Really great job including the 0-60 times.
Yeah no kidding 😂
💀
1:10 Finally a Ford Hybrid with real stepped gears...
that are the gears stripping?
the hybrid is surprisingly quick!
The slowest shit they could’ve gotten, they get smoked everyday
@@mikegmez941 and then peoples governers kick in and the cop can catch up if they want. Or they, you know, don't chase
@@mikegmez941 prolly just salty cause your slow whip gets caught by them 😂
@@josephstalin6281 *probably
This video don’t do it justice with just how actually fast the EcoBoost is!
Agreed you have to feel that pull for sure to get an understanding of that experience
No justice at all, that my eco-boost kept up easily with a r/t and SS camaro during a couple chases I had
@@michaelhodge9232lies 😂
@@angelcuellar8691 aww did you get caught once?
Wow amazing job capturing those 0-60 times
All this video says is that I shouldn't have let myself get a speeding ticket
lol no doubt
this makes me so excited for evoc tomorrow
if you load up the turbo on the ecoboost you can break low 5's to 60!
the hybrid and regular 3.3 times are in the mid 7's. The 3.0 turbos is mid 6's. I used a stop watch on each car 3 times a piece to get my times.
Not even close pal
Ty
3.0 is high 5's
@stevepurcell5883 in no world is that video even close to touching 5s 😂😂😂😂😂 go relearn 1st grade please. It goes 1,2,3,4,5, THEN 6.
So what were the times...?
That hybrid sounded like it rattled during every shift.
Just the exhaust.
Scott the sound you’re hearing is Fords half assed version of vtec. The previous body style NA 3.5 and 3.7l sound very similar.
It’s the gearbox, it’s very fast, giving a DSG type fart because of the unburnt fuel that is forced into the exhaust
Ah, what a lovely intro.
3.3 - 7,8 sec
3.3 Hybrid - 7,2 sec
3.0 EcoBoost - 6,2 sec
the 3.0 is the ecoboost.
@@BrettzGaming56 Yor're right. Sorry ;)
BrettzGaming my Honda Civic is faster than this lol
Wow. We must being using two different timers. 8.4, 7.4, 6.7-8. Did it twice. I use when you hear him hit the pedal. Since that really is when he starts
My Hyundai Sonata would roast this car alive once I take the speed governor off 😊
which one was the quickest
I got about mid 6s from just the video timer..
The 3.0 was decent. The other two were not and sounded like they were on the edge of coming apart.
The hybrid will be a top seller for most cities. The eco boost will take most of the other ones.
Is the 3.0 the twin turbo with 400hp 420 tourqe? And how much heavier is the interceptor then the St model?
The other 2 will last long. There not ecoblown motor like the 3.0 turbo.
Sartaj Aujla where did you get this information?
Theyre TiVCT, this is how fords variable valve engines sound, especially with good airflow. My 3.5 wdge and 3.7 mkz have air intakes on them and sound similar to this.
What's the quarter mile time
1:13 are you doing this in a 15mph zone like😂
With dozens of New Jersey's Finest watching.
The 3.3L... does it have the 10-speed? And that buzzing of the Hybrid!!! Wow that sounds rough!
That's called Ti-VCT
"where the mosquitoes grow as big as airplanes" lol oh no
3.0 V6 be scooottttiiiinnnnn
3.0L ECOBEAST 400HP AND 415 LB-FT
Do you upload to a different channel?
Sartaj Aujla This is my only channel, but I produce other content, as well.
3.3L did it in 8 seconds, the hybrid in 7 sec, and the eco boost in 6 sec
I wish my department wasn’t cheap and would spring for the Ecoboost. I’ll let it run outta warranty and throw a five star tune on the thing! 😂
the hybrid shifts like the 3.5 ford fusion'
1st car / 3.3L V6 - 8.3 Secs
2nd car / 3.3L Hybrid - 7.6 Secs
3rd car / 3.0L Ecoboost 6.5 Secs
Hard to think a v6 suv is faster than a 2017 v8 caprice, even with less horsepower than the v8
You can thank the development team for the effort that went into the GT that pays dividends to the 3.0L TT 😉
Gotta post those 0-60 times, Dan! ;)
Hello fellow furry!
