Naji Negon, concentrate on being a MARINE, first and foremost, then, if You are good enough ,then try out to become a MARSOC Raider Critical Skills Operator ( MOS 0372). Don't put the cart before the horse.
If I said that Canadians are not Americans, @@jackwhite4091 would say "They literally live in North America lol." Pedantry is a moron's idea of what it means to be smart.
@@jackwhite4091 Are you saying you worked at an LAR Bn or were you a POG at a Recon Bn? Either way, you should know that just like 'American', 'Reconnaissance Marine' is a title that refers to a specific thing, not just any Marine who does any form of reconnaissance, and not just any person living on a continent called America.
Stuart Doyle no no I wasn't a pog. Sometimes I do regret not choosing a different mos though. I understand what you mean. A lot of Marines can go out on reconnaissance. Doesn't matter of mos or not. But I'm telling you right now that guys in LAVs have recon Marines. I been in Aavs before with a lt sniper. They are work in the same bn and their mission is reconnaissance. Who were you with?
Neither. From what I recall, beyond a few observer roles, no SOF units (be they the NZSAS or the Australian SASR) were involved directly in the exercise. The marines pictured were likely operating with the recon elements of QAMR and 2nd/1st battalion RNZIR.
Can you guys please make another video on MARSOC...it's my dream to be a MARSOC operator

This is really cool wish I could do this.
Why couldn't you? If you don't mind me asking.
Joseph Custer I would like to go to ocs but I don't qualify for ocs physically. Is that a good enough reason?
Joseph Custer what do you think?
Sculpin You just gotta push your self and you'll get your goal, it may take a year or two but as long as you put in the effort it will happen.
I hope this was somewhat motivating for you. Good luck.
It’s my dream to be recon
This video is mistitled. LAR Marines are not Reconnaissance Marines.
Stuart Doyle yes they are. Lar literally means reconnaissance lol

Stuart Doyle dude they are reconnaissance marines. I worked in a marine recon battalion. That's the only reason why I replied.

Welcome to new Zealand yakees

Rrrrrah!
Who were they working with 21st or D-squad commandos?

Thereddwarf 1 cool, thanks man. Makes sense
Algood bro
Just regular soldiers from the army. Most likely 2/1 RNZIR (Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment)
@@Josh-um3jr Australians SASR would never be training in NZ interfering with NZ soldiers or US marines.
