What amazes me most about the original Game Boy is how it has one of the wildest libraries of any system I've looked into, and it is surprisingly underserved; there's very little left to explore of the NES library, but for as popular as the Game Boy is, you'd think more people would be exploring itss depths. There are some really interesting experiences, like Cosmo Tank, Kingdom Crusade, and the Rolan's Curse titles that aren't quite like anything else I've played.
Weirdly, the original Gameboy was so much cheaper in America that quite a few of us from Britain always bought one over there when we went on holiday to Orlando (like myself!). And it still works today!

Now there's mods for it to improve upon it
