The candles arent actually new to this update, they were introduced in the hilders request update, but most people probably skipped that one so i can see why you think they were new.
I do like the Ashland's building pieces, But I prefer the the dark color of the mistlands building pieces, wish there was an option to change color of pieces you are building.
i wonder what kind of statistics these new stone pieces have. stability value. hitpoints. resistences. if they are better than marble overall or equal.
I'd be willing to bet that they have the same health but a higher stability rating just judging by the buildings you can find scattered throughout the ashlands I feel quite a bit in the game and there's simply no way to build that Paul of a structure at a black marble without using some trickery and glitching extra support beams inside and I'm pretty sure none of the broken down cathedrals have flame metal beams
Dude i cant for the life of me figure out what arches are for the top of the flametal doors the big ones, anyone know lol? all of em kinda glitch into the top of the door
No offense to you and all offense to Irongate, but these look SO boring and uninspired. They really couldnt put ANY design into these pieces? These are basically just geometric shapes in blender with a concrete texture, thats it. Absolutely zero design or flare or color or accent. This game is just such a lazy let down at this point. Im so disappointed by this team.
I personally love all the new stuff because it allows me to fulfill my wish of building Gothic style cathedrals in places they very much shouldn't be like the top of a mountain
Theres a hundred ways to go about making a gothic set piece beyond just a drab flat gray finish to an untextured polygon from a preset shape tool in Blender. This is lazy, plain and simple. These devs need to stop being defended.@@gnomewarlord8962
Valheim was alwqys about what you make out of the pieces. YOU make the design, not the game for you. So you could say they were lazy, so you wouldnt have to be ;)

Can stone portals connect to normal portals and if so can you tp ores if only one side is stone
I just tested it. Yes you can use one new one and one old one and it only works one way with ore. =)

No offense taken. They are pretty much reskins of different pieces, but yeah no variations of color or texture. =(
