  • Masks have been mandatory in my state for most of 2020. Unfortunately, effective masks are restrictive and can make it hard to breathe for some folks (like me). I'm in the contagion zone five days a week, so I started looking for a solution early on. This video shows how to quickly and easily hack out a Bandana mask with N95 protection that doesn't look like a mask, and best of all is breathable.
Some background: The Broad Airpro ( ebay.to/2DSnKna ) is an affordable powered face mask. The Broad Airpro is NOT a professional-level PAPR. It's an inexpensive consumer-grade unit. Please note that this is not a sponsored video. However, Broad did send extra units and parts to work with.
Another manufacturer asked if they could send me one of their powered masks. I will start testing it and will post a video review as soon as time permits.
I want to get back to producing auto-related videos ASAP, as well. Knock wood, I will.
    Stay Safe and Be Well!

Im curious why you havnt done a review of the Mitsubishi Mirage? Its supposed to be the most fuel efficient no hybrid new car in America

I spent a bit of time with the Mirage a while back, but it never made its way onto the review schedule. At the time, I drove it back to back with the 1.0L Fiesta, which is sadly no longer offered in America. Long story short, I ended up buying a used 1.0L Fiesta two years ago. I haven’t released any content with the car (yet).

Wearing an N96 mask is like wearing no mask at all. You're better off with a plain bandana. Merry Christmas Dan. 2010 Yaris, 35 mpg city all the time. Any car reviews coming up in 2021?

Wearing a proper n95 mask is the safest option you can get. a bandana doesn't give good protection, droplets can easily go tru the bandana

@@nikothewagon1700 If it vents, then it can let out droplets which can carry the virus. I'd rather use a cheap, paper one like they give us in the lab.

      Bingo! That’s why I wear a non-vented N95 under the bandana.

Merry Christmas, Pedro! I only use non-vented N95 under the bandana. Knock wood, I will have automotive content coming in the new year. I’ve been scrambling to keep the bills paid, but I’m working on some crazy stuff.
Nice numbers on the Yaris! I picked up a 2014 1.0L EcoBoost Fiesta a while back. Averaging just a bit less than 40 MPG combined. Be Well and Stay Tuned!

@@mpgomatic I rented a Fiesta once and honestly, it was the best small car I've ever driven, too bad for that trouble prone DCT transmission.
