid him. Charlie and his lawyer approved the jurors now that te jury voted guilty on all counts he isn't happy...too bad now.
The evidence against Charlie was overwhelming clear and convincing. Charlie's attorney took less time in the closing because he was looking directly at the jury and noted they were not taking notes, had their arms folded and looking disgusted at his nonsense defense tales. It's over for Charlie, he gets to die in prison.
Regardless of where that trial was held it's the same evidence. The prosecutors did not twist any of the evidence. Charlie and his attorney were also very unlikeable.

I remember when Scott Peterson was in court trying to get an appeal last year and it struck me that he walked differently. He didn´t have that trademark good posture walk like he used too. Iinstead he walked like a thug, just like Charlie will in a few years.

I promise they could’ve left out the Wendi book and crime scene drive by and he’d still be convicted. Those emails were better evidence bc they show sincere out of control hatred, thirst for revenge, and motive. Wendi didn’t even respond to the emails. She knew this might happen but no Wendi on any single call. Used mom as babysitter until boys got older. Charlie sentencing was the final piece for her to completely break away. She didn’t stop it but didn’t help it along like Katie, so she could at most get charged for being complicit. But no they won’t risk charging her bc they get one shot. They will be patient until something pops up even if it’s in 10 years. Better than wasting their one shot to put her away. She will never get a sentence even close to the rest of the jailed if they do charge her mark my words.. there is not enough. So many big attorneys have said the same thing. Katie would have only gotten the lesser charges if she would have simply known about it rather than be the murder tour guide and connector. Wendi grew up in that family…. she knew everyone’s roles and Charlie was the attention seeking Fixer and he just never stopped needing that pat on the head. He was “the guy” for everyone the steroid guy, the stock tip guy, the Xanax guy, the hey come take my boat guy. He lived to feel important. To be needed. And he lived in that bubble where reality is very distorted. He felt untouchable. He lost sight of or maybe never had sight of boundaries and consequences. There is a new diagnosis for this - for wealthy entitled people who do terrible shit bc they grow up with a skewed version of reality that socializes them differently, therefore changing the settings on their moral compass. It’s like a grown up version of what that rich asshole kid used as a defense - the one who was wasted with his friends driving and killed someone? Ethan something or other? Years ago. His dad practically owned the town. Judge just sentenced him to go to rehab but let it be one of his choice and maybe probation and he went to a fancy rehab that celebs go to. And he and his mom eventually went on the run bc he got in more trouble later. Anyway this new “syndrome” for the wealthy is something that builds on the condition that was used as a defense for the boy when he was 16 that killed maybe 2-3 good people on the side of the road helping someone change a flat tire. That verdict made my blood boil. Anyway, that type of defense would’ve been better than his “hit men who hired themselves to murder a distant ex-relative, that banked on him paying up and not calling the police” wouldn’t the hitmen have made sure Charlie didn’t have an alibi?! It was a weekday morning!! He was prob at work! Then what? Had katie told them hey he has so much cash in his safe…. they’d rob him. Period. no murder. Prob not even the need for a weapon so no armed robbery... then they could’ve just blackmailed him forever based on him trying to hire them for murder. Alcohol drugs and toxic relationship with baby mama made for some reckless stupid decisions. Luis trusted Sig that it had to be a murder. He didn’t prove he just trusted that it had to be. Whole thing is insane.

The mistake CA's friend/brotha made with this call is CA starts call by asking him: "How are you man?" and he doesn't answer. Next call, "brotha" needs to go into a 40 minute soliloquy about his own person life's problems like needing a haircut, being out of milk, unable to find the remote, tires need rotating, etc. Filibuster CA's ass like a politician.
