OMG so true and I never thought about that. Plus his big time attorney lied to him the whole way through and gave him major false hope. If people like me just an observer can hear that defense and say it’s “laughable” (a word professionals also used) how could Radhbaum say yeah it’s great??

The money trail did him in. There is no sane way to explain paying off the killers and middle woman. He tried to say it wasn’t a payment for murder with one of the stupidest excuses ever. The wiretaps show he knew he was guilty, which highlighted what was already obvious- he paid for the murder. Way the hell beyond a reasonable doubt!

They had a great lawyer. He was an awful client who refused to admit any guilt. Wouldnt anyone have said, "Okay, yes, I did hire them, but ONLY to rough him up". This would ve made the rest of the story at least remotely plausible. And maybe he wouldve gotten 20 or 25 yrs, I dont know. But this? His story is the most absurd defense Ive ever heard. He made the prosecutor's job easy and his lawyer's job impossible.

He’s fixating on the non-helpful Ryan Fitzpatrick testimony, but makes no mention of Katie’s utterly incriminating time on the stand…ignoring facts. It’s sad, he really thinks he’s innocent because he had a ”reasonable explanation“ for every question asked. He knows he’s guilty of the actual crime, just delusional in that he thought his lies would move a jury toward a not guilty verdict. How sad

      I’m that mum 😄 !
When my son was a teenager his school was on a teacher’s strike . He wanted a game so I left him with £10 before going to work . Hours later when I got home I got a call from the police saying he’s been arrested for shoplifting . I deliberately left him there for a few hours before going to collect him . Although he wasn’t charged he had a friend who actually did the thief . But according to my son his friend had put a game in his hood and, he didn’t know . I said you knew . The store detective said he was aware and I believed her .
I didn’t speak to the Store detective myself but my son told what she said . Then the cheeky mare asked me why did I take so long to collect him , I told him I wanted you know what it feels like to get locked up .

The murder of Dan Markel was a clear expression of hate: Wendi's, Donna's, Harvey's and Charlie's - and even the hitmen & Katie who achieved a level of hatred as they too chose to act. Now we hear never ending conversations where Charlie assumes others are as consumed by hatred as he is - and he cannot comprehend that the jury instead met the request society made of them to apply logic, facts, and then perform a civic duty selflessly. It's concerning that what motivated this tragedy continues to live within him, & is expressed by him as he spreads hateful thoughts to others. He will have to save himself from the hatred - there is nobody else that can save him from himself - - and he will suffer until he realizes this truth.

He still has no real idea what he's in for. Awful. The prisons in this country are slave colonies. But he's 100% guilty beyond any reasonable doubt. He didnt flee bc he didnt think he's get caught. He's deluded with how own sense of self-worth and intelligence.. but they have none or they never would have hired stranger, directly tied to them to kill the person they hated.. it's just.. Im amazed it took 10 yrs to convict him. I didnt think the Dolce Vita audio was that important all. His implausible defense story is what did him in. _Im innocent._ So sad.. I really feel like the kids will be better off w/o these psychos,, as sad as that is. Let Bree remarry and just move on.

It hasn't hit Charlie yet that Wendi set up the entire operation since 2014 and also placed red herrings for the FBI to point the finger at Charlie and Donna and everybody else but her. They are all guilty, but it's just interesting how Charlie can't quite understand Wendi's deep manipulation of him the "10,000 to 1 chance" of Wendi driving by the house when it definitely wasn't part of the family plan. Wendi is the true head of the snake here. Wendi doesn't give a shit about any of them from La Casse to Katie to Donna or Charlie.