7.5 sec
My computer stop watch shows the non-hybrid 8.25 sec. The hybrid 7.77 sec, and 6.8 seconds for the turbo. Not great for the non turbo's, they're about Crown Vic. numbers. The Turbo did OK, but hardly any departments will buy them because of the added problems and decreased engine life. The old 3.7L was probably faster, definitely in the Taurus AWD. If the 3.3L is the same architecture as the F-150's, then Ford won't even admit that it has Dual Injection. They're afraid it would raise red flags about all the problematic Direct Injected engines in their fleet.
@@R777-RLM the Dodge Durango is still the fastest police suv with a classic hemi engine
@@coolsquad7428 Yeah, hopefully it will be the fastest with the new model, since they're upping the top speed. The V8 should be the quickest to 60 mph as well.
ok but the getaway car has a 6.4L V8 and 700+hp.
Motorola and stop sticks.
That's kind of sad because electric and petrol can be combined to get even faster acceleration, I was expecting hybrid to be faster.
That hybrid does sound a bit faster..yes☺🤗💯but..what with all the noise at the end..lol..your shoe slipped or what!!!🤣😅😜👞
Tune the vehicle and then see how it accelerates.
V6?! Why
None of them say “ Certified Calibration” on the speedo or instrument cluster. Police package vehicles are supposed to have that
It does read closely its in grey on the middle of the speedometer.
RPM was going off, defiantly not accurate.
Angel Gutierrez are you referring to the auto stop/start?
If you opened your eyes you'll see it does on the right side.
@@angelgjr1999 Only the hybrid did that.
Why no sport mode it should be default.
There is no sport mode for this.
@@WayneKerr69420 DAMN THAT SUCKS
@@mustangdbest220 They don't need it as the police cars are geared as if they were in sport mode all the time.
@@WayneKerr69420 Ahhh
they should have the lincoln hybrid motor. 👌🏽
Crazy how the 3.3 V6 in an SUV is faster than the old 4.6 V8 in the Crown Vics.
“Technology “
@SubtoPolecat324 nah much faster
I’m still trying to figure out my 2022. There is a major delay if you floor the pedal. However sometimes if you ease into it the pickup is pretty good.
@@blur3253 Not according to Michigan state police testing. I’m guessing you haven’t drive one. A 3.3 and the hybrid explorer are absolute gutless turds with no torque. Especially once loaded down with gear. The Tahoe actually posted a slightly faster 0-60 than those two.
@@r2ba435 They are still faster than the vic.
he dont wanna race tho
Personally would never buy the 3.3L one. 3.0L all the way.
Halo music
even that fast, I dought it can catch a Hayabusa
How you mispell "doubt" in 2020 boggles my mind.
I love organ donors
The 3.3 sucks hands down. Whoever designed the accelerator should be kicked in the head for that lousy design. Gonna get someone killed or hurt
It’s actually not that bad especially once you are already rolling.
It does 99% of what’s needed in a police cruiser.
I agree they suck. Absolute gutless dogs. My 15 impala felt much quicker.
Slow
Slower than a 90s Honda.
The 3.0 ecoboost has a 0-60 of 5.6 seconds…
@@Transitional-Authority no it was 6.4
@@HaiderAli-ot2gg No it was about 5.8
Maybe now they want fear for their life as much.
I would easily beat them in a straight line tbh.
@Joe Mamma i didnt say i can outrun them but in a open road with no traffic and a straight away, they ain't catching me man. Maybe with their older V8 Chargers but these ecoboost V6s have no chance.
Ecoboost eats Hemis for breakfast
@@zinotoubal3215 The 3.0 Explorer pursuit is faster then the 5.7 Charger accelerating and around the track.
@@benjaminwayneb probly bcs they AWD
Maybe, but I wouldn’t underestimate the power of these Explorers. They have a top speed of 150 MPH.
